One of the worst McDonalds in the Chicagoland area. Constantly slow. Order wrong or items left out.

Ugh! They completely gave me the wrong coffee in the drive-through. Typically do not get any sweeteners in my coffee, and they handed me some type of sugar bomb that tasted like it had syrups and all sorts of sugars in it. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of not taking my first sip until I had already pulled away, and I would have been late for work if I would have turned around to go trade in the sugar bomb for what I actually ordered. Way to ruin my morning, McDonald's! I noticed that this location does not use stickers on their coffee cups that identify what order is in what cup. If they would consider doing that, that seems like it would be a small step that would greatly diminish the possibility of mix-ups such as this happening. Now I do not trust this particular location anymore to give me my actual order, and will need to switch over to stopping at DD in the mornings, instead. Again - ugh! :( read more

I know this is a fast food chain and a Yelp review probably won't affect their business but if in the area I would drive the extra mile and go to a different location. My family of four went to this location because it was recently renovated and it was 9/915pm and we wanted to eat inside before we went home after watching our son play baseball. We googled the location and saw it said do I g room open until 11am. We go in location order food and say dine in, they took our order and once food came they said we could not eat inside and they were closed. It was 920. They should have said something when we ordered done in. One if my party is in a foot cast and carrying food for four to eat in a car was not what we wanted. If we wanted to eat in a car we would have went elsewhere. So my recommendation is drive the extra mile and go to a place that stays open according to what is on their door, on their website and has the courtesy to comment before we order. read more

Service is not good, too many employees were too busy standing around talking. I ordered through the drive through and they told me to pull to the side and wait they would bring a small order to me (kid's nugget meal). So I pulled where I was told and waited, after about 10 mins and a few cars coming and going (not many but a few) I started to wonder if they forgot about me. So I waited another 5 mins and went it. No one was at the counter and about 5 employees were standing around talking near the drive through window (only about two of those 5 looked to be busy). I could see other employees working towards the back but no one was very busy. No one seemed to care about customers at the register and I know as they were taking they saw me. One guy came over a after about 3 or 4 mins and I asked him to check my order. He asked what I ordered and told him the kid's nugget meal. He asked me specific items on the order went and came back and he did apologize when I told him I had been waiting a while and think they forgot about me. He then said he just "got here". I told him, I'm not blaming you but it certainly felt like they forgot completely about me. I know it's not an exceptionally long time and in all only about 20 to 25 mins but they weren't busy and looked to be over staffed. So to leave me waiting with no one at the register and again very few customers was irritating (and I had another order getting cold from somewhere else in the car). So if they were busy, or the apology actually felt sincere I wouldn't be as irritated and understand. Also, no "here is something small for waiting and us forgetting you", what's up with that? The manager couldn't come over and apologize himself? They have occasionally messed up an order but this is the first they completely forgot about me and left me sitting outside for an order that was never coming. read more

I go to this McDonald's everyday for a cappuccino. Today November 21 they told me the machine was down. So I went to another McDonald's also their machine was down. I ask the guy what going on he also lied. I call customer service and was told the manufacturer of the machine said there a problem. I don't understand why both McDonald's lied about there machine. Nothing really interesting or special about this place. I do have to say I came here several times, but in particular, there was one occasion where I came during the lunch hour. Seeing there being 6-cars deep in the drive-thru, I ventured in, where there were at least 4-people ahead of me in line. One of the registers only took cash, which made a customer really angry... I don't understand how people get angry so easily? Either case, seeing the staff here work their magic and not losing their cool, despite the long line and aggravated customers, this was a pleasant experience. The inside of the place was rather clean, with napkins, straws, and soda syrup, a-plenty. BATHROOM REVIEW: Nothing too interesting about this bathroom. It was as "clean" as expected for a McDonalds. This store has been remodeled in the past two years. Seating is spaced further apart and it's kept very clean. My favorite part is that it's very quiet, no background music playing. I can come here, sit, eat and think without noise. I ate here on Monday, several people here, all was quiet and the meal was enjoyable. My personal favorites are the fish sandwich and hash browns. read more

If I could give zero stars I would, I came here after school because my daughter's insisted on getting McDonald's. I ordered the 20 piece chicken nugget meal for them to share, they had me wait an extra 5-10 minutes for them to be FULLY COOKED, however they were not all the way cooked. Let me just say they looked disgusting and were only "warm" not even hot like they should be when they just come out of the fryer. Also, not even ONE DAY AFTER my youngest daughter got food poisoning from the chicken not being all the way cooked. By far the worst experience at an McDonald's I've ever had! I ordered at the kiosk, it said to take my receipt up the the register so I can pay cash. Didn't give me a receipt, took at least 10 minutes for a happy meal and a burger. I asked for extra pickles on my burger, gave me one pickle. The worker here told me there was only a burger in the happy meal and fries on the side, while I ordered a happy meal with burger, and fries, but I also got a burger and fries not with the happy meal. She told me I was wrong. And we had to go back and forth. I had to show her my receipt she gave me, and she was like, oh. read more

This location has come along way. The inside is swt up for an enjoyable seating experience. We sat in the,area that to my pleasant surprise had four comphy chairs, two side tables and a main table all facing a fire place. The service was fast, efficient and friendly. The food was fresh and the nuggets have also come along way! They are back to 100%beef as well I have utilized this locations drive thu on several occasions and they have been friendly and efficient. Years ago this was not the case. But now its not only remodeled inside, but remodeled their team as well. Nice overhaul MCky Ds! read more

I would never really write a review for Micky Ds, but just wanted to give a shout out to the owner for having the most nicely landscaped McDonalds in probably all of Chicagoland. Plus, they never gave me sweet tea instead of unsweetened. That ruins my day. read more

This is the best MCDS I have ever been to! The staff remember you, your orders, and ALWAYS have a smile and a "have a nice day" and say please and thank you. =] Their drinks are made 99% right (sometimes they hear wrong), but offer to fix it immediately without if's or but's. read more

This is walking distance to my house so I literally have to drive out of my way just to avoid this McDonald's. Never do drive thru... it's a running joke that they always f@&# you in the long run. Not 24 hours... ignore the sign... triple check your order and don't be picky especially with larger orders (more than 2 is considered large at this location). I'm a minority but c'mon... the guy taking my order usually can barely repeat it. It's frustrating only because it's usually wrong in the end... the person handing me stuff is the person I usually want taking the order. This location needs a lot of training in customer service. Did drive thru. Only asked for large Coke. Paid, moved to next window, got medium. Told them I ordered large. Took a couple of minutes. They replaced it with a large. No sorry, no nothing. Disorganized brain dead service. Only half took my order and then jumped around taking 4 other orders ahead of me before taking my money and then a few more orders while my salad sat there a few minutes and then I had to shout for them to fetch the dressing pack. read more

They hand ice cream cones with a bare hand. Lost my appetite for ice cream , they should really wear gloves!

Make sure you check your bag before you pull away from the drive-through - many times I've left without the dressing to my salad.

Fantastic service here. Got me everything I ordered at 3:30 in the morning, when Ypsi McDonald's told me "cash only" so that they didn't have to cook anything new up for me. These guys remembered every part of the order and made it great, even late in the night. read more

This McDonalds has been renovated recently and added an additional drive-thru and plasma tv's in the eating area. Also, the comfy chairs are arranged just like a living room so elderly folks can chat with their friends about WWII in total comfort. The counter where I'm sitting has a nice view of the 50" Plasma TV and this McDonalds also has Wi-Fi so I can write my Yelp review on my iPhone. The courteous girls working also seem to know just what I want, maybe cuz I eat here every day. 5 stars for clean restaurant, Shamrock Shakes and nice employees. read more

Instead of treating customers friendly and with gratitude this guy disrespects them and antagonizes them to make them never visit this place again. I will never visit this McDonald's again.
