We finally got a brand new and improved McDonald's! They removed the play zone and this new McDonald's has gotten a whole new modern look such as a couple touch screens for menus! I'm lovin' the new design and the customer service is looking excellent!

The slowest McDonald's I have ever been to and they don't seem to care. Don't bother coming here unless you have all day.

Terrible service. Drive thru is terrible and not going evenly with the people in line. Food wasn't even good.

The dedicated meeting rooms are available for a price. See picture below. My other coffee shops, you can purchase all different kinds of coffee. In addition, they have an assortment of breakfast sandwiches. We didn't try the breakfast sandwiches, but they looked good on the menu and in the past We just got regular coffee and lattes. They were very good. The service was just OK. Our coffee was delivered promptly, but the server was not overly friendly. We ask for a refill on the plain drip coffee. We were told it would be two dollars for a refill. We ask for the latte to be reheated since we had sat there for sometime during our meeting. We were told they do not have a microwave. There are a lot of repeat loyal customers since this place markets themselves for business meetings. They may want to consider changing their model for their repeat customers. Perhaps by using their rewards program to recognize customers by offering a less expensive, or even free, refill on plain coffee. This will make them more competitive with other coffee shops. It will also encourage the meeting environment that they are trying to establish. We will return again for a business meeting. We are hoping they become more customer focused for their repeat visitors.

What frustrates me is when you go to an expensive coffee house and you take a sip and the first thing you taste is waterish coffee. Weak. Mediocre. I also ordered a chocolate croissant. And the croissant was soft, but I'm not too sure what they use for chocolate? I don't know, but aside from the food the ambience at this place was spectacular. It was really nice, clean and modern. Very cute little place. Also, they had cute little bandannas that you can buy for your dog for about 6.00 ish.

The coffee is great, the vibe is fantastic, and the outdoor seating is especially gorgeous when the weather is nice. It is an easy place to enjoy whether I am working for a while or meeting friends to hang out, and that flexibility is a big part of the appeal. Carmel is better for having spots like this. Staff are always chill as well, maybe not the most chatty, but it's almost always busy - they're working hard!

Just make sure to get there before your proposed meeting time because the line is often literally out the door. This was the case when I arrived thankfully I'm chronically early. It just so happened to be their birthday celebration when I visited, so Bovaconti was giving out free pastries that day. I chose a croissant which was fluffy, flakey and buttery as all croissants should be. I ordered the $5 SPANISH LATTE consisting of Espresso, Sweet Condensed Milk, Cinnamon & Steamed Milk. So good! My friend had the $6 MAYAN MOCHA made with Dark Chocolate, Honey, Cinnamon, & Cayenne. Also well received. The gorgeous building appears to be an old bank with the original vault converted into a smaller room with eclectic decor. I recommend going on a weekday.

Super friendly the ladies that work in front are smiling and super cute. They are kind and Friendly my vanilla latte was done real fast and tastes Hmm a bit bitter then what I expected to be which means it was a bit strong for me.. not sweet enough but overall I do recommend this place for any age people to come and chat and relax eat and spend time away from home. My husband went running so I'm chilling here waiting for him. By the way the bathrooms are clean as well. After trying my vanilla latte two times, I end up asking the young ladies to make me another latte because I wanted to try something sweeter and they did it for free and actually was amazing what they gave me. Thanks so much I was not expecting that awesome treatment. Place gets crowded fast and the girls move fast as well. Not disappointed at all... I give it 10 out of 10

Java House's successes are impressive. Their product(s) must resonate with a loyal audience because…read moreadditional retail locations continue to pop up all across central Indiana. I imagine having the support/backing from Heartland Foods helps... The environment at this particular location is okay. I've always been confused by the meeting room in the back, which has no heating and cooling. I'll blame that on whoever took the lead on the buildout. Now for the most important question: How is the coffee? I wouldn't call myself a coffee connoisseur but I'd like to consider myself a decent judge of good quality and flavor. My home coffee preparation process includes: grinding fresh beans to a grain specific for my preferred brewing method (usually Chemex or Aeropress), heating the water to a specific temp based on the bean's country/region of origin, patience, etc. Java House's coffee is not good... I'm fairly certain they use "coffee" powder that's dissolved into water (think Nestle instant coffee) then placed in pressurized kegs that are then either heated or cooled before being poured via a tap. This is not a place you go to experience good coffee. I believe Java House appeals more to certain coffee drinkers who enjoy adding flavors, sweeteners, milks/creams, etc. and not those interested in the art of growing, roasting, brewing, etc. If you're chasing quality coffee in the area, I suggest checking out either Indie Coffee Roasters, Illumine Coffee, or Eggshell (if you can figure out Eggshell's hours). If broken down, my rating would be: 2.5 stars for the successes and environment .5 star for the coffee For the Java House folks: If I'm totally off regarding my assumption of how you brew, please feel free to correct me!

It felt genuine -- not forced -- and that made all the difference. The cashier was so kind and conversational while we checked out. She walked us through the flavors they offered and helped us decide without rushing us. That personal touch made it feel less like a transaction and more like a visit. We ended up ordering the London Fog and the Figgie Smalls..both were absolutely delicious. The London Fog was smooth and perfectly balanced, and the Figgie Smalls had such a unique, cozy flavor that we're already thinking about getting again. Great drinks, even better service. We sat down for a conversation that turned out to be a lot longer than either of us had planned. The team at ICR was friendly and checked in regularly, but were never intrusive. My friend really enjoyed the coffee, and that says something because she's very picky! As good as the coffee and the ambiance of ICR were, the service provided by Elise and Katherine was the real star of the show. The decor is great, the vibe is chill, and the service is fantastic. I've yet to meet someone who tries the coffee at ICR and comes away unimpressed. Next time you are in Carmel, and you want a spot with great coffee, great service, and a quiet yet classy look, Indy Coffee Roasters is the place to be, and if you want to skip the crowds, this location is great!
