Stopped in to quickly pick up some pizza for the family and was immediately impressed with how clean the facility was. Picked up the order for home and everything was correct! The garlic knots were cooked to perfection, the plain pie was cheesy with a nice firm but not overcooked crust. We also ordered a buffalo chicken pie which could have used some more chicken but was still delicious. Lastly, we ordered a half Hawaiian and half peppers and onions pie which also was cooked to perfection. This is the first time we ordered pick up from here and I will say we'll definitely be going back! A lot better than a lot of other Franks Pizza chains I've been to. read more

Second time I've had this waitress this time was something else it ended up to her telling me that she was the boss and I shouldn't tell her to take something off the bill. I want an extra onions on my pizza instead of complaining about it. I just wanna eat my pizza had about half of it left And I told her that I would like the extra onions taken off the bill because they were not there. She said she could not do that which proceeded into a long winded discussion because she didn't want me to tell her what to do basically although I did not get the extra onions. And she said that I need to find another restaurant if she didn't like her pizza and that I hate that lemonade that really did taste like swamp water with lemon in it. It was horrible. So I think her problem was she didn't like because I told her that I was wrong with eliminated. I wanted something else and I got a lemonade out of the bottle in the cooler . Sorry this is long and she said she complained about the lemonade last time you complained about the peppers I did not complain about the peppers last time. I said I didn't want the green peppers they could put roasted peppers on they put the green ones on anyway and instead of complaining then I just picked the peppers off and take the pizza and she said she was sorry and I said that's fine. I even gave her a decent tip and this time it was something else. She had a case of the ass I think,This was a very good restaurant. I don't know what happened if it exchanged ownership, but the waitress that I had I got the impression she didn't like me from the first time I had her about two weeks before this time that I went, she remembered me and I thought that was nice, but that wasn't the case. The lady had a couple booths away, couldn't believe when she was talking to me! She came back to me. She was gonna give me half off of the onions. I said that's fine. That's what you can do. That's fine. She told me never to come back here again. I said you won't have to worry about that. I'll never come back here again, and I will make sure everybody knows how I was treated today And I also will make sure I get my money for my onions by you not getting a tip. So she got no tip. This was not a young younger person. This was a lady that was about. I'd say 50 at least so we can't blame it on the young people. I'm sorry I think she was just an ass.. We stopped quickly on our way home from shopping here and it did not disappoint! We had garlic bread with cheese, cheesesteak with mushrooms, and my favorite, shrimp fra diavolo. My pasta dinner was great! I loved the sauce. It was not as thick as I've had it elsewhere but I loved it 'runnier' to soak up in my garlic bread. This place definitely has good pizza. However, only when it's fresh. If you go later in the evening, many of the pizza options are stale from being out all day and they just reheat them. As for the rest of the menu, it is just okay. Definitely a bit overpriced for what you get. Waiting staff seems to change weekly and they never know what they are doing. Some slices are amazing, some aren't so great. Drunken grandma slice is the best one they have in my opinion. If you choose the simple slices, you'll enjoy them. The pasta dishes are also really good. Empanadas aren't too tastey. Try a few things and you'll figure out what to order ! read more

Coming from NYC, I have become sort of spoiled when it comes to pizza. When I moved to Hackettstown it was a challenge for me to find a decent slice, fortunately Franks was good enough. I have lived here for years now so I have been to this location many times. Unfortunately I will not be returning (at least for takeout) because they have repeatedly left out parts of my order. Sorry guys, when I'm picking up food for a house full of guests I don't have time to just drop what I'm doing and come back. Pay better attention to detail and focus on training your people at the counter to do the same. UPDATE: Dropping you to one star. I have given so many chances for this place to make things right but I have been disappointed literally every single time I go. They've lost my order on more then one occasion and my food has been ice cold by the time I got home (5 minute drive.) I went to Frank's pizza for the first time the other night. I ordered off the online menu. Broccoli in white sauce with pasta. $7.50. (frozen broccoli, mind you) I go to pay for all 4 items I had ordered and he charges me $12.95 for it. When I said something, they just said the owner is having trouble with the guy that runs the website. You can talk to him tomorrow. At that point it was too late to go somewhere else to feed my kids, so I paid, ranted and left. By the time I got home and looked on the website to show my husband, they changed all their prices! I am honestly surprised that Frank's did not have a higher score on Yelp! My family and I have eaten at Frank's in Byram (next to Shoprite) and my co-workers and I have ordered from the Frank's on Main Street in Hackettstown. I don't know if they are all owned by the same people but, the food at the Frank's on Route 57 (next to Party City) was fantastic; just as the other two are as well. My only regret was not eating at the restaurant because I seriously wanted a sliver of every single pizza they offered a la carte at the counter. Everything looked fabulous. We didn't go crazy for our order & I had about a 25 minute drive home so, the food got cold but despite this, the food was still great! We had fried calamari - perfectly fried and the side marinara was very tasty! Nothing is worse than ordering fried calamari and having it served with tomato paste/sauce straight out of a can. The sauce here was very good! My daughter and I shared a calzone w/ ham, mushrooms & sautéed spinach. Absolutely delicious! We also shared a chicken Caesar salad. Now, how hard is it to make a chicken Caesar salad taste good, right? You'd think so but I've ordered other places where the chicken is rock solid, the dressing tastes cheap and there is nothing special about it. NOT HERE. The chicken was grilled, moist and excellently seasoned. They put just the right amount of dressing; croutons, some parm cheese flakes (FLAKES!! YUMMO!!). I think there were some red onion slivers and maybe olives too? I ate so much of the salad that I could barely eat more than 4 bites of the massive calzone. My boys had pepperoni and bacon pizza. They literally tried to microwave my chicken pizza roll. Seriously?!? FYI they keep a microwave under the counter. Keep an eye on them w/your food. I think it's disgraceful to call yourself a pizza place. When I told the guy I didn't want it if he heated it in the microwave, he look at me like I was the jerk. Sorry! My wife and I go here regularly for dinner and the food is consistent. The owners are friendly and so is their staff. Came here for the first time today and I can firmly establish that this is the best pizza place in the area. The food is spectacular. There is a myriad of options in terms of pizza, some obscure combinations that work in a perfect symphony. Atmosphere is warming and welcoming, very family friendly and the staff is genuine and genial. Would absolutely recommend, I will defiantly be returning even if it means going out of my way. read more
