If you would like to visit the worst ever McDonald's in America, this is your place. $9.97 for an egg McMuffin meal. They up charged me for a coffee which is supposed to be included with the meal and the help at the cash register taking orders could not understand or speak English. Five people were hustling and working very hard and yet the whole wait area was filled with people as well as the drive in. I ordered a McChicken, Medium Fry, Medium Coke which has been around $7.50. Which is high! What I was charged was 2 McChicken @3.99, Medium Fry, Medium Coke for a outrageous price of $11.00? Asked for the General Manager, and a Spanish male approached me telling me that he was the manager (without a nametag) told him I only order 1 McChicken and told me that he could not refund my Money for the 2 McChicken since it was a special deal. What? I, then asked for a Full Refund of the order, asked for the licenses name and number which he then refused to give to me????????????? This is the 3rd time in a year that management does not apologue to the customer! He was yelling at the employee at the front counter in front of me, all the while he was attempting to process my refund. I believe that this Licensees needs to hear from the Consumer Affairs Department, Fire Marshal, Health Department. The worst McDonald's in CT. I live 2 minutes away from Clinton McDonald's and drive all the way to Guilford McDonald's just to avoid going to Clinton. They make you wait, but still give you cold, and day old food. Everything is hard, cold, sloppy and tough. Nothing is fresh. I work in the restaurant business and have worked through covid, and I know everyone is trying their hardest but this McDonald's NEEDS their management team to step in before they have to close down. The night shift is even worse than the day shift. I don't know why I even attempted to try Clinton again, definitely my last. Hopefully they can fix their issues. read more

When I finally got my order they forgot 2 items, I went up with the receipt to tell them they did not give me two things and they caught an attitude and attempted to argue with me. Busy spot on Main Street. Nicely done. Food is well prepared. Decor is fresh and colorful. Seating is convenient and comfortable. Drink area and bathroom could have been cleaner, but might have been factor of how busy the place was. Playland is joined seamlessly into front of restaurant but avoidable if kids aren't your thing. Wood panels and landscape murals are calming. Wifi works. AC keeps you cool. Subway and a pizza place nearby if McDs doesn't suit you. read more

This location is in the middle of nowhere and took us quite some time to get to after we got off on the exit in the middle of our road trip. However, they have a 24 hour drive thru and they graciously let us use their bathroom even though they were closed. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and the food tasted fresh. I am so done with this McDonalds. For the last 4 months whenever I go there I get to the window and then I get asked to park my car at the parking spot ahead - Which, BTW, is packed with other cars already also parked waiting for their food. It never fails. Go to this McDonalds, you get parked, no MATTER THE TIME. Any time I place an order on Doordash, you can bet that 2 out of 5 times, they screw it up some way. Maybe it's the driver.. I could forgive this, but the fact of the matter is that when Doordash or myself tried to call them, it just rang out. I kept trying and trying and at some point you can tell they just were hanging up the call after two or three rings. HORRIBLE. Get new management, new staff and some training. This was thee MOST professional McDonald's I have EVER been to in my ENTIRE life. From the minute I walked in I was greeted politely. My foreign family was able to order with ease with a bilingual cashier there. Every single person behind the counters were working efficiently and effectively. Drive thru was backed around the building at 330p on Sunday afternoon so I went inside. The bathroom, not cleaned since 10a as per the signin sheet, was filthy. Line inside manned by a few teenage kids was long and chaotic so I braved the drive thru. Finally made it to the menu selection are and they had a horrible selection of value items. So I picked something else and ordered coffee. Despite them offering breakfast all day, I was told they needed to make another pot of coffee and it would be an additional 10min. I'd already committed 30min of my day, so I cancelled my order and gave my business to Dunkin Donuts. read more

What is the point of having a dollar menu? The only thing you can get for a dollar is a small ice cream cone or a parfait. Even a plain cheeseburger costs $1.49 now. You can't tell me McDonald's cheap ingredients have gotten that expensive, a double cheeseburger used to be on the dollar menu, now it's $1.89.
