Don't recommend this location. First, at least there's a playground for kids to play at so they can have fun. But the last time I went here, they took forever to give us our food. We saw our food was done, but they were looking for us, yet didn't find us. 5 minutes later, they FINALLY see us and fries and chicken nuggets were cold, and it passed 15 minutes already! Asked for the General Manager, and a Spanish male approached me telling me that he was the manager (without a nametag) told him I only order 1 McChicken and told me that he could not refund my Money for the 2 McChicken since it was a special deal. What? I, then asked for a Full Refund of the order, asked for the licenses name and number which he then refused to give to me????????????? This is the 3rd time in a year that management does not apologue to the customer! He was yelling at the employee at the front counter in front of me, all the while he was attempting to process my refund. The worst McDonald's in CT. I live 2 minutes away from Clinton McDonald's and drive all the way to Guilford McDonald's just to avoid going to Clinton. They make you wait, but still give you cold, and day old food. Everything is hard, cold, sloppy and tough. Nothing is fresh. I work in the restaurant business and have worked through covid, and I know everyone is trying their hardest but this McDonald's NEEDS their management team to step in before they have to close down. The night shift is even worse than the day shift. I don't know why I even attempted to try Clinton again, definitely my last. Hopefully they can fix their issues. read more

Busy spot on Main Street. Nicely done. Food is well prepared. Decor is fresh and colorful. Seating is convenient and comfortable. Drink area and bathroom could have been cleaner, but might have been factor of how busy the place was. Playland is joined seamlessly into front of restaurant but avoidable if kids aren't your thing. Wood panels and landscape murals are calming. Wifi works. AC keeps you cool. Subway and a pizza place nearby if McDs doesn't suit you. read more

This location is in the middle of nowhere and took us quite some time to get to after we got off on the exit in the middle of our road trip. However, they have a 24 hour drive thru and they graciously let us use their bathroom even though they were closed. The strawberry lemonade was delicious and the food tasted fresh. For the last 4 months whenever I go there I get to the window and then I get asked to park my car at the parking spot ahead - Which, BTW, is packed with other cars already also parked waiting for their food. This was thee MOST professional McDonald's I have EVER been to in my ENTIRE life. From the minute I walked in I was greeted politely. My foreign family was able to order with ease with a bilingual cashier there. Every single person behind the counters were working efficiently and effectively. Drive thru was backed around the building at 330p on Sunday afternoon so I went inside. The bathroom, not cleaned since 10a as per the signin sheet, was filthy. Line inside manned by a few teenage kids was long and chaotic so I braved the drive thru. Finally made it to the menu selection are and they had a horrible selection of value items. So I picked something else and ordered coffee. Despite them offering breakfast all day, I was told they needed to make another pot of coffee and it would be an additional 10min.
