Okay. I tried giving this place the benefit of the doubt because. Well. It's a McDonald's. You expect bad food. But oh my god. I attempted to come here 5 times within the past 2 months and these are my experiences 1. Incompetent staff - I have attempted to order the same item 5 times. A Delux chicken sandwich. Which I have been provided with a burger. A spicy chicken sandwich. A whopper. And nuggets. 2. Dirty staff - as I am sitting in line there is a lady smoking and spitting and genuinely making me feel unsure about even eating here. Next thing I know she is the person giving me my meal. Cool. Great. Threw it out. Have some respect for your work area and how you present yourself please. 3 - with all the above. There is a in and out down the street and a pretty good Greek burger place. Ugh usually this place is okay.. there's been a few times where something goes wrong. I love the apple pie and look forward to having it when I decide to come around but they gave me a cherry pie today! It's not such a big deal but with these prices now, I couldn't be less than upset. The apple pie and mocha frappe is what I mainly come to McDonald's for. The mocha frappe is a hit or miss, sometimes it's good and sometimes it's really watery. If I could give 0 stars I would. Go to the one off of Lincoln or norco....Any McDonald's but this one. I waited on the sidelines for 20 min and it turns out they forgot about me. They forgot about one of my orders and I asked them for it to be complimentary because I had to wait and she said no. I asked to speak to a manager and she said they weren't available. Because I had my kids in the car, I decided to leave. I don't expect McDonald's to have the best service but I come here for the convenience. I wish I could give this location ZERO or Negative stars. I went again today. I know it was a stupid move, especially seeing HOW SLOW they were this morning. I ordered a happy meal for my kid. I pay for it, the kid hands me my card back and says, would you like a receipt? I said no thank you and moved on. I get to the window to pick up my food and the girl at the window asks me to pay. I tell her I paid at the window already and she says, the card was declined. They why in the world would the guy ask me if I wanted my receipt and say, have a great day? After some back and forth about this the manager (I assume) said that he made a mistake and she was sorry. AGAIN?! This is EVERY SINGLE TIME. Every time I go here there is an issue. Good being left out, food being tossed into the bag, and now the cashier couldn't even read his screen properly. The best part was that he told the manager that I used a 'gift card'. He didn't even know what type of payment I was using. The 'manager' assured me that she was working on improving the location's customer service. I worked in retail and the food service industry for years. The lack of customer service here (and in general) is just plain horrendous and it's sad. Don't go here even if it is convenient unless you want your food throw haphazardly into your bag (if it even makes it in there). I for one will not be going back to this location ever. I came here to pick up my eldest at his dad's house in Corona. Upon arrival, I ordered iced tea with lemons and french fries. Once at the cashier drive thru, Joshua informed me that they didn't have lemons. He asked in place of it, "what can I get you instead"? I told him, "it's okay I will just keep what you gave me (I am sure he could see I was disappointed). Immediately he acted upon my facial expression and said, "could you park around the corner and let me get this for you". A few minutes later, he brought me my iced tea with lemons. He explained he found some lemons and cut they cut them up, further he asked if I could taste me iced tea because he wanted to make sure I got what I ordered? I did and felt hesitant to tell him, "it's sweat tea but..." he continued, "I had a hunch it might be sweet they gave me which is why I needed you to double check". He ran back and returned with my unsweetened iced tea with 2 lemons. If this isn't great customer service, I am not sure what is because this kiddo didn't have to do all that but he did. If I could give 0 stars I would.. We came to this location to use our app and order a happy meal. We pulled up the deal of the day with $2 off the meal. The cashier would not allow us to use it because she said it was expired, but it expired today. On top of that, we were charged for a chicken sandwich that we never ordered. Luckily we caught that on the receipt and she gave us our money back. I would not recommend this location to anyone. I used to love this McDonald's. I feel like the line was always moving, the staff was always super quick to get people in and out. up until a month ago, this was our go to McDonald's. All of the staff is very slow now. The drive through is at least a 15 minute wait now. At the least, and the staff is very rude. The food was always good quality and served super fast. It's been dirtier and I feel like things are definitely going downhill for this location. Hopefully this location realizes what went wrong between now and a month or two ago. And Corona this Hass to be the only location that offers a human, with a smile to help you with your order. These people are amazing and the service was great as well as the food. Like I said, with pricing, extremely high for the quality food, so I use digital coupons. To maximize my money me and my boys order separately. These people took our orders and gave us excellent service. We were not discriminated for trying to save a few dollars!!!!!! The place looks very clean and organized. This McDonalds is one of the biggest disgrace that I've ever experienced at a fast food franchise. My husband and I stopped by about 9:30 p.m. to get a filet-o-fish with light sauce and no cheese. Now everybody knows that the filet-o-fish is the softest bun in the industry of fast food and the filet-o-fish is always piping hot and heated to perfection but not tonight! We got our sandwiches all the way home and we were choking on the stale bread and hard fish patty! To say the least; we had to get back in our car and drive it back to get a refund because it was too late to get fresh sandwiches. Quality food service should include fresh and appetizing food up to your last customer or just say you do not have anymore filet-o-fish...there should be a standard. I just don't understand. I have ordered so many times through DOORDASH at this location and every single time it has been cancelled. First of all, i live near this location so I have been their customer for about an year. The food quality is not stable. Sometimes they did good but sometimes nah. Anyway, this time I decided to write a review for this specific restaurant to share my interesting experience. At around 8:20pm I drove thru and ordered a Quarter pounder Deluxe meal with large fries, and the 10 piece. However, they gave me a Big Mac meal by mistake. They discovered the mistake first, and then I tried to hand in the bag with the Big Mac meal to them and hope they could keep the Big Mac and give me a quarter pounder deluxe instead. However, they wanted me to keep it. I understood that they were not supposed to retrieve food that has been possessed by others, not to speak of the pandemic. Nonetheless, what surprised me is that not only they gave me the Quarter pounder that I ordered, they also made me an extra large fries with extra 10 pieces of nuggets. Which means, at the end of the day I got a free Big Mac meal with a 10 piece. That employee who took my order suggested me to give the extra food to someone who might need it like homeless people. And then I decided to do so. Right after I took off, I noticed a girl sitting outside on the ground, leaning against the wall of the McDonald's building. I stopped by and asked if she want some food or not. At this moment, I noticed the M logo on her shirt and then I realized she was an employee but not a homeless... She said no and then I drove away. Without seeing any homeless on my way home, I shared the extra food with my family. The food quality this time is just fine. Overall, this place is not as bad as other reviewers suggested. You know, most of the time, people would write reviews and share it only if they wanted to complain about their bad experience, but people rarely write positive reviews cuz it takes time and there are basically no incentives that motivates them to do so.
