Very, very average. The regular pizza had some very serious flop - almost doubled-over. The grandma's was much breadier than I am used to. Way to bready. Having said that, the flavor on both was very good. The sauce was just a hint sweet and the cheese had a nice flavor to it. If they just got the crust right, they would have something there. Good enough if you lived around the corner but wouldn't drive a long way to get there. read more

Amazing pizza!!! Great food period that's what these reviews should be about. Shouldn't they? You care about a worthless mask THEN ORDER TAKEOUT YOU LOSERS AKA the schmucks ruining a good businesses reputation because you're sheep. Look now masks don't matter and you're worthless as of today 5-28-2021 just like the mask you want other people to wear. I ordered the Margarita pizza and it was good. The pizza had a nice balance between the sauce, cheese, and basil. Other places don't have that balance, either the pizza had too much sauce and not enough cheese and vice versa. The service was really good. Like what other reviewers said, however, the staff didn't wear masks. Although it is concerning they didn't wear masks, I don't think it was frightening that they didn't wear them. I'm sure if they had COVID, they would not have worked there. Overall, I recommend this place and will come back. Next time, I'll order some subs. read more

I've eaten here twice. The cheesesteak is amazing. And so is the cheesesteak pizza! I don't know how they do it. Its thick and delicious and cheesey but the crust stays nice and crispy. I can't believe it doesn't fold from the weight. Very good. read more

Use to get food from here often. Went in there once Covid started and no one was wearing a mask. Not only were they not wearing it but making fun of people who do. I don't care if you don't want to wear a mask outside of the job, I don't agree but that's your choice, but when you are working in a cramped kitchen with food it's is absolutely disgusting to not wear a mask. If they do decide to wear mask while making food I would definitely get food from here again but until then it's a no for me. read more

This is hands down the pest place in town!! I've lived here 27 years and they never disappoint. They have the BEST cheesesteaks and pizza I've ever had. Their chicken cheesesteak with onions and mushrooms is my favorite. The bread is fresh, not too greasy, flavorful and filling. I never finish a small. The family is polite and accommodating. Give yourself ample time when ordering Friday and Saturday. read more

*EMPLOYEES DONT WEAR MASKS* This place was recommended by a local since I'm new to the area. I genuinely like the pizza and I'm sure the other food is great as well. The service has never been a problem. However, since the pandemic started I've been very off-put by the lack of mask wearing by all staff. I mean really? You're in close quarters in a kitchen breathing on people's food, how have you gotten away with this for months now? All they have is a safety shield up at the register. I won't be going back until all of this is over or they actually follow the state mask mandate. read more

You need to speak up when they ask "who's next" but they're attentive and write down your order; in 12 years of coming here, the only time they messed up my order (they put cheese when I said no cheese) they gave me the extra sandwich and told me to give it away to someone. I used to work at a bagel shop and the amount of food we'd throw away because of a screwed up order would tear my heart open; at least Muheisen's doesn't do this. Had a fresh pie made. Great crust thin, like a cross between NY style and cracker wafer thin, no flop, airy firm. The sauce is just as it was, not as acidic like others in the area which is what we like. Quality cheese. Price is better than others in the Hackettstown, Washington area too. Our old go-to is back closer again!

The garlic knots were cooked to perfection, the plain pie was cheesy with a nice firm but not overcooked crust. We also ordered a buffalo chicken pie which could have used some more chicken but was still delicious. Lastly, we ordered a half Hawaiian and half peppers and onions pie which also was cooked to perfection. This is the first time we ordered pick up from here and I will say we'll definitely be going back! A lot better than a lot of other Franks Pizza chains I've been to.

The sauce had a pretty good tang and the cheese was a good, standard cheese. The cheese had just a little bit of herbs in it, which is not my favorite, but it was not overwhelming at all. It is nice to find a pretty good slice on a nice small town street in the hinterlands.

Wasn't sure how many people we'd be, but the place looked big enough. It wasn't. Not for the crowds of people stuffing Cryan's on Saturday night, drinking at the bar, eating at the tables. Clinton doesn't have as many people as Cryan's did that night. Incredible. So we put our party down to a 40-minute wait. Time went on, a few people left, a few drinks happened, and finally the rest of us got a table together. Minus for service - the waitstaff was not very friendly to our group; granted, we were forced to stand due to lack of seating, but they didn't give us any helpful tips or any sympathy. Drinks were just "are you ready?" and then handed out. Food experience went a little bit better. The food itself was fine, mostly because none of us ordered pizza. It's bar pies here - super-thin crust, comes out crispy, which may be your thing but it's not mine. The onion rings look fantastic - huge, but with a lot of breading, and I didn't have enough of an appetite to down that by myself. I ended up on the Baslick Burger, ordered rare, and it actually came out pleasantly close to rare. Other people's came out to their order as well (medium and well, one with a subbed side). Nothing spectacular, but nothing bad. Same for the fries. All in all? It was an experience. But not one to walk into blind. Maybe if I was local I'd go on a low-volume night, otherwise I'll stick to some less crowded vibes.

Store brand frozen pizza crust. At least they took the cardboard off the bottom. I think, anyway. Hard to tell.

I spent over $75 for pizza. We got delivery. The pizza was burned. The cheese was stuck to the top…read moreof the box. Out of 8 slices, 4 were edible. The Sicilian was all crust. Even the regular pies were almost burned. They tasted terrible. That was my 1st experience here and it will be my last. The plastic things that they put between the pizza and the box were not there. Then l found them, melted in the pizza (sicilian). Horrible experience....and the pizza was delivered 35 minutes late. Needless to say l will never spend one cent here again.
