This place is slower than a regular restaurant with the drive thru. Not sure how with one car ahead of us ordering it took 25+ mins to get our food. It's 38° out and they've got the food lined up by the window getting cold. By the time we finally got our food the fries were super cold from sitting in front of the damned open window unattended while they messed around doing god knows what. Asked us to pull up and I refused because every time I've ever been asked to do that, we end up forgotten or with the wrong order that takes even longer to correct. Finally got the food and the fries are still cold. To hell with this place. Fuck everyone who works at this shit hole. read more

This review is feedback to help make a change. My wife who is not picky and very forgiving stopped in at about 2pm yesterday and ordered a 1/4 lb. cheeseburger plain, combo with fries. A special order burger of this type should be guaranteed fresh custom made. Of course fries too should have the McDonald's quality. She was shocked and disgusted at the burger quality, noted as a dry burger, not hot, unmelted cheese. The bun was dry and had the quality of a microwaved bun, tough and chewy, poor tasting. The fries were hot but greasy, smelled funny and tasted terrible, a heavy grease smell. This is her fallback McDonald's order that should always be fresh and good. This one event ruined her for a long time to any of the local McDonald's. This hints of microwaved food, freshness issues, and cooking oil freshness/aging being suspect. When McDonald's with their decades long developed systems can't get a simple quality food out, then it's a serious sign of trouble. My wife used to work as a youth at a McDonald's and always recalls there high freshness standards and strict expired food standards. Recently we had a similar poor experience at the Perkins/Bluebonnet McDonald's so now wonder if their standards have slipped. I wish them well, I'm sure Covid hiring and adjustments are trying, but quality is a must or you will drive your customer base away. read more

Went in around 1pm on Monday dec 27 the whole establishment was dirty the lady at the register was so rude and when she walked off in the middle of us ordering the manager ( a lady) came over and was also rude and they started talking shit in the back so the whole crew kept popping out to see who their manager was talking shit about and then they purposely took long to get our order out when the food came the food was so disgusting the Patties were so dry they were hard and the fries were old and covered in salt. It honestly seemed like the crew members were trying to start a fight with us customers it was so unprofessional and ridiculous we didn't even eat the food because we were almost sure they did something to it because when we were walking away they all started giggling. I never write fast food reviews, but I have to on this one. The worst. Either the food is freezing cold, or, if you ask them kindly to fix it after standing in line 20 minutes, they re-heat it so much you can't touch it. Crappy crappy crappy. This one is near my home, and I literally drive down the road to Perkins sometimes to avoid this location. Update: Seriously, I think they need to completely re-haul this location because it is ridiculous. I have reluctantly returned for dinner, and they are the rudest people on the planet and act as if it actually offends them for you to ask for things like napkins. A side salad consisted of leftover shredded lettuce from burgers, and I honestly think they microwaved the salad dressing packet because they were mad that I asked for ketchup with my cold burger. The manager yells and argues with the workers in front of customers, and they look at you like you have two heads and never offer a polite word. Went through their drive through a little after 2 PM. The line moved slowly, though it did move. I ordered a large Diet Coke. When I got to the first window to pay, the young man did not greet me nor did he repeat my order. He took my card, rang me up, and then returned my card with a receipt. He never once spoke to me. I thanked him and then gradually made my way to the next window. I waited at the second window for nearly 2 minutes. The window, which had been closed, opened just enough for the crew member to extend an arm through. I couldn't even see the crew person. Whoever was on the other side of that window had messed up my order - they tried giving me an iced tea. When I told the crew person that I'd ordered a Diet Coke, the windows opened suddenly and the crew person said, loudly, "Well, we have you down for an iced tea." She then demanded to see my receipt, which I handed to her. She disappeared behind the window again and returned 30 seconds later with a Diet Coke. She never apologized for the mistake nor did she thank me for my business. What lousy service. read more

We was informed ice cream machine is down. Ice cream machine down means not only disappointment, but a huge indicator that the food will be trash. And it was. Fries was so old. They refried it. The nuggets. For the love of god why would u distribute it if it tastes lk sponge bob cousin who just came back from the desert. This is just pure cruelty to someone who's trying to have a decent meal on Sunday after going to church. Just close down or something. Staging urself on a busy intersection is just not being mindful of the residence. Deliver decent food out of the fryer. I don't what it takes to serve food that is crispy. This location is extremely dirty, mold growing in abundance on the outside brick, dirty concrete, trash and dirt all around the building and parking lot, drive through window dirty, cracked, and torn and falling off. The drive-thru line crawled, with cars waiting at the microphone and food window five minutes at a time. Rude service. They got my order wrong. I was sorry I went there and will never go again. This place is god awful. I sit in the drive through for 17 minutes placed my order and received a wrong order. So I pull around to get back in line, but the line was so long I decided to try and go in. The manager was standing there when I got out my car with the food in my hand, I realized I hadn't looked at my receipt so I went back to get it just to be sure my order was wrong. As I go back to the door the manager disappeared, the lobby was locked so I knocked, when he appeared she points to tell me to get back in line and I'm like are you serious, you could have said something when you saw me get out of my car. So after literally sitting in the drive through for additional 27 minutes I just told them at this point it doesn't matter what's wrong just give me my money back. I won't be back at all!! read more

I'd like to start off by noting that I'm a young professional right out of college, so I'm used to the fast food environment, etc. Of all the places in town, I'd have to say that this is by far the laziest and most disappointing location in Baton Rouge. And trust me I hit up Micky D's all the time. On countless occasions the tea has tasted like coffee, I've strolled of without the right order, left without getting sauce I asked for. A few times I've also had some sort of paper piece floating in a drink because of what I'm assuming is a part of a coffee filter that has made it's way into the tea...? Now on my most recent visits I was told that at 11am they weren't serving lunch and I had to order breakfast, so I continued to argue until they agreed they were able to fix a chicken nugget-evidently that's pretty complicated at 11am. Now I've visited them at 10:45pm where I rolled up to two people out of their car joking with the drive thru attendant. The line was long and I was unable to order before 11 - mind you before that time I got out of the car to go inside, but they had already locked the doors. I'm pretty tired of the disappointing customer service and lack of quality - so much so that even though I live very close to this location, I would rather drive all the way across town to get to another one. I've given them the benefit of the doubt plenty of times, but at some point you have to just give up and make the choice to go somewhere else...like the Wendy's next door. This location is simply the worst. There is always a long line and when you FINALLY get to place your order often times you have to sit and wait. One particular evening, before I could open my mouth to order I was told to wait a minute. So I wait, and wait, and wait. Finally after about 5 minutes had passed I simply gave up and drove to another location. Another day I ordered a McDouble with no cheese and extra pickles. I received my order and find that the sandwich has cheese but no pickles. I go around again and asked for what I ordered. This time I was given a regular hamburger, instead of the McDouble I asked for. Finally I had to go inside, and practically plead for my correct order. Even though they got it right the third time they took their sweet time getting it. The employees there act like they simply don't care. I will avoid this location like the plague. Might I add that the service at this location was this bad long before the pandemic ever began. read more

Very disappointed. Stopped here on my way out to the airport because it said it was open. All the lights where in and cars. The workers decided to sit at a table and not work. They were just talking. One month ago spent 20 mins in the drive thru waiting on a coffee and oatmeal with two cars ahead of me and when I finally got to the window and expressed my dismay was told sorry we are short handed. One month later against my better judgement found myself in the same all day wait for coffee and oatmeal to only discover approaching the magical window that at 0630 they dont have change and i should take my business somewhere else. Easily done, and wont give the chance for strike 3. BTW Steve Easterbrook CEO of Mc Donalds has been made aware of this unprofessional establishment. Its a bad sign when you hit a mcdonalds at 1215pm and they're not busy. The staff was rude, restaurant was filthy and the employee that took my order followed me from the restroom and didn't bother to wash their hands.
