What in the world happened to this pizzeria? It used to be good. How do those garlic knots look? They were so dry we couldn't eat more than a bite and the pizza was wrong - supposed to be half plain, half topping - the entire pizza was with the topping and way overdone read more

Johnny Jrs Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Netcong, New Jersey

Best Gyro for Mile's. Order with salad and it's like 2 full meals. I was depressed for several years not knowing where to find a good gyro. There may be others, but I don't care. Johnnys is perfection. read more

Joe and I decided today while we were while munching on a some delicious garlic knots at #JohnnyJrsPizza in #NetcongNJ that, at our age, coming home smelling like garlic is same as coming home as a newlywed and having glitter on you. Just let your spouse know where you were. She knows you weren't at work. Anyway...we went to Johnny Jr.'s Pizza to get a Chicken Bacon Ranch Deep Dish Pizza. It was delicious, very filling and highly recommended. If you are ever in Netcong and want to support a local small business, give it a try. #BigDudesBigFoods #SupportSmallBusiness #BDBFCertified #BDBF read more

Johnny Jrs Pizza - a cheese pizza in a box - Pizza Near Me - Netcong, New Jersey

Brooklynites all across Jersey, hear this.. Johnny Jrs in Netcong is where it's at. Closest thing to Bay Ridge, Brooklyn pizza you're going to get in the tristate area. It's not a full sit-down pizza joint but theyre quick and kind. The crust is just perfection.. exactly right thickness, sauce to cheese ratio is perfection and they use the right secret ingredient on the bottom of the pie crust to give it that textbook crunch. I can eat like 4 slices myself bc the taste is so addictive. and they use real mushrooms and cut the sausage the right way. Best pizza for miles. Love JJs. read more

I'm always happy to do business here .the food is fantastic, onion rings are great and the delivery people are always super friendly.

I placed an order last night after 3 hours I called to find out what's going on and it still wasn't ready so I asked if I could pick it up.. the lady said yes I. 1/2. I waited and then went to pick it up- long story short it still wasn't ready and if it was I still wouldn't get the food- I walked in the lady at the counter is cutting lettuce no gloves and mask hanging down past her nose- she walked over and was touching her hair and head then after telling me it's not ready she went back to doing what she was doing.. the cook was making pizza no gloves mask hanging off his ear , place is dirty and dusty and dingy it was disgusting!!! Be aware of this place!! Never will I eat here again!!! read more

Just got a great pie from here. Great crust. Good flavor. Friendly counter. Used to go the other place down the street. May have found my new place. read more

My new favorite pizza joint. All the pies we've tried have been really good. The chicken francchase pie is out of this world. Owner & his crew are very nice. Hope they stick around here awhile. read more

I don't want to be harsh but seriously? I found the guys who work there pretty rude and snarky over the phone.. When we ordered the last few times they seemed annoyed when we asked them if they could make a specific type of pizza and when we just settled on plain he literally just hung up on me.. I had to call back to make sure they knew where to deliver! We've ordered here more than once and the pizza isn't that impressive- and it's EXPENSIVE for PIZZA. One time we ordered a large pepperoni pizza with fried calamari and it came to $35!! For that price the food was not even that tasty and the service left us with a sour taste in our mouth.. Stanhope has a few other pizza places where the food, service and price is not terrible.. I wouldn't suggest going there to eat either.. It's not that spacious. Delivery also took FOREVER and we are literally down the street from them. But who knows, maybe just not for us. read more

Food is great, however delivery wait horrible. Today I ordered at 550pm and it's 725pm with no food. Contacted the pizzeria several times asking for an update and was told it would be arriving in 10 mins. Yet no food in site as I write this review. Beyond aggravated and hungry. Unfortunately, will be the last time I order from them. read more

Decent pizza, not the best. Salads and sandwiches are good though. Decent for a quick bite to eat. read more

I've had good and bad food from this place. It's always inconsistent and just poorly managed. With so many pizza places in the area, there is no reason to "take your chances" with this place. read more

ordered from here in the past and had no issues. today, we ordered and waited 2 1/2 hours for a panini and a chicken wrap. when we called they told us it would be another hour! we said we will pick up our food and it was ready in 10 mins. they did NOT refund me the delivery fee and tip i paid in advance for the driver. when we picked up, they were out of soda that we already paid for and they totally gave me the wrong chicken wrap. get it together!!! very disappointed!!! read more

Ordered from Johnny Jrs for the first time on Saturday. My family and I were very happy. The pizza was great, crust not too thin, not too thick. The wings were fantastic and the salad was good. Zeppolis?!? Yes!!!! Staff was very polite over the phone and the delivery guy was nice. Only problem was the pizza was not hot when delivered other than that no complaints. read more

I had ordered lunch with the slice app. Not a good app or is it clear on what you get with your order. Got cheese steak sandwiches with the app it says french fries with sandwich and salad or soup. did not get drinks with order. Listings on app are not clear. Called about order the guy on the phone did not seem to care. I will never order from this place again. this is a horrible place. order at your own risk if you dare. spent $50 on lunch to be disappointed. never ever again. read more

Was really excited to try this place but really disappointed. No menu online to order off of and the guy on the phone just kept saying he can do that. The pizza arrived really cold. Not just barely warm but parts of it were cold and the white sauce was paste. I finished one piece and can't eat the rest. Really disappointed! read more

The plain cheese pizza was outstanding, with great sauce with the right balance of spices and fresh ingredients, along with good cheese. My wife had the meat lasagna, which she said was excellent. Will certainly order from them again soon. read more

NOTE: PIZZA RATING ONLY My family and I have ordered from every pizza place, franchise and mom & pop, in the area and Johnny Jrs. is BY FAR the best in our opinion. We order from Johnny Jrs. about once every other week and they have never disappointed us. The pizza is consistently delicious; the crust is not too thin or thick, perfect sauce/cheese ratio, and always perfectly cooked. And although I do agree with some of the other reviews that the portions could be bigger, I would much rather have a really good smaller slice than a 1/2 inch bigger, under cooked, sloppy mess (e.g. DON'T ORDER FROM DINO'S!!); QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Again, I can only speak for the pizza, as we have not had their entrees or sandwiches, but with their pizza being so good, I can't imagine the entrees being any less. The appetizers we've had were also very yummy; mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese bits, fried calamari & ravioli (my husband & daughter love the fried raviolis!); and the zeppolis, not only do they give you a TON per order but are absolutely delicious. I would also like to mention one more thing that I personally find very VERY important: The majority of the mom & pop pizzerias have extremely rude employees (e.g. CARMINE'S has HORRID staffing) and the staff at Johnny Jrs. is always SO nice. From the man who answers the phone to both delivery drivers, everyone has always been very polite and courtesy. Little things, such as speaking to your customers, seem too often neglected, so I really enjoy ordering from Johnny Jrs. Who wants to work hard all day then treat yourself to an easy dinner only to talk to a total snot on the phone? Not this full time working mommy & wife. Johnny Jrs. comes HIGHLY recommend from the Kiely household; ENJOY!! read more

Just ordered delivery for the first time tonight. Very happy. Polite and courteous on the phone, quick delivery, and awesome curly fries. I felt like I was at the boardwalk. And the zeppoles were incredible. Excited to try other items. read more
