Not sure why all of the bad reviews! Bella's has always been our go-to! The food is absolutely amazing, and the owner has come in on holidays just to do catering orders for us. The inside isn't the best for sitting, but the food is so good and worth it! The owner recently started incorporating his homemade Guatemalan food, and is always willing to make something special. Ask about the Boom Boom chicken pizza or panini! read more

Bella's Pizza - Pizza Near Me - Stanhope, New Jersey

Pizza is less than spectacular. There is only one long table to sit and eat at and the place was not clean. If the front door looks filthy, what does the kitchen look like? We won't be back. read more

The food here is absolute garbage. The food was super greasy, the fries were dry and gross, and the pizza was extremely thin. This place looks unkept and dirty. The employers treat their employees terribly and are rude. Will not be going back. Do not recommend. read more

I'd give this more of a 3.5 only because the inside was a bit of a hot mess but the owner there was very nice and I believe the food has great potential. I ordered fried ravioli, chicken parm with vodka sauce and fried calamari (no pizza :/ although it looked good if you like thinner crispy crust :) ) Fried ravioli was decent. Wasn't over cooked but could have used some more flavor. Chicken parm also pretty good but also was missing some flavor. It was there but mild. The chicken was good quality/chicken cutlets from what I could see because I've had chicken tenders put on or chicken with tendon/tough pieces yuck. Fried calamari also not bad but could be more crispy. Overall I wish the food had a little more flavor but was alright-sometimes less is better. The inside needs some love-doesn't seem to have had a deep cleaning/update in a while. Most places I'm the area aren't impressing as far as cuisine goes so this just sort of blends in. Just seems a little tired but could be great! read more

This is a review for Bel-las Pizza on Rt 206 in Byram (in the shopping center next to Quick Chek. Not sure why it's spelled differently here than on the sign. Nevertheless, here goes.. Unfortunately, I don't have good things to report. The pizza was pretty uninspiring. Im originally from Brooklyn so the bar is high, but this place doesn't compare to other local pizza joints. The pizza crust was too thick, the sauce clearly procured from a can, and the taste pretty lacking. The meatballs can barely be named as such bc they were literally 99% breadcrumbs vs actual meat. On the flip side, the salad was fresh and well composed. BUT, we eventually found a hair inside so any redeeming qualities that dish brought to the rest of the meal were immediately cast aside. I wish this place had more to offer being so close by and prices reasonable. I just don't feel confident going back for a second try either... read more

Eggplant Parmesan was good. It didn't have much cheese on it. I had better elsewhere. Workers nice. June 6th I was still wearing my masks even though I got vaccinated the requirements changed. No workers had any masks. I will have to come back and check out other stuff. read more

Horrible service for an average pizza. Ordered via the telephone and was told 15 mins. Went to pick up and waited another 20 mins. Still not done. Another customer walks in, orders at the counter and gets a pizza in 5 minutes. Food is average and pizza is either too gooey or burned. I try to support local business but this was it. Not ever going back. Have no idea how the reviews are so great for customer sevice and the food quality. read more

Best place to get takeout pizza in Byram! Wouldn't recommend for sit in because there is only one small table but the pizza is great!

Although I only ordered sandwiches I do always come back here alot. Easy pickup and friendly staff. every sandwich I had which is probably 20 or so by now was very tasty..... I especially like the cheezy-steak... Would now try their pies... Hopefully better than Frank's pizza....Frank's pizza is always burnt. read more

Worst food ever. Save your money & order elsewhere. I ordered a cheesesteak & the bread was so hard I couldn't chew it & there was barely any meat. Had to throw it away. Even my dog wouldn't eat it.But apparently the worker said that's how they cook it. Bullshit. You don't cook the bread to a hockey puck. Then ordered mozzarella sticks. They were soooo undercooked,I almost threw up. So all that money I spent even though it took almost an hr & I was only given back $2. You can wipe your ass with that $2. 1st & last time I'll ever order. Stick to Italian pizzerias w/Italian cooks.. read more

Place used to be great, not sure if new owners took over or not. Place went down hill fast, long delivery wait, wrong orders, just incompetent employees. read more

Please note I have no connection to Bella's and I am only writing this review because they've gone above and beyond for me. Bella's is everything I could've asked for and more. I grew up on Acorn St. (a mile away) and Byram Pizza was my go-to pizza joint for most of my life. As any Byram-er knows, Byram Pizza went downhill faster than a fat kid on freshly waxed skis. Bella's took over and I was apprehensive to say the least. However, the owner and staff were extremely friendly and their pizza definitely meets my standards. They're big, thin and crispy slices. I'm not sure about Jason R.'s experience, but I get food from their about once a week. I've tried a few different slices of pizza (plain, white, ziti, chicken parm) and a few sandwiches (cheesesteak, meatball parm), as well as their calzones. The food has been great every time. The establishment is literally a hole in the wall pizza place. It's pretty much a kitchen with a small lobby with two small tables. The place looks as such. I have never questioned the cleanliness of Bella's and anyone can see almost the entire kitchen as soon as they walk in. I wouldn't go by Jason R.'s review. God forbid there are crumbs on the floor of a pizza place. Byram pizza was good in it's prime. Bella's is just as good, if not better. P.S. - Pro-tip, slices are $1 if you come in about an hour before they close. read more

Let me tell you about a great pizza place. Where the pizza was hot, crispy and seasoned just right. This place...was Byram Pizza. Under the previous owners. Today, we are left with pizza so soggy and doughy it can be used to spackle drywall. Mushy, wet, and tasteless. No. Thank. You. read more

Good food, good pizza. You should go inside once in a while to see what they have in the case, some times empanadas, some times special desserts! It's like a welcome surprise!! I always try them, even if I have no idea what they are! Never disappointed! read more

We have ordered from other pizzerias in the area non stop for the past 3 years we have lived here. But we have never ordered from this place before. Until tonight. We just got done eating a very delicious dinner because of these guys. Driver was very nice and respectful. Food was delivered in the time frame it said thru slice. Really quick for a Friday night. Food was hot and crispy. Real home made meatballs, a massive calzone and nice hot and crispy pizza. I think I just ate myself into a coma. I hope this place stays the same. They have my business for now on. read more

Very good pizza. Great artichokes! Chicken roll great! Love their $1.00 pizza after 9:00 pm

I use to consider Carmine's the best pizza in the area, then I went here. I've had pizza, subs and salads everything is always delicious. We've had baked ziti pizza the best. Make your own large 5 topping. Sicilian pies fantastic! Plus they support so many local groups! read more

Didn't expect much but stopped in late one night as it was on my way home from work to grab some slices.... come to find out after 9 they only charge a dollar a slice! Awesome since I was buying them either way. Pizza was very fresh and the way a pizza slice should be with great crust, sauce and cheese distribution. Also spoke to the owner for a bit and he seems to be a nice guy. Deffinetly worth the shot I bet you'll be surprised. read more

We recently moved to the area and have tried a few local pizza places. Bel-las is by far the best so far. However, if you have it delivered, add about 30 minutes to their delivery time estimate. The 3 deliveries I've been a part of all took 20-30 minutes longer than estimated and pies were lukewarm at best. read more

We like the pizza and other dishes.Need to get a PDF menu up on Yelp so other folks can see what's offered.

I recently had food delivered twice by Bel-las pizza ordered by relatives after a car accident. They were reliable and on time. The second order was large and had 5 different dishes. All yummy. We highly recommend this local business. Food great and so was service. We will be local patrons!!! read more

Absolutely the best pizza in all of Byram. Prices are very reasonable and the staff truly cares about customer service. Thank you to Franks pizza in Byram for letting your food standards slip. read more

Pizza was great but garlic knots were over garlicky. Other than that it was awesome. I would go back here again.

We ordered two pies, chicken francaise and a pepperoni. The pizza was amazing! This is now our pizzeria of choice. So happy to see great quality businesses moving into Byram. Can't wait to try their entrees. read more
