I used the McDonalds app and placed an order for pick up. Went around 9 pm on a Sunday. I wanted something quick after working late. My only complaint is that they need better lighting. Their sign is not lit up and the parking lot is already dark with no street lights so it looks like they're closed when they aren't. Drive thru was moving pretty quickly. I didn't have to wait over five minutes and there were three cars in front of me. The fries were hot and fresh. My cheeseburger was good and had the right amount of sauce. When I got my drink, they also handed me my straw. Napkins were included and everyone was nice and polite. The night crew is great! read more

The workers saunter around, the manager was deaf to customer needs, and the drive through line was at a standstill. Everyone seemed to be rushing, but not getting anything accomplished. I would expect near adults to have more sense than a simple bacteria. They got our order wrong, despite our clear and direct phrasing. We got to the window and they gave us our drinks, without our straws of course. Then they had us wait, for what and so long I don't know. While we were waiting, there was a reassigned worker wandering around giving food to people waiting. He was polite enough when we asked for him to give us our straws to accompany our straw-less drinks. Soon after he brought us our food. We drove for perhaps 5-10 minutes, where we got our food out. I do not recommend you visit the Eastgate franchise (812 Eastgate North Drive) of McDonalds. This is our local restaurant and we do give them a fair amount of business, especially for breakfast. This morning, mobile ordering had an error but we were charged. The manager lady on duty told me she would need to charge us again to get our food. This HAS happened before and I've let it fly. This morning, I explained that and it takes forever for it to be refunded. She rudely told me I had to prove it or I was out of luck. So I went to the car, grabbed my husband with his mobile, and we went in. She demanded that the text message from the bank showing the charge was not enough: we had to log into our bank account and show her the transaction on our bank statement. Privacy issues? Nah she seemed to not care. When my husband expressed that was rude to ask and a privacy issue, she got even snottier "That's what we have to do." She "called" her owner and claimed he backed her up. The food was done and waiting at this point. When I felt that my husband had had enough and might get nasty (he's very protective of me), I had to drag my husband out, stating I would call corporate. And I have. We won't be back - we are eating in Burger King right now. read more

Morning drive through is super slow most days. They constantly forget the they have dual drive through order stations as 4 or 5 cars can got before someone takes an order for the side you might be stuck in. Placing an order with the mobile app never seems to work either. This was brought to managements attention and was never fix since i last tried. On the plus side, when I get my food, its warm and order is correct 95% of the time. If your in a hurry in the morning, i would avoid this place. The staff deserves 5 stars but the wait and quality knocks the rating down to two. The fries are always, without fail, stale little swords. The chicken nuggets (aka ninja stars) are more often than not, dried out without much visible meat left. You could literally throw one at the concrete and it will hold it's shape and quite possibly crack the pavement in your driveway. The burgers are usually always fine but I can imagine that would be kind of hard to mess up. The buns can be stiff sometimes and make you wonder if McDonald's has started toasting their buns but no, they are just chilling under the heat lamps working on their tan and get crispy. The salads are a waste of money, to be totally honest. They are often missing key ingredients such as tortilla strips or cheese etc. I'd rather go the extra minute down the road to Chick-fil-A and know I am getting an epic salad with half the wait time but a longer line (I know, how does that make sense? It doesn't.) You know that feeling when your waiting at the microphone to place your order but 4 cars in the other lane have placed their order and they refuse to acknowledge you so you start to have a mini anxiety attack because the line is so long and people are going to think that your ordering so much food that your lane keeps getting skipped but in reality you haven't even placed your order yet and have had to uncomfortably say "Hello?", so that maybe they will stop taking orders from the other line and take YOUR order and now people behind you are now going to the other line thinking it's ALL your fault their waiting.... This McDonald's is very, very good for that, if you like that kind of lifestyle. read more

Amazing! Food made wrong, every time all the time! I love the not so fresh buns and the "under a heat lamp all day" fish taste. The employees were all very nice and I'm sure I'll be back too!
