NOTE: PIZZA RATING ONLY My family and I have ordered from every pizza place, franchise and mom & pop, in the area and Johnny Jrs. is BY FAR the best in our opinion. We order from Johnny Jrs. about once every other week and they have never disappointed us. The pizza is consistently delicious; the crust is not too thin or thick, perfect sauce/cheese ratio, and always perfectly cooked. And although I do agree with some of the other reviews that the portions could be bigger, I would much rather have a really good smaller slice than a 1/2 inch bigger, under cooked, sloppy mess (e.g. DON'T ORDER FROM DINO'S!!); QUALITY OVER QUANTITY. Again, I can only speak for the pizza, as we have not had their entrees or sandwiches, but with their pizza being so good, I can't imagine the entrees being any less. The appetizers we've had were also very yummy; mozzarella sticks, mac & cheese bits, fried calamari & ravioli (my husband & daughter love the fried raviolis!); and the zeppolis, not only do they give you a TON per order but are absolutely delicious. I would also like to mention one more thing that I personally find very VERY important: The majority of the mom & pop pizzerias have extremely rude employees (e.g. CARMINE'S has HORRID staffing) and the staff at Johnny Jrs. is always SO nice. From the man who answers the phone to both delivery drivers, everyone has always been very polite and courtesy. Little things, such as speaking to your customers, seem too often neglected, so I really enjoy ordering from Johnny Jrs. Who wants to work hard all day then treat yourself to an easy dinner only to talk to a total snot on the phone? Not this full time working mommy & wife. We get our food delivered. It comes hot and is well above average pizzaria entrees. The portions are very generous. Always leftovers.

Our go to Pizza place in Ledgewood. Most of the other places in town before they opened would either not deliver/ or were cash only. Was the main reason we gave them a chance, and have never really been disappointed since. Pizza is very good, Chicken parm is always stuffed with chicken. The garlic knots/ bread is also delicious. When Johnny Jrs first opened they had the best pizza in town. Their food was great and I had no complaints. Recently I came into town again and found that although their food and appitizers are still fantastic, I found their pizza to be a lot different than it was. It's doughy and now lacks flavor. I still do like their food but I'll get my pizza somehwere else unless they change it to what it used to be. Kind of disappointed. read more

The buffalo chicken white pizza as well as the plain white pizza were both great; they definitely hit the spot. However,small children were present and a seemingly not-so-child-friendly tv show was on in the background. It got a little awkward when a tv character would curse, and families were present. read more

Family meal deals are awesome, greatest pizza in the area. They deliver in decent amount of time.

Garlic knots are a yummy soft bread but I love garlic and there wasn't enough garlic flavor for my taste. Yummy white pizza, not a fan of too many mushrooms on the bacon chicken ranch pizza. read more

Extra cheese pizza is really good, $8 Monday and Tuesday deal pizza pretty good as well. Staff are pretty good, friendly. Everything on it pizza was really good as well. Pizza delivery is pretty fast too. Oh, the calzones are amazing! They are almost too big! However you order, this is the best thing they make and it is really good! read more

Have gotten pizza from Johnny jr's for years. Think they make a great pie. The owner is very pleasant and have never had a rude encounter with his staff. We moved out of the area and up to Byram and he was willing to still deliver to us. Which is super nice and great customer service to me! Yummy food+ good prices =A+ read more

I grew up in Netcong, and moved away. We still visit family. We never come to town without going to Johnny Jrs. Pizza. We love everything on the menu from pizza to lasagna to chicken fingers for our grandchildren. I would definitely recommend this establishment. The people are very friendly, and remember us every time we come to town. It is now a "must" when we visit. read more

Johnny Jrs is our go-to pizza place for delivery or pick up. Johnny even created a custom white pie we requested with fresh tomatoes with balsamic vinegar reduction and fresh basil. After mostly ordering delivery, when I went to pick up our order tonight, he introduced himself and acknowledged our custom order and remembered us. Can definitely tell when owner is not there. Placed an order on Friday night with an extremely rude guy. Was told order would be ready in 30 minutes, but was not ready until 45 minutes. Pizzas were partial raw!!! Half order was "forgotten" and started after I arrived and was waiting for order. This used to be a good place for pizza, but will have to look elsewhere for my pizza needs. read more

Unfortunately they went back to the way they made pizza's the 2nd time. When they first opened they were great, perfect pizza. Then they changed the way they made pizza's, which was horrible. After going back to the original way they made pizza's, for some reason they went back to the horrible way. read more

Very happy that Johnny's opened in my area as we now have a place that has great food, great service, and delivery. Agree with the other review that most other pizza places in the area are mediocre at best. The pizza is great and the cheese steak sandwich's are as close to Philly cheesesteak as you can get in Jersey. The owner is friendly and very accommodating. About once a month I place a large order for my office and they have yet to get the order wrong and deliver when they say they will. Would highly recommend Johnny Jrs! read more

Initiallly ordered from here one night because they were the only pizzeria in the area that delivered and accepted credit cards. We were pleasantly surprised. We have not had their pizza but have been thrilled with their pasta dishes and sandwiches. My husband overeats every time because the food is just that good. Definitely recommend them and certainly prefer them over the other place down the street. read more

First time I order from this place - they tell me 30 mins, after an hour with no food, we call to find out what's going on and they tell us we expect to much, that we have to give them time to cook and they only have 1 delivery driver. Manager (who is really the cook) gets on the phone, barely speaks English, argues with us when all we are trying to do is find out where our food is and then has the audacity to hang up on us. We call back demanding a refund after being treated so rudely by this manager - after our food is finally delivered, the "manager" calls back to confirm the refund and then tells us to not call if we don't have the money to pay and then hangs up on us AGAIN - ARE YOU KIDDING ME!!!! After finally getting to eat the food, your food isn't worth the money I would have paid (and afford to more than 10 times over) to have!!! Learn how to make a cheeseburger and a steak sandwich before you think people WANT your food and then maybe treat your customers with a little RESPECT! read more
