The two stars explains a lot. They forgot my frappe and had an attitude when they had to correct our order again.

Not about the food but but went in and had a man named Melvin take my order and he truly made my day with his positive attitude and infection smile someone needs to get this man a raise read more

Great food IF you have them cook it fresh off the grill. If it comes out of their heated drawers, you will get an over cooked, very dry piece of meat. We tried the new sirloin steak burger... OMG there was zero takes in the meat. Texture was good, but zero flavor. They exchanged it for quarter pounders, fresh off the grill. Much better! I would steer clear of the sirloin burgers... Overpriced cardboard! read more

Drive-thru backup on Tuesday morning. 10 min later pulling into the curbside spot to wait for a chicken biscuit for another 10 minutes.

It's McDonald's, you dont expect much.. but this location is absolutely ridiculous. Food was blatantly wrong and burned, waited over 20 minutes for a supposed manager just to say forget it and want our money back. Zero customer service and nasty food. read more

Made me wait and still gave me the wrong order. I used to come here all the time. But I'm done with there crappy service and screwing up my order!!!! read more

If I could give negative stars I would. We rarely eat out, if at all, but after being in the urgent care next door for over 3 hours, we wanted something quick and a treat for our son. We ordered a happy meal and two crispy buttermilk chicken sandwiches with fries and a drink. My drink was spilling out of the cup when he handed it to me, the fries were spilled inside the bag and when we got home, our sandwich was literally bread with chicken slapped in the middle! There was no tomato, sauce, or lettuce... actually I take that back, there was one tiny piece of lettuce.. like it hijacked it's way into the sandwich! My sons happy meal had yesterday's fries, they were so chewy and unseasoned. It was a reminder to why I cook vice eating out.. read more

The only thing good here are the drinks. Sent my double quarter back because it was loaded up with mustard. Once they gave me another one the buns were stale. Fries were mixed old and new. This was by far one of the worst experiences with food I've ever had with a Mcdonalds. read more

Ok i know, i know, Its mcdonalds. i shouldnt expect that much right ? Right, i dont, but- i would like to at least get to the drive thru window. I waited like 15 mins before i pulled off. I had at least 5 cars in front of me. You would have thought i was a chick fila. So I didnt even get a chance to rate the food. which might have been a life saver, because in some of the review they were serving raw chicken... so.. thank you baby Jesus read more

Negative 4 stars, absolutely worst experience ive ever had at a mcdonalds, and that's with 30+ years of visiting various locations. I waited in line for 15 minutes for a sausage mcmuffin with egg, and when the employee finally brought it out, he didn't even know it was my order and had me open the bag to check. When i opened the wrapper, the muffin was burned, the wrong egg was on it, and there was no cheese. Never again. Holy cow, that was terrible. read more

Really sucked! The burgers tasted liked 2 day old reheated burger in refrigerator and fries were limp or fresh. I will not reorder again online or drive thru. I give them one star for speaking to my family member to pick up which they couldn't find. We had to reorder in person and I won't get my point on the app that mcD's pushing! I hope the company that owns this franchise will look at my review. We ordered on dec 21,2020 At 5pm and it was terrible. Get it together.the mc Donald's on battlefield blvd and the one on Mt pleasant are so much better. read more

I don't eat at McDonald's all that often I normally go to one of the other fast food restaurants when eating fast food. However, the commercials for the new buttermilk chicken made me decide to give them a try. My chicken and fries came out cold (the chicken was also way over cooked) and this was at the middle of lunch hour. I asked them to please give me fresh and hot food which they promptly said they will. However, they then seemed to forget about me. After waiting for awhile I asked about my food and got it a few minutes later. While it was hot this time the chicken was just ok, nothing special to make me come back for it. The staff was extremely nice and did make right on my initial issue. If I was rating just the staff I would give them 5 stars. Having seen this restaurant from day one through several updates over the years I have to say that the new update is nice. A clean modern look with good use of the space they have. McDonald's is an American institution and nobody goes there expecting a gourmet meal but they should be able to make what they do have as tasty as they advertise. read more

McDonald's - Updated look at McDonalds. - Fast Food Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

DO NOT GO HERE!!! If I could give no stars, I would. My family and I went through the drive thru ordered a quarter pounder meal, buttermilk tenders, and a 6pc nugget mighty kids meal. They gave us all the right food, gave my daughter her nugget meal and she was eating it in the car. Got home sat down at the table and I wanted one of my daughters nuggets... as I picked one up it felt soft, the center was unusually soft for being cooked but the outside was brown and crispy. I broke it in half and IT WAS RAW!!! I was so LIVID and disgusted!! My 4 yo was eating raw chicken! My husband automatically called the store and set a complaint. But if my daughter gets sick for their mistake, there will be more consequences! I know there has to be a set timer or something for it to be cooking, so it was on them for their negligence! I am warning all future customers... if you go to this McDonalds or any fast food to always check to see if it's fully cooked. I just assumed that it was cooked on the outside that it was don't inside. This McDonalds has ruined all McDonalds for me and my family! Just disgusting!! read more

McDonald's - RAW CHICKEN NUGGETS! - Fast Food Near Me - Chesapeake, Virginia

It wouldn't let me give 0 stars. I got yelled at by the manager with the braids because I found a hair in my sandwich.

I am soooo embarrassed of going to McDonald's, it's no where to compare it from Chick-fil-A at all!! Came here because my god-son wanted a Happy Meal... so as a god-mother you try to please him with what he wants. Got to McDonald's around 2 and it was pretty busy now that they have two drive thru lanes open... so I went inside. Horrible horrible mistake, bc it was even worse inside. Only one register open and the employee was always occupied with something else, it took a good 10 minutes until I finally got to order. Oh, and guess what? Once I started ordering, the register started messing up which only made my order even longer to take. The employee kept saying "Is that all" (Gosh, really that's how you speak to your customer? SUCH POOR POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE) Finally, the manager helped her staff but didn't even apologize to me that it was taking longer than usual. Then, I paid and got my order from the manager herself, and of course I check everything before I leave. The Happy Meal was missing fries, and she gave apples instead of the yogurt I asked for. I also had asked for Large fries, and didn't get that bc the staff forgot to add that on (so then she tells me to pay $2 something for something I had already ordered earlier but you forget to add it, come on you should accommodate to your customers... Chickfila at least apologizes and gives you whatever you were missing for free) I went ahead and spoke to the manager about this, and she went ahead and argued back. (It's not that I wanted anything for free, it's just the way they handled the situation very poorly.) Such Poor Management, and Lack of Accommodation! Then when I got home and started to eat with my god-son, he tells me "Where's my toy?" I looked in all the bags and sure enough there was no toy in any of the bags. Now, I know why I never liked to go to McDonald's... I'll be sticking to Chickfila for now on!! read more

This place never fails to mess up my order. Tonight's what am I getting was after digging through the bag to pull out orders the 10 piece nugget is a 4 piece. Busy place, but order accuracy and drive they speed here is one of the best for a McDonald's

The service here is the worst of any fast food restaurant I have ever been to. I have been asked more than once to pull forward and wait FOR A CUP OF COFFEE in the morning... but besides that the management is the worst no matter what time of day! I recently asked to speak to someone about how absolutely obnoxious the person who took my order was, and the girl told me "I AM THE MANAGER" so i will be calling corporate. They are rude, snippy, and talk to people like they have an attitude, like I'm taking up their time. don't get me wrong, I understand that this is a busy location, but that is not a green light to treat your guest like trash. I'd rather go hungry than come back. read more

They got my order wrong TWICE, then when they had my order they missed a whole happy meal!the wait was sooooo long and the worst part i got charged for the price of two happy meals with only one. and the fries were soooo salty and soggy! If I could give less than 1 star I would. Just waited 20 minutes in the drive thru. The poor lady in front of me was obviously frustrated. I could hear the girl taking orders giving the customer attitude and even laughing at the woman. After my 18-20 minute wait, I didn't even order. This is horrible service from this location, as usual. read more

Slowest McDonalds I have ever been to. I was in the drive through for over 40 minutes and there were only a few cars. . And then after waiting forever, I was told that it would be another 7 minutes for them to cook the chicken. I am just trying to figure out why they did not start cooking it while I was in the drive-through for 40 minutes. read more

The food is ok, but the wait can be up to 20 minutes. Our order is ALWAYS wrong! They often leave out entire pieces of our menu, and because they have you pull into a waiting slot, we have to get out of our car to have them fix the order. This defeats the purpose of fast food! read more

Stopped in this morning at the drive through and ordered an Egg Mcmuffin meal w/orange juice. The idiot taking my order then wanted to argue with me about whether I wanted a small, medium or large. All I wanted was the meal and the OJ (whatever the REGULAR size is). He then cut me off and started taking orders from the other line of cars. I went inside to talk with the manager. She apologized but from her tone of voice I got the impression she couldn't care less. Won't be back again. There's Wendy's, Taco Bell, Burger King, Hardee's and Arby's all pretty much just up the street. read more

Service was horrible. Employees made us wait 10 minutes to even order. Then we wait another 17 minutes till we got to even get our food! The man behind counter in a poorly kept up uniform with no name tag LIKE ALL THE EMPLOYEES. None has a name tag, wreaked of weed on his breath. Their service is trash. Never going back again. read more

Worst McDonald's ever. Very slow service and rude employees. I prefer the Battlefield location.

If I could give a zero I would. I don't stop often but every time I do there is an issue. This is the last straw. Just left urgent care. Feeling a bit down and thought a chocolate dip cone would be good. Can't go in, both ankles are swollen and wrapped up. Very uncomfortable. Go thru the drive in. All I ordered was a dip cone. $1.33. I pull forward and the clerk tells me to pull ahead and wait. No explanation. Almost 5 min later some one came out and said the machine had to warm up. Did I still want it? I had paid so I said yes. Over 5 min later as car after car goes by I went through the drive in and asked for my money back. I said I would pull out front a few minutes later a manager came out apologizes, gave me my money and said something? He was in a hurry and turning away as he spoke. I will never go back to this location again. read more

Why am I rating fast food, and giving it 4 stars at that? Customer service. The handful of times I have swung through this place on a mad dash to get somewhere, the line is always insanely long. The only time this drive thru is efficient is when they had corporate people there doing timings. Today they pulled me to a parking space for ten minutes and still screwed up the order. Last time they give me half the food before pulling up, which resulted in a bunch of cold food. read more

Hello I have been to McDonalds and always lived near a McDonalds for over 30 years. To me this McDonalds has a little something special in the morning. I work in Chesapeake, and stop at this McDonalds nearly every morning. I always use the drivethrough, because it's fast. I drive up to the second mic to place my order and low and behold there's the most pleasant voice.(saying Goodmorning may I take your order. so pleasant and enlighting, veryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy friendly just love to hear the well manners first thing in the morning. Then I say who is this?(to myself) So after about three or four months (I'm kinda like a regular now) I think is he a Manager or something because he doesn't dress in color like the other workers I see through the windows. However, I tried to look at his badge and I think his name is Greffrey or Groffrey , E or O, tomatoes. Might I add that my order is always correct and I love that you all put the salt, pepper, etc in a bag of it own and not just throwing it in the meal. But the first impression, who is Greffrey, who knows how take care of you from the start is my Huba Huba. T.Young read more

Went to this location on Jan. 19, 2017. I was in the drive-thru line and it was taking too long and I was in a hurry so I went in. I ordered a cup of coffee and I gave the clerk $20.12. The clerk took my money and got my coffee. I took my coffee and I left. I went to work and around 1:00 when I got off I realized the clerk never gave me my change. I went back to McDonalds and I talked to the GM he told me he counted the drawer at 3:00 and he would call me after he counted it, so I gave him my name and number. I waited until about 7:00 that night and no one called,so I called the toll free number on the web site. I told the customer service rep. my story she said she was going to contact the franchise owner. I gave her my name, phone number, address and email. Well as of today no one has called me, so I guess it goes to show people are not honest anymore. I don't make a lot of money and $19.00 means a lot to me. It could be a tank of gas so I can get to work, but I guess McDonalds needs the money. No more Mcdonalds for me! read more
