So months ago I came to this McDonalds and received the worst drive thru customer service I have ever had and this is coming from someone who has worked fastfood for over 10 years so I get that things happen but wow. So I get to the menu board and there's complete silence. I asked "Hello?" after waiting a minute before getting a one minute rudely told to me. Okay, cashier could be dealing with a difficult customer or having a really bad day so no worries. I wait until finally I get t order, I let the order taker know I have a coupon. She asked me what several times and each time I repeated it slower thinking maybe the headset was bad. Order taker said okay finally and I placed my order. The order was a meal(coupon), 2 sausage muffins, 2 chicken sandwiches, 2 cheeseburgers. I pull forward and the line is slow moving, it's dinnertime so you know I whatever to that. I get to the first window and I have the gal my coupon and payment and she gives a confused look, looks between the computer and myself and informs me that I need to let them know at the menu board I had a coupon because it has to be put in a different way(again I've worked fast food so I know this) so I repeat to the employee that I had several times at the menu board. She then looks at me and asks me if I wanted to still use the coupon. That was the whole point of going here and not anywhere else. When I answered yes she rolled her eyes, called a manger to help and closed the window. (I dunno about McDonalds but the 2 major fast food chains I've worked for if its not extreme weather it's considered rude to close the window, but again not too irked yet). the manager comes fixes the order, opens the door and the manager then disappears. I get my stuff back and I head to the next window. Oddly enough the next window was just fine but no pleasantries, it was they just handed me my food and soda. I took my food and was like okay, so long as the food is hot I can be happy. So... as you have probably guessed the food was not hot. I took out one of the breakfast sandwiches and was kinda craving one as it was dinner time that SHOULD mean that the sandwich would be hot and fresh. Nope. Cold and dry. Disappinted threw the rest of the sandwich back in the bag and grabbed a chicken sandwich. The chicken sandwich was warm but when I opened it it had so much lettuce in it that it basically exploded like confetti in my lap and car. GREAT. Tried one of the cheese burgers... cold. Okay so I decided I would take a few fries from my husband's meal... COLD WITH NO SALT. GROSS. So I decide I better check his sandwich... COLD COLD COLD. I couldn't believe it. The only good thing was the chicken sandwich (of which the 2nd one was cold so must have been from a different batch). Livid I knew I would have been nothing but rude to the manager if I called in so I waited to calm down until the next morning and submitted a survey asking to be contacted. I've ubered from this location a few times, but they have a serious accuracy problem. They've left stuff out completely, sent the wrong sizes (conveniently always something less expressive than what you paid for) and the wrong flavors. Unfortunately, often you take your food from the driver, they leave, and then you can check it. There's no recourse or way to fix it. So, McDonald's is McDonald's is McDonald's. But, I thought this particular store was pretty cool. It was high tech and clean, as it was recently remodeled. The staff was friendly and patient with some of the other challenging customers who came up. I ordered my usual fruit and yogurt parfait, while my husband ordered a double cheeseburger. Of course, the food at McD's is pretty standard across the board, but there was something about this location that made me want to stay and hang out. The worst manager ever by the name of ALAN! He did not know how to talk to a paying customer. First of all, my husband and I love McDonald's. It's our go to fast food joint and we usually never have an issue. And trust me We've gone to different ones but this is by far the worst McDonald's I've been too. We went through the drive thru today 9/15/2019 made our order and went to the first window to pay... the lady there repeated a order and asked us if this was our order, I said yes. I get my recipe and guess what?! I was charged the wrong order. So basically I paid for someone else's order which was way more than what our order was. So we pull up to the window where we were getting our order and three people were just standing there, back facing the window just talking and talking. And when we finally got their attention we said hey they charged us the wrong number. All the lady in the front said was "Alan, alan," he came took my card without even acknowledging us that he'll be right back. RUDE... so he left maybe a good 5 minutes. Mind you we didn't get our food yet. They still had it with them while they talked. The so called manager ALAN, finally gave the lady at the window our card and she handed it to us. We looked at her like and asked " what now?" "So what did he end up doing?!" She said she didn't know and that she wasn't sure how long. We pulled away from the drive thru and I opened my bank account as we were driving. I see nothing done. So I was like ok let's find out how long it'll take for the refund of our money to go back in our card or to see why the transaction didn't seem to make sense. So I got down and went inside. I asked to speak to Alan the so called manager and he came up to me with a dumb look on his dumb face like what do you want. So I asked hey so I was just wondering what was done on my card and how long the refund would be put back into my account. He looked at me picked up is arms and said "I don't know". He said "well I gave you your receipts and your refund what else do you want" I was so angry but I knew my next words or actions would probably get me in trouble. This place is falling apart. The staff can be rude, the food is gross. They ALMOST always get my order wrong. Not a good place.

For the most part the employees in the drive through do their best to be friendly. The staff that's cooking is where the problem is. Every time the fries are cold, even when I have to pull around front and wait. Half the time my extra patty that I order on the side is in my burger. The other half of the time my burger isn't cooked all the way. If I have to wait out front for my food to cook shouldn't it actually be cooked and hot?! It's fast food not rocket science. read more

Drive another 5-10 minutes and go to the one on 41st or the one on SE Everett Mall Way. Employees could care less about the customers. They will mess up your order and even if they do get your order correct the food is likely disgusting. The last time I was there half my fries were burnt (literally so hard they could have been chips) the other half were hella soggy. Don't even know how that happens but it's not worth the headache. The food is a lot better than most McDonald's here if you dine in but the drive through services I heard nightmare stories about if your a Mexican. The staff seems to be racists. The staff talk shot about their fellow employees when there not present almost every time. The fries are not cardboard in 3 seconds though. Their burgers are even more tender than the burgers at other places as well. I however do not see honor here. I had an actual written list of items on the value menu to order. I read them off word for word. The cashier left off* one item completely, charged me full price on value fries. And when I went to pick up I went through my bag. It was missing the apple pies. I come to this McDonalds location every day with my boyfriend. We each order a Large Caramel Iced Coffee separately. We both use the McDonalds app coupon for any size McCafe for 99 cents. There should be NO ISSUE WITH THIS. And there never has been until today. Today me and my boyfriend came through the drive through to get our usual orders and after we used my boyfriends coupon and payed for the first order, we were told by the cashier that we could only use one coupon. We explained to her that we had 2 separate orders so she card another cashier over , who told us she could only scan one coupon. I told her that the second coupon was on a separate phone. I was very nice and respectful while explaining their misunderstanding of how the coupons actually work. Finally , I asked for the manager who was extremely rude and insisted there was nothing they could do. We cancelled both orders and got a refund for the first one. First I came in (I'm an employee that works at 41st) and ordered a soda and a mcchicken fresh, came out within 1 minute of ordering, was not fresh, it takes 3 minutes for a mcchicken to cook. Your food is supposed to burn your tongue when you bite into it not tase like a sponge. I don't really eat fast food, but when I need something quick this is one of the nearby places I go. The outside is really cute, but they're doing construction right now. The inside has been redecorated. It is now open and modern. Of the three times I've been there service has been slow. The shamrock shake I ordered in the past wasn't very minty. I've also had ice cream there, and it was decent as far as soft served goes. Nothing special, it is McDonald's after all. The staff varies of course when it comes to service. I've never had any issues. The coffee is decent, not too bitter or anything. When I tried it, it started out a bit bad but then I kept drinking it and it seemed to improve. read more
