This is by far the worst McDonald's I have ever been to, rude employees and managers. Every time I have ever gone, I check my receipt and check my bag before I leave. Something is always missing from my order and/or is wrong. The last time I went recently I ordered the spicy nuggets, asked for ranch dressing. I looked into my bag like usual and BAM no ranch. I parked my truck and went inside with my bag and receipt. Asked for the manager and she told me "sir I put the ranch in your bag, I can't give you extra" so I then opened my bag up and laid out what's in the bag. NO ranch!!! Lady was lying to me to my face! I said this is Bulls*** and I want my ranch now! She rudely rolled her eyes at me and tossed ranch into my bag and walked away to then start talking crap to her own employees!!! A manager... so unprofessional and will be the last time I go back to McDonald's. PS. Sweet tea is never sweet. (Also I know this is a first world problem but fix your act McDonald's. You used to be Mcdanks now your Mclame..)

Stopped here to use up some of their wifi (since T-Mobile data in this part of the world is only an "E" network) and use the bathroom to change clothes. The restaurant was clean and tidy, the bathroom was also clean. The parking lot was free of litter.

Great service in a very nice McDonalds. I am not sure if this was a renovation or a new build but it's clean, comfortable, & modern inside. They have touchscreens where you can place your own order, take a number, & they will bring it to your table!! It's like being overseas!

$5 grilled artisan chicken sandwich was served to me burnt (completely black), with no tomato, and rotten lettuce. They said they ran out of tomato. It tasted like crap. They had no other customers so it's not like they were too busy to notice they were serving, burn and rotten food.

I ordered a sausage biscuit sandwich for my breakfast this morning and this is what I got. A burnt hamburger patty with onions on a biscuit....who even does this?! So gross

Worst McDonald's in the world 15 mins for a breakfast burrito. I would avoid this restaurant at all cost.

A total nightmare to get to for logistically, but totally worth the hassle and the drive. This place is tiny so we lucked out getting seats. There are a few seats on a low top bar facing the street and a few more high top bar seats facing the kitchen. Not ideal for socializing, but we made it work, I found this place to be extremely kid-friendly even though it isn't necessarily catering towards kids. Tons of great food options - highlights being the strawberry french toast and the chicken bacon ranch wrap. Pretty sure these are both specials for February, but gosh they should keep them year-round. The gentleman cooking was great - from food to service. My coffee was good. Not superb, but hit the spot. My biggest wish for coffee shops is always homemade syrups but at least they use Monin. Overall, great experience and will definitely be back next time I stumble upon the area.

I went on a slow Monday morning so there was space to sit up on the bar as well as against the window of you wanted to get work done. It's a very small area but they make good use of the space. Hidden Gem for Sweet Tooths & Pup Parents!…read more We visited House of Marmalade as part of the Hampton Roads Passport Series, and I am so glad we did -- I don't think I would've discovered this little gem otherwise! The shop is small and cozy with no indoor seating, but what it lacks in size it makes up for in charm and incredible sweets. The bakery case was absolutely stunning -- full of beautifully made cookies, macarons, and more. We tried three macarons (espresso, almond, and salted caramel), and every single one was perfection -- fresh, flavorful, and just the right size and sweetness. We also grabbed a shortbread cookie, which was buttery and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. And let's not forget our pup! Lexi got a pumpkin cupcake with peanut butter icing, topped with a tiny bone-shaped treat -- not only adorable, but she devoured it. Definitely pup-approved! The staff was fantastic -- super friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. You can tell they care about their craft and their customers. Whether you're doing the Passport Tour or just looking for a place to grab something sweet, House of Marmalade is absolutely worth the stop. We'll definitely be back!

I love their options of drinks an biscuits, I've especially been craving their bacon and cheddar biscuit since I've last had it, and it's nice to go to a cafe that dos things a little differently than the standard! One thing I also adore about this location is how they will host small markets on the lawn outside the house! One time me and my friend finished chatting and having coffee and we unknowingly walked outside to see a bunch of vendors that weren't there before! It was so fun to walk around and speak with everyone, they were all so sweet and I ended up buying multiple things unplanned! I will say it can be a tight squeeze between the doorway and the counter when ordering as the hallway is small and the line can grow rapidly. But if it's not cold outside or busy there then it's not really an issue at all! I'm sad that they aren't open past 1-2PM most days, but that's understandable given the business they run and thier location! Overall, I couldn't recommend tho place more for anyone wanting a new study spot or place to try out in general in VB!

Pale Horse Coffee is owned by retired military who I thanked for there service. Inside, the line moved pretty consistently with averages of 10-12 people waiting to order and pick up their beverages. Their coffee selection and flavors to add are pretty tremendous and if you love coffee, you'll love this place because their service is so warm and friendly, just like their beverages. They offer free wifi which makes this place a great hang out for humans and their furry friends. On the morning that I stopped in there were 3 of the most beautiful and well behaved golden retrievers waiting patiently for their dog bone treat while their people waited for their drinks. Many other people were having business meetings and working remote. There is outside seating as well as plenty of seating inside and just as many electric outlets to keep the technology charged while the body charges from their delicious coffee. Parking is also free for up to 2 hours in the garage behind the shops. This is a wonderful well run coffee place!
