Wow! This is one of the nicest McDonalds I've visited. The dining area is very modern and welcoming. Prices seem to be slightly higher than others. My 4 piece chicken nuggets happy meal was $4.39. Service is fast and friendly. Lots of parking and it's right off the freeway as a stand alone restaurant. Currently Hello Kitty toys come with happy meals. Tables are clean and tidy. On the $5 deal; I asked for a large drink and they charged me $0.48. All sizes of drinks cost the same. I have been to 4 other McDonald's that didn't do that. When I asked the cashier he said they do it all the time. When I called they couldn't care less. I stopped going to this McDonald's before for poor customer service; looks like It hasn't changed. I will never go back. I haven't seen one good review of this location. How sad that in this economy that they can't even give you a larger drink when the charge the same for all sizes or at least they are supposed too. Rude management when I called. This complaint is for store #18717 in Chino Hills, CA. We ordered a Cheeseburger Kids Meal with NO burger patty (as normal with the daytime, early afternoon staff), no onions, no pickles, and with ketchup and mustard, because the child doesn't eat meat. We get to the pickup window and an Asian young adult female with glasses hands over the order but it's wrong. There was no cheese, only ketchup and mustard. We inform her that the order is wrong, she turns and relays the message to a young adult Asian male co-worker (very nice/cordial) who asks what needs to be corrected. We inform him, as the Asian young adult female with glasses is openly frowning with an irritable look on her face, but we didn't address it, and she shut the window. Suddenly, this short Asian older adult team lead/supervisor/manager aggressively comes to the window and says they can't remake the order because we need to pay for the cheese; $.54, which is no problem at all, considering the fact that WE ORDERED AND USED MCDONALD REWARD POINTS FOR A CHEESEBURGER KIDS MEAL, WHICH INCLUDES A BURGER PATTY which we didn't want/nor receive ... BUT NO PROBLEM! The rude/aggressive unfriendly approach and the slightly elevated tone from this team lead/supervisor/manager, or whatever she is/was, struck-a-nerve and was totally unacceptable. We purchase from McDonald's, especially this location, on a regular basis, which is why there are McDonald reward points to cover meals, and we have NEVER experienced such rude, aggressive, and "racist" like treatment from the day/afternoon staff members, which is our normal times of ordering. After being treated so horrible AND after being addressed with an elevated and offensive tone, behavior, and conduct, we asked for a refund. She became a bit argumentative and reversed the reward points and refunded the $.54 to the card. Upon asking for her name, she turned and walked away as if we hadn't said anything to her, refusing to give her name. Once out of site, the young Asian adult hesitantly supplied her name (we should've asked for her name too because she was just as rude) which is supposedly "Phontene, Foxtene. or something of the sort. Those two staff members need coaching and code of conduct training. It's sad that we had to endure such horrible and disgusting treatment, and I hope McDonald's cares enough to respond and address the situation accordingly. We left the location and traveled out of the way to a different location, w/o experiencing any negative/racist treatment, AND, the order was correctly made "the first time". read more

I eat at McDonald's maybe once or twice a year. I love their fries so, when the fries are bad it makes me sad. The drive thru line was fine, order was correct, hubby says Big Mac was good, filet o fish was okay but the cheese wasn't melted at all and the fries were the WORST ever!!!! They were mostly soggy with some firm but not crispy. As they cooled they got Chewy! Yuck! Like when you microwave something to reheat it. I've never experienced that with any other fries. We threw them out cuz they weren't worth the health hazard (calories). I don't eat burgers and they just ruined my only reason for coming. On 3-24.24, just passing and thought I would give it a chance ... obviously it's about 8:30 am. I knew the wait was gonna be long ... what was very bad was going inside to physically put in the order, waited at least 15 minutes and nobody even made an attempt to go behind the cash register. Also the time I was standing there waiting for some help pretty much all the customers that were in the drive thru, were inside trying to get their order sorted out cause either they missed items or the whole order was bad all together... If you want to waste precious time... Just order something from this McDonald's location and you'll have spent 20+ minutes waiting for at least 2 items. I wonder if it's just poor management or just not hiring enough workers for this location but most of the customers were pissed having to wait that long, even if it was for coffee... Not sure if it was because it was a Saturday night around 9 pm but there were about 6 people in front of me waiting for their orders and 4 people behind me... All I ordered was a McChicken and a 6-pc Chicken McNugget but I waited more than 20+ minutes. Once I got home, I noticed that the McChicken had nothing except the patty and very little mayonnaise but other than that, there was no lettuce. We ended up using the rest of the Honey Mustard sauce in the McChicken because it was so dry without the adequate amount of mayo and no lettuce. The couple in front of me ordered 2 iced coffees and also ended up waiting 15+ minutes. A few of the other patrons were starting to complain. For someone who had seemed like they had ordered 35+ minutes ago.. they had placed his hot cup of coffee on the tray for a bit of time and he came over to ask why it was taking so long and he also had 2 in cream cones, along with 2 large french fries. They also got an order wrong for the guy that was way ahead of me. He had been waiting in his car for over 15+ minutes and when they finally gave it to him, it was either not his or it was short of what he had ordered. From what I can tell... it seems that they were behind on the french fries and it was holding a lot of orders back... Visited, unfortunately, this location Wednesday night 11:45pm, August 25th. One of the worst drive thru experiences I've ever had. The guy that took our order was rude, as if he hated working there. The White heavy lady at the window didn't say one word either.. She took my card, swiped it, handed it back to me. Came back a couple minutes later and reaches out to hand me my food. Not one word. More often than not, you'll need to get in the habit of checking your bag the minute you get it as something will be probably missing or wrong. Really frustrating when it's as simple as ordering two or three items and they can't even get that right.
