Both times the employee, one of which was a manager, said that I must have accidentally pressed something. That is impossible because I only tapped my card and to tip under 15% one has to manually put the amount which I did not do. The first time it happened, the tip screen disappeared before I could even select anything. The second time it happened, I never saw a tip screen but somehow I was charged a tip after tapping my card. I do not want anything, but this is obviously a widespread issue & who knows how many customers they've done this to. Since this is such a small amount most customers won't even notice.

I waited briefly for my order to be taken care of the dining area was neat and tidy as they were about to close within 45 minutes of my arrival. I received my food and was really impressed that they have a really good cream soda as a fountain drink. The combo includes a bag of chips and drink. The cheesesteak was fresh off the grill hot. It had nice flavor with plenty of cheese. The next time I go there and get a cheesesteak I would definitely ask for less peppers and more onion. Also a little mayonnaise because that's just the way I like to eat my sandwiches overall it was really good for the price. Looking forward to trying other things on the menu.

The Gym Shoe consist of gyro meat, corned beef and roast beef with tzatziki sauce. The guy from behind the counter told me total and asked "Cash or Credit?" I asked is there a surcharge for using my card, he stated yes. I do not remember seeing signage for the surcharge, so I paid cash. The dining area had "picnic" type tables. There is a couple of outdoor tables too. I received my meal and the first thing I noticed was the sandwich was larger than I thought. It was put together nicely and the first bite was tasty. All of the meats were about equal without one taking over. Plenty of lettuce and I wish they equally spread the onions on the sandwich. The fries were hot and crisp but nothing spectacular. The sandwich was a clear winner, but I have to customize it more. The one thing I loved is that they still had a pay phone in between the doors.

I ordered a regular bacon cheeseburger lettuce wrap either grilled onions, lettuce, pickles, ketchup and mayo. My wife ordered a regular burger bowl with tomato, lettuce, grilled onions and mushrooms, mayo and mustard. The person taking my order was pleasant and the order was taken accurately, I reviewed the receipt to ensure this. I checked the order before leaving the store to ensure I had everything I ordered, I did. I did NOT open each burger to ensure they, specifically, were correct. My bad! When I got home we discovered that neither bacon cheeseburger had bacon on them. My son's burger that was only supposed to have lettuce and tomato had unwanted bonus ingredients of grilled onions and ketchup. My son and wife also said the fries were soggy, because they weren't cooked long enough. It would have been a 20-30 minute round trip to return to the store, so my family told me not to go back, and call the store after we ate. I did so and the best the manager could do for me was have me come back to the store so they could remake the burgers. That is a non-starter, unless he wanted to remake the entire order, While remaking one part of the order everything else gets colder and becomes inedible.
