They definitely the classic burger proud. Double smash burgers are the typical go to orders as it also has a much better portion of meat to bun than the singles. The burgers are so crispy that when you take a bite you get a hint of meat in every bite. I think I prefer a thicker burger but I also knew this was a smash burger place. We ordered burgers 40 minutes before close and we had to wait a good 10 minutes but it was worth it as everything came hot and meaty. They asked if we wanted the cheese sauce on the side and it was perfect for the fries. The fries were soft and pillowy on the inside and perfectly seasoned. The place was cute and had simple decorations including a sign that says, "Parental advisory: Explicit content occasionally plays here." Although I didn't hear any when going there! They also have pop and a shot of alcohol for $5. They also have a taffy counter under the payment counter. I think it was an alright place, not my favorite but it was a good smash burger. Stopped in recently for dinner after a Bengals game and had a great time. If you're leaving the…read morestadium area it's a 20 minute walk with some uphill, but well worth the trek to get ahead of the crowds. The bars near the stadium were mobbed. The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo. Thanks guys you earned a fourth star for great friendly service from the manager and bartenders!!

They brought our food all at once due to that, to include the appetizer. Service was quick but we only saw our "waiter" once to deliver our food. If we had needed refills, we wouldn't have gotten them. We didn't even get silverware and only got one appetizer plate. The ambiance was nice, it's a great looking facility. I probably won't be back though, unfortunately. Just not great enough to bother going again. We did have one beer off the draft list that was good. The dragons milk.

I am still dreaming about the pork belly skewers. We had a reservation for our party, so we were seated quickly. The inside of this old church is very sleek, modern, and clean. It is more upscale in feeling than other breweries in the area. We ordered the pork belly skewers, cheese curds, squash croquettes, and jalapeno poppers as appetizers for the table. The pork belly skewers are probably one of the greatest things I have ever eaten, as i said above. The squash croquettes are so different and so good as well. The cheese curds are standard and sure to please a crowd. And lastly, the jalapeno poppers were not for me. They stuff theirs with chicken, not cream cheese, and that flavor combo with the super smokey bacon wrapped around it did nothing for me. If you are more of a carnivore though you would probably love it. I got the chicken marinara sandwich and split a side of the brussels sprouts with a friend. The sandwich was huge! It looked much larger than some of the other plates people got. The marinara had great flavor, the cheese was fresh, and the chicken was perfectly cooked. I was so stuffed from my appetizers that I only ate half the sandwich. The sprouts were also very well done and the cheese/sauce on them was so so good. We ended the meal, even though we were all so full, with their citrus olive oil cake. Now some people find that name off-putting, but let me tell you as someone who loves baking, this cake is one of the best desserts I have ever had in my life. It is so light, with the perfect amount of citrus, and the fresh whipped cream is so delicious. It truly is a perfect dessert and I would go back only for that. Overall we had a great dinner here and left so stuffed that we all went home to lay down. The beer is also good but I would go for the food before anything else. If you are downtown and need a great meal, do not hesitate to come here!

To start this place is a "sit down" but you have to order at the bar and they bring it to you. We were a tad thrown off with that since they literally had waiters and people roaming around, didn't make sense to me. But that was just the start! We decided to order nachos and a pretzel to start the meal. The pretzel was disgusting, hard and lacking flavor and the $14 nachos was a side plate with a small portion of nachos on it. I asked the server what was with the size of the nachos and he said he though they were normal. They aren't, you go to a normal bar and for $14 comes out a platter with nachos that are loaded. Then our mains came out, my wife's salad was gross, lacking flavor and with dry chicken and my burger was decent. For $90 this meal should have been WAYYY better. We left feeling very disappointed and will definitely not be coming back.

McDonalds. Where to begin, the dual drive-thrus are an abomination of "fast, easy" service. It takes me a half and hour minimum to make it through the line even when they have 2 to 3 cars in line. The staff is always rude, my order is always wrong and it's as if they try to be as slow as possible. Salads are lackluster at best. Nearly $7.00 for a skimpy, dried out piece of chicken that is more like jerky than a juicy piece of chicken, all resting on a bed of wilted lettuce and old tomatoes with a few pieces of cheese. No thanks. The paper thin burgers hanging out between two stale buns and a monumental amount of lettuce to make it seem as if it is worth paying more than 2 bucks for, a dabble of mac sauce and they call it their signature burger. Its a salad on a bun with beef patty garnish. The rock hard fries that could be used as little dualing swords. I tried this new place a few times, I won't be returning. It just isn't worth the wait, the price when you actually look at what you get and the food cost to the company, the staff attitude because obviously, you being there is a fispleasire for them, and the below standard fast-food quality. McDonald's will be around forever but the food suffers more with each passing year. read more
