As Im older now and retired, I generally dont do too much fast food anymore but the golden arches were calling my name today, and boy, Im SO glad I went! I walked in as I wanted to enjoy my food in comfort. The counter service man was a hustling and very patient young man named Nate whom waited upon an elderly lady and assisted with her with a very involved special order with the patience of a saint! He even carried her tray to her table. When it was my turn I told him it was a treat so I elected for the double quarter pounder with cheese meal with an extra large vanilla shake. Hey, when in Rome, right!? I asked him for fresh, out of the fryer French fries and he smiled and said "no problem". My rare lunch treat was above and beyond my expectations. The burger was juicy, tasty and incredible. The fries? I was munching them down before I even started on the burger! The service was extraordinary stellar, Nate is an excellent, hardworking employee and he absolutely deserves employee of the month in my book. One of the best lunches that I've had in months. I do not usually comment on a fast food place But today we stopped in for something quick.. Might be the best McDonalds experience ever. The place was spotless ,bathrooms clean, service was perfect...we ate in ..got a number sat down and were brought our food in no time. While we were there the manager was having the tables cleaned above and under ..spotless ...the manager was on top of EVERYTHING going on Was very impressed. The McDonalds in Clinton, NJ is without a doubt the worst I've ever been to. Time and time again they make mistakes on the my very simple order. Add to that, they play bait and switch... you pull up to the window, place your order and pay for it.. then you drive to the pick up window where they tell you pull over to a parking spot where you're forced to wait another 10 mins for your food. read more

This is seriously the worst McDonald's. Unfortunately its the only fast food in the area so you have to settle for it. I have complaints on everything for this place. Old fries that are cold and taste like garbage and are completely covered in salt (it had to be the first batch of the day because we went right at 11 when lunch starts so there is no excuse for crappy fries). They charge you for sauce but don't put it in the bag. Today they didn't give us straws for our drinks. I paid extra for two toppings in the McFlurry, they barely put ANY at all. There was maybe a drop of Oreo and 10 m&ms in the whole thing. I took one of the surveys and about 2 weeks later i got an email from the manager saying she "tried" to contact me yet i got no previous contact from her. All around disappointment. Recently renovated. Nice upgrade. Includes ordering kiosks so you don't have to stand in line. They have a 'take a number' system so you can sit & they'll bring your food to you which is convenient AND doesn't clog up the ordering counter. Staff is friendly enough. Food fresh. Prices are average but this particular one doesn't have special offers you can find at other McD's. Bathrooms were revamped but only cosmetically...it's still too small for the size of the place. read more

The last four times I have gone to this McDonald's they have gotten my order incorrect in some sort of way. I even have made it a habit of repeating my order to assist them in getting it right and that has not helped. Very nicely renovated McDonalds. Looks amazing - they've even remodeled their restrooms which are so clean and shiny. Have visited multiple times for a quick stop and this place is always very busy. But the service always has been quick. Now they have put the self-ordering kiosks also. I stood in line to order at their counter. After ordering they gave a number to be placed at table and the food was brought to us. Tried multiple options this time their yogurt with granola, fries, tea, chicken mcnuggets, grilled chicken - food was served warm and fast, taste wise is like standard fast food. Food is usually fine but service IS SLLLOOWWWWW. I waited in the drive thru for 20 mins just to order. We left after that and never ordered. We saw five other cars do that in the 20 mins we waited. That's honestly unacceptable for fast food. I think the addition of the two lanes makes it worse. There is an illusion that it will be quicker and it isnt. At all. Management needs to do something about this. I know they count on the location and it's highway ease, but constant bad reviews will hurt eventually. This review is for the new Quarter Pounder only. With MCD sales dropping and the food getting a bad reputation, it looks like they decided to revamp some stuff. I ordered my QP at the drive thru as I've done thousands of times before. Opening the box, I noticed the edges looked different. Sort of like a actual hamburger off the griddle. The bun was firm and not squashed. So far so good. I took off the top bun to check the onion level (I like a few onions but not too many) and picked off a few onions. Good to go. Biting into the burger, I actually tasted beef! Also had a little charring around the edges. Bottom line, MCD's QP is a solid entry into the crowded burger market. It's a solid fast food burger and (dare I say it) is better than Wendy's or BK and can hold it's own against Shake Shack, Sonic and the rest. Do yourself a favor and give McDonalds another chance when you gotta have a burger. read more

The restrooms are clean as well!! We arrived with a greeter at the door with a friendly hello and welcome! In my mind I'm going are we at the Chick fil A? We both ordered at this cool self ordering system. Yes we were both mesmerized and ordered more than we should. I was impressed that everyone working had a smile on their face and was eager to serve. After ordering all we had to do was take a number and place it on our table and someone brought food to us. Overall our food was McDonalds....so so.. This is straight up the only McDonald's that doesn't serve hash browns for their all day breakfast.

Clean and the food is always served hot. Unfortunately the service is painfully slow. It's not unusual to see 5-10 people waiting for their orders to be ready. If you're in a hurry and want to grab something, you may want to go somewhere else. read more

Owner seems to have no problem cutting into the drive-thru line, holding up paying customers while he picks up food for himself while chatting with employees, then being rude and dismissive when confronted by the customer he cut in front of.
