Overall, the qualities usually pretty damn good and I go often, but there has to be one person in there that is so lazy and half ass everything. Since I moved to tower rd. I've been a customer here for 2yrs. Today I used the app and it's buy 1 n get 1 for .29 hot cakes. So I ordered hotcakes n sausage so I can get the other 1 for .29. Instead they charged me 2 hotcakes and a sausage on the side that cost $2.79 so I end up paying $9.36. So I asked the manager if she can double check my order and charge me for the hotcakes and sausage meal so I don't pay the xtra $2.79 for the sausage. Instead she was getting mad and irritated smh. By far the worst McDonald's I've ever been too. Food is the same as any one but be prepared to wait. There's have been several occasions that I've been sitting in the drive thru line with like 3 people in front of me for upwards of 20 minutes. Today at around 10 o'clock I was sitting at the speaker for 15 minutes with no one in line on the speaker or at the window. I bailed. If you do make it to the window the staff is constantly rude. Holy sh*tshow! The ordering process through the APP was the only smooth experience at this location. My order was ready for 10 min before they actually took the time to come over to see their front P.O.S machines and the line of online and kiosk orders that were running out of patience waiting for. They somehow managed to show up real quick when a GrubHub order came in which was the only way we ended up getting our orders finally, but it was absolutely ridiculous. My kids' food was cold and my son's slushy was half flat soda by that point. Also, not a good experience for kids or people with a sensitive mentality, as the entire front area was packed with disgruntled guests who were less than polite to me and my children as we were trying to get through to the play place. This McDonald's has the worst service nd is the most dangerous Mcdonalds location I have ever ever experienced in my 28 years of living. The lady at the 2nd window denied my order and called the police on me, according to her as she talked on the phone, because my race had something to do with it. She, as an employee, also had responsibility in the situation of a racist customer pulling a pistol out on me during her rage. She cursed me out yelled all kinds of profanities at me. Ultimately I had to called the police for my own safety and have filed a report about the entire situation. Now I'm currently awaiting the case to begin in order to testify for the endangerment of my life. I would avoid this location by any means - it's far too unstable, dangerous and unprofessional. Denver clearly has a lot of issues involving violence. The only professionalism I received from thus location was from the manager who was on break at the time , but came and apologized to me for the incident after he was informed of what happened. He was a great guy but I still have to submit this review, well, because this was my experience. Hopefully he fires that woman to prevent anymore horrific situations like this, because she handled the situation 100% disastrously. read more

Hugely pissed at the powers that be in McDonalds Denver right now. I stopped in at the McDonalds at I70 & Peoria, which is close to work. Imagine my surprise to order my usual and find out that overnight they have raised the price of a large Coke for $1.00 to $1.69. That may not sound like much, but it's 69% increase- that's more than they ought to be raising prices in 10 YEARS!! The manager on duty was concerned, but when the store manager heard, she just said that the way it is. The rating for this McDonald's is spot on. They maybe get 3 out of 5 of our orders correct. Mainly because the person they have working the drive-thru doesn't understand us or can't work the POS. You're probably fine if you keep it simple and say, "#1, large Coke." Beyond that, if you have any special requests, you're screwed. Today what should have been a quick 2-3 minute stop in an off/non-busy time ended up being over 15, with no food. Only two cars ahead of me, figured I had plenty of time. Ordered, she repeated it back correctly through the speaker (screen was off) AND again when I pulled up to the window to pay. While waiting for the next window I read my receipt to find she put the order in totally wrong! Not sure how that's possible when she repeated it back to me TWICE. As I wait, I can see that they screwed up BOTH orders in front of me because it took well over ten minutes and both cars kept passing bags back and forth through the window. When I finally pull up to explain their mistake, I'm met with yet another employee that can't understand me, she had to get the manager. The manager asked me to wait for a minute, which I did - she came back and asked if I could pull over "while they figure out what happened to my order." I said no because I was out of time and asked for my money back. Left hungry with no time to stop someplace else in between appointments. Also - I would bet this location is one of the biggest money making McDonald's in Denver. Yet they never staff people to clean the parking lot, let alone keep it safe. McDonalds on E Leetsdale Avenue before S Monaco Parkway Denver I asked specifically for an #1 egg mcmuffin meal NO BACON and a 2nd one for $1 from the $1 menu - despite the advertised $5deal that is NOT for lunch it wasn't posted in the drive through. Not only were the two Egg McMuffins put in the bag with BACON on both of the them she tried to charge me $14 when clearly the meal is $7.59 and the second EggMcMuffin was supposed to be a dollar. Cashier adjusted the bill for me. This is NOT the first time the NO MEAT order has been screwed up giving only 1 sauce for a 20 piece nugget and clearly asking for sweet and sour and they put BBQ in the bag. I had the absolute worst day at work and I went to this location to get some food. I was at the pay area in the drive thru nobody was there. A man passed the window with his backpack and coat (looked like he was on his way out) but stopped and took my card to pay. He complimented my hair and told me I was beautiful in the most nice respectful way possible and I told him how much I appreciated him for letting me pay even though he was most likely clocked out leaving for the night. The woman who handed my food was so kind and had cool sparkly eyeshadow. Wish I got their names but they really made the end to a bad day great and I hope they know how much it meant to me! Wish I could rate ZERO stars. I knew as soon as I finished my spicy chicken sandwich last night something wasnt right. In fact i knew halfway through the thing. But I hadn't eaten all day and just needed something little to get by and get home. Went home went to bed shortly after, as it was a long work day for me. Just nasty and dirty. Drove up to the drive-through. Waited for someone to recognize me. Since this location has dual drive-through lanes, another car pulled in. That car was helped first. I called to speak with a manager. Since he didn't like what I said, he placed me on an indefinite hold. And then hung up the phone. When I called back I received a female manager. I've been traveling around with my family in the area with my niece. We first ran to the bathroom because travel with a 4 year old that always seems to be the first thing. The manager let us in the problem. Then we came up to order qhitch we did thru the touch screen. That same manager came up and made sure we were doing well amd kept asking us how we were doing and going out of his way to take care of us. I had forgotten to add a pie for my girlfriend and asked quickly if I could add it on and pay for it as soon as I could. He gave it to me free of charge Eben when I asked if he was sure. If I can rate this McDonald's a NEGATIVE rating, I WOULD !!! We are here in Denver for a week for my daughter's softball tournament. After a long day at the field, food options at 10:00pm are scarce. Nothing is open this late to get a quick meal..... Waited in drive-thru order window for over 15 minutes. And then waited for another 20 minutes to pick up our order. When we got back to the hotel, our order was incorrect and prepared very messy. We ordered 2 Quarter Pounders. One with cheese, the other without cheese. We received a 2-patty Quarter Pounder with cheese but no pickles and no onions. And the other Quarter Pounder was broken into 5 different pieces, pieced together to form a patty, no pickles, thickly chopped onions, and with cheese (ordered without cheese). I don't eat McDonald's much but when I do, the quality and preparation of the food is pretty much consistent to what a McDonald's would be. And I am fine with that ..... BUT this location, the employees took no pride in taking our order with a smile (they seemed angry) as well as preparing our order correctly. read more
