My wife had a chicken Saltumbucco dish & I had a seared salmon fillet in a bed of steamed spinach and lemons wine reduction bed of rice. Afterwards, I had a cappuccino. My wife abstained. The food was great. Very flavorful. The cappuccino was one of the better ones I have had. Thick foam with a hint of cinnamon and a flavorful espresso and milk. Prices when i first started going was about $10 got a breakfast sandwich, 3 bagels and a coffee; now it's closer to $15. Service is what you expect in a loud, busy, crowded and most of the time - Hot (the ovens are 12 feet from you) place. You need to speak up when they ask "who's next" but they're attentive and write down your order; in 12 years of coming here, the only time they messed up my order (they put cheese when I said no cheese) they gave me the extra sandwich and told me to give it away to someone. I used to work at a bagel shop and the amount of food we'd throw away because of a screwed up order would tear my heart open; at least Muheisen's doesn't do this. The cafe also has a number of yummy desserts displayed in the case that are great to-go. GfL also offers a "Meal Prep" option where you can order food on a weekly or monthly basis.
