The moment you walk in, you are welcomed by a warm and intimate atmosphere that feels genuinely Italian, more like being invited into someone's home than visiting a restaurant. The food is exceptional, fresh, full of flavor, and made to order with obvious care. The husband and wife team prepares everything with such personal attention, and her homemade desserts are truly something special. Do not leave without trying one. This charming little spot has definitely earned a place on our list of places to return to. If you are looking for delicious Italian food served with heart, this is absolutely the place to go.

Food took an hour to be served. Only 1 person cooking and 1 person serving and handling all the take out orders. Everything was served in plastic takeout containers and cheap paper plates. Our bill was around $240 plus tip for 4 people for appetizers and dinner. It's BYOB. For this price point we should not be eating on plastic and buying bottled water. Arancini balls were good. Herb crusted salmon was plain in a pool of something. Pizza was not good. They really need to have china and glasses and more help on service. Service was disorganized and food was disappointing.

Galasso's Cucina Italiana - Great bake on the crust. Substantial and crispy. Carries a heavy load with no problem. Outstanding.

Well, let me tell you; you should be driving 45 minutes to get out here for this pizza. Just incredible. I have now been to 57 pizza places in greater NJ (including 26 in NYC) in search of the best pizza in the world (let's face it, if it's the best in NJ it is obviously the best in the world) and this place cracks the top 10. Easily. With room to spare. I got the Brooklyn which, by my definition, is actually a Grandma's. Crust isn't nearly as thick as what I'd expect from a Brooklyn. Regardless, it is mind-blowingly delicious. The crust is super crispy and has a hint of salt. It holds up well without being tough. And that's good because it has a generous amount of excellent cheese which is then topped with an abundance of spectacular sauce. It is thick but not chunky. It has an amazing tomato flavor and is not bogged down with overwhelming amounts of herbs, which most places overload to pretend to bring the flavor. It was served piping hot so I had to wait a while to enjoy, which was difficult. They cut the pieces big but trust me, you won't complain. It's hard to stop eating. So I don't care if they call it Brooklyn. If it tastes like this they can call it whatever they want. I'm am so amazed and grateful to have found such a spectacular pizza place way out in the hinterlands. Just perfection. I am hard to please and this place took my breath away. I sound like I'm getting carried away but it is just that good.
