This is the worst McDonald's I have ever been to!! The drive thru line was so long that I decided to go inside. All the employees were just standing around talking and taking their good old time while they had long line inside and out. The cashier wasnt very friendly and didn't give me my drink cups until my actual order came out. I watched them making the food in the back and noticed that almost no one had gloves or a hair net on. I watched this one girl sneeze on to her hands about 4 or 5 times and not wash them. It was absolutely disgusting knowing some one who did that was handling my food. I waited forever to get my food and the quality of it was horrible. The food was cold and seemed old, and the bread was stale. Needless to say I will never go back to this McDonalds again. read more

Loaded Yelp app just to warn anyone to avoid this one at all costs. Stood in line for over 10 minutes- Manager saw us all standing there an never added a 3rd person to registers. I had to finally leave- was too stressful to hear everyone sighing out loud. The 2 checkout folks were not on their game and couldn't keep focus on guests and acted as if there was no one else in line. Ordered a double quarter pounder large meal and a chicken sandwich with ranch which should have been part of the buy one get one for $1 deal, they charged 6 dollars for the chicken sandwich. Once we got our food I was given a medium drink and no ranch as well as a sing quarter pounder. The chicken sandwich had no pickles on it as well. The straw given to me was soggy and the tip was bent to the point where u couldn't drink out of it. At least the service was quick read more

I've been to McDonald's many times late at night where the inside of the restaurant has been closed early, usually 10:30ish. Last weekend I went there at 8:30pm to see that they just closed the inside early. This has happened many times. Sometimes even the drive-thru is closed early (says it is open until 1am) on weekend. When I'm trying to get my nuggets and I cant just because they want to close 3 hours early, it infuriates me. This is absolutely outrageous coming from a place in Eldersburg. @the manager who looks like Lil Yachty, yeah you know me, I come in that jawn often with all my friends. I was so excited about getting a vanilla latte for myself on this cold day, and it turned out to be awful! It had no sweetness at all. It tasted burnt and bitter. They totally forgot most of the ingredients, like the sugar! This is strike three for this Mcdonalds. In the previous weeks, my husband and I have gotten our two boys the 6 piece happy meals and both times they gave them only 4 pieces and still charged us for 6. I have been to this McDonald's several times over the last 10 years. On average it has been pretty consistent with quality of food, cleanliness of the restaurant and employee courtesy. My last three visits have been extremely disappointing. As an employee of McDonald's during the mid 80's while I was going to college, I learned to love the guidelines for food prep and how a fast food restaurant ran on teenage labor and remember the pride that we had for our restaurant and our great team. Every time I visit a McDonald's I can't help assessing what I see. This restaurant was a favorite of my 9 year old son and my wife for a quick excursion on a busy night or just for a sweet tea and some fries. Not any more. My last visit on Saturday, Dec 28th at 7:45pm was the last for a while. The restaurant was empty except for a mother and kids in the play area and a gentleman waiting for his food at the end of the counter. I was greeted by a woman manager who said "he will be with you in a minute". (I've never walked into a McDonald's and not had someone at the counter who could help.) Then the young man came and took my order and I went and waited with the man who was standing at the end of the counter when I walked in. While I was standing there the Man manager was having a loud discussion with the employee in the grill area over how many bacon McDoubles they were waiting on--It was so loud and unruly the gentleman with hearing aids next to me said "What is going on with this place?" And we discussed how disappointed we both were over the loud words and disorganization. While we were in there--there were 2 additional employees that were standing around in the back not helping and eventually walked to the front counter area, one on his cell phone while he was at the register. They both got drinks and left the restaurant. I would also like to add--there was not a single clean table in the lobby and the restaurant was not busy. I remember having to help wipe tables before I left. I sat in the lobby cleaning off a table with a wad of napkins and water because I wanted to eat and leave without any further interaction with the counter staff. Timers were incessantly going off with no one turning them off--finally a manager yelled in the back to turn the timers off. This restaurant needs some serious work. They need to build employee morale, get management staff that can relate to and guide teenage workers--learn how a fast food establishment runs and at the very least to keep their restaurant clean--the final straw--the sweet tea was even bad--i dumped it in the grass when I left the restaurant. read more

I'm convinced this is the worst McDonalds on the planet. Always dirty, always overly crowded lines because of slow customer service and poor management, always cold food, and just awful. Had a big spider fall down in front of my face as I was placing an order at the counter. The girl at the register ignored it. I asked her if she was gonna do anything about it so what does she do? Without a word, walks out to the front where I'm standing, knocks it on the floor, and steps on it. A couple weeks later I go into breakfast. The old men in the dining room drinking coffee are laughing at the two mice running around on he floor. Management do does nothing. Amazing how this place doesn't get closed by the health department. This place is gross!! First, It's the slowest McDonald's I've ever been to. I back out of the 15 min wait in drive thru and go inside. Mistake. 15 min more wait (while employees sing and chat to each other) for a caramel macchiato that has no coffee in it. It's very dirty inside and the place was nearly empty at peak meal time. I just went thru the drive thru this morning and remembered why I quit going there. I use to go there every morning for years until I started getting bad tea and the current manager...Miss Doll, got ignorant with me when I told her my sweet tea wasn't sweet for the umpteenth time. They were never consistent with the making of it. So I quit going..until this morning I thought I would try it again....got another cup of sweet tea and once again it wasn't. So I told Charlie, the new manager I think, and he said very snarky " well are you sure?" I said yes and he went on and got me another one but with a hateful attitude when I said thank you he blatantly ignore me! So once again I'll never go there again and this time I mean it! This is literally one of the most disgusting McDonald's locations I've ever set foot in. The bathrooms are falling apart - literally. There is no cover on the toilet paper rolls, no paper towels to dry hands, the air dryer doesn't work, they are out of ice at the self serve drink station, the trash cans are too full to empty trays into... just awful. The employees are rude, use zero manners, and are all around unpleasant to deal with. For the love of goodness, someone else needs to buy this franchise and stop employing the ghetto of reisterstown. read more

I moved to Eldersburg in 1982. There was a fairly new McDonald's at that time. It was new, neat, clean and friendly. Nowadays it's run down, dirty and unfriendly. Do not go through the drive through. Especially if you drive a pickup truck. It's sooo tight. There's a pole by the first window that so many of hit. You can see all the different colors of paint on it. I know, because my daughter was one of them. Smh. Your order will be wrong probably 99% of the time. Fries are always cold and I'm convinced they never clean the lines to the soda machines. Our drinks taste like syrup, with no carbonation. I've suggested a cleaning to them but to no avail. Order your kid's meal for a girl if you want a boys toy and vice versa. Honestly it works. Idk why but it just does. I think they don't bother to listen, just throw any toy in there. The drive-thru is full of pot holes so you'd have to drive through slowly anyway. It's always nice too when the delivery truck is backed in and unloading because the entire back door area is covered with empty boxes and whatever. It's so messy. Almost feel as if I'm pulling up to a dumpster to receive my food. The parking lot pot holes have been patched probably 50x and as soon as the weather turns cold, you'll have to endure the same pot holes over and over again until the 51st time. Please somebody explain to me why they have not remodeled this McDonald's. The new center across the street is pretty. Bank of America has recently remodeled. The center where J&P Pizza is recently redone and looks nice. All around looks nice and THEN...there sits the old McDonald's from the late 1980s. I will have to say it received a "makeover" somewhere around the late '80s. Until it's remodeled...or torn down, my family and I will no longer pay a visit. The food is awful and the place is dirty.
