The Nicola Special pizza is outstanding! Got the large, thin crust pizza. It was like an "Everything" bagel, a little of every topping.

Nicola's...we love you. But if you could love us back just a tad, that would be awesome. This happens to us regularly, after we've already given a generous tip to the delivery person, because we appreciate them. If we could get the extra cheese ON the pizza instead of spilled all over the box, we'd be most appreciative. read more

Best NY style pizza in the area. We were pleasantly surprised. Try this before the others in town!!!

I've seen pizza reviews for many places in our area. I think there are so many types of pizza today that it makes things confusing. When I think about good pizza, it's NY pizza. What does this mean? Thin crust, melted cheese with a healthy amount of sauce bursting with flavor. When you fold the slice it drips oil. There is a crunch at the tail end of the bite. The flavor is consistent and no harm comes to the slice by adding powdered garlic, oregano, salt and hot pepper. While Nicolas is slightly smaller than a slice from the Bronx, it has all of the other properties that make it the best pizza in our area. They know how to make pizza and it is consistently good. My family continues to enjoy it.. I don't care what other reviews say.. I've been there enough times to provide this review.. read more

Placed an order tonight at 5pm for delivery. Understanding that a 5pm Friday delivery may take a little time. Over two hours later our order was received. Personal cheese pizza was cold and was equivalent to a frozen microwave pizza. Boneless wings and fried mushrooms both cold. Salads were fine but for a $50+ order, we were very disappointed. We ordered through door dash, and had it delivered, it took an hour and 45 minutes, they were looking for a dasher (not their fault) I called the restaurant because when I ordered through the app they give you the option to choose half toppings (left and right) and whole pie. I selected half meatballs and mushrooms and extra cheese on the whole pie. The whole pie came with toppings, there's not extra cheese and it looks like they spilled another pizza on the pie. I called the restaurant and she said and I quote "that's not our problem" that option should not be on the app if they can't cater to a request. read more

The food is tasty and the pricing is reasonable, but I don't know what it is, but for the last 3 times or so after I've had pizza slices, I've had to spray hot brown rain out of my rangus. I don't know if it's the oiliness of the pizza (which is classic NJ pizza, sloppy, floppy, thin, and greazy) or if the slices sit out too long or it's some health code they're breaking, but it's happened consistently now. Again, the staff is friendly and it's decent casual dining, but it's always the hot brown rain. If you don't mind spraying hot brown rain from your rangus, it won't bother you. read more

Worst sausage sandwich ever! Dried out, cut in little slices-horrible. Franks next time for sure.

Just got my dinner Delivery. I have to say the delivery was very quick. I've never tried the pan pizza before, oh my god it's so good. I got the Italian wedding soup for my husband he loves it. Also for a midnight snack we got a cheese calzone to split. The delivery guy was polite he even called me back to thank me for the tip. Great job guys keep it up. read more

This place is horrible and they are cheap, it's sad. I don't write reviews but I need to for this place. They barely give any chicken on a panni it was mostly bread it was 4 thinly sliced pieces of chicken that didn't even taste like chicken, it was spongy inside. Everything is taste less you can't even taste salt or pepper the 2 basic ingredients, it just taste like cardboard. They charge 12 dollars for a shrimp basket and give you 4 nasty shrimp and a bunch of nasty fries that's ALL seasonless and the cocktail sauce taste like it's from the dollar store. If your the Califon area I highly recommend Franks pizza you won't be disappointed! read more

We ordered the family size meat lovers Calzone. It was baked just right, so bread was perfectly crispy, but not hard like most places. It was so packed full that we actually had leftovers. Oh, and the delivery was really quick and easy. We will definitely be regulars!! read more

Arrived a half hour late (an hour and a half after ordering) and it was cold and just looks and tastes like old pizza, I do not believe this was made fresh to order. Not a big fan of having to microwave pizza that I spent good money on expecting it to be fresh. read more

Ordered a fresh garlic pie but 45 minutes later, a tasteless, room temperature plain pie was delivered (minus the two bottles of Coke we asked for.) My wife and I moved to Tewksbury from Montclair last July. We have tried just about every pizza place in the area searching for our new "go to" spot. It wasn't an easy task as we fancy ourselves as pizza snobs. Happy to say our search is over! We have ordered three times, twice using the slice app, and each time we have been impressed. Best pizza in the area hands down. Wish the place was bigger inside but the owner makes up for that with his friendly service and great variety of fresh pies. Long story short, our delivery order did not arrive in the best of condition. Calzone was soaked in sauce and the other calzone was missing. Called them up to let them know and they sent two replacement calzones out right away!!! Great service. Thank you guys!!! read more

Very disappointed in our order. We ordered for delivery and was told that the kitchen was backed up but it would be one hour. After an hour and a half I called and was told that it was one minute away. Thirty minutes later (now Over two hours,) the food was delivered cold The wings with the hot sauce were meaty, however cold. The grilled chicken salad was ordered with balsamic vinaigrette on the side, however it looked like somebody started to pour creamy Caesar on it, realized their mistake and sent it out anyway. Very poor service and quality. You would be well advised to choose one of the other restaurants in the area because this one needs quite a bit of work. read more

Your Privacy is NOT safe! Cold food, long delivery times, even food poisoning are included in the unprofessional service here. The one thing that is completely unacceptable is a violation of privacy. A patron should NEVER be called or texted in the middle of the night by a delivery person looking to engage in an argument. Absolutely Horrible. I have never taken the time to review any restaurant, but it was so bad I had to. The wings I ordered were plain with sauce on the side, and the wings were still soggy and flavorless. I also got porgies and they tasted like the frozen box they came in. Then there was the worst cheese steak I ever had in my life. The bread was burned, and the meat was drier than a sandbox in July, and there wasn't enough cheese to feed a mouse. If I were you, no matter how you make money, it would be wasted on the food here. I would feel bad feeding this to the homeless and I could kill a squirrel and make it taste better. read more

I've had pretty good pizza and pretty good salads from here.. but never have I had worse wings to the point they were inedible!! How do you ruin wings to the point we'd rather throw them out than eat them?! Ordered 35 wings - an online special they don't have on their standard menu - disgusting! Half hot, half plain.. both so over cooked and pathetic that no one wanted them and we threw them out. Beyond that - even if they were cooked well, they were so small, they still would have sucked. This is my first review ever, they were so bad I created this yelp account just to review them! Gave 2 stars instead of one because the pizza and salads I've had in the past from there have been decent. read more

Went here based on the online reviews. Service was horrible. Asked for three slices and fries. Sat down and waited 20 mins. Only when I went to the counter did they give me, what the call pizza. Then they walked away when I tried to pay the bill. We got slices of stuffed pizza. Meh. The sauce that was served with it tasted like red clam sauce. If this is what passes for pizza in this town, we are in trouble. We won't be back. read more
