Stopped on 7/24 for some breakfast, Place was really dirty. Not one table was cleaned, doors and windows were filthy and the restrooms looked and smelled like they had not been cleaned in days. The fountain machines were disgusting and all the sodas were bad and had to get mine filled from the machines they use for the drive thru. I was going to just get through Barstow on the way back from Vegas but my parents were complaining about being hungry. I stopped here without any expectations whatsoever. This is way better than the McDonalds at Barstow station. It's clean (including the restrooms), less busy, with good service. The food was also good for a McDonalds. There's plenty of parking. They also price accordingly (i.e. the 2 for 5 was going on) and not inflated (i.e. airport style). I would definitely recommend coming here over the one on E. This location is always busy. Luckily we left Vegas at the butt crack of dawn. Made it here to get some breakfast and coffee. Have been dropping by here for decades. It's easy to get in and out of and the food comes out fast. The service was great but the lot has tons of potholes and the dining tables were not clean... If my friends didn't need to relieve themselves, I probably would have gone with the drive thru. read more

Stopped here for our usual break on the trip to Vegas. Even though it was 7:00 pm it was still almost 100F outside. How do people live out here? Anyways, wasn't expecting much with our usual order of chicken nuggets and fries. But boy was I surprised by how good these were. The nuggets were fresh and crispy with just a hint of pepperiness. And the fries were amazing. I've had too many McDonald's fries lately they were just bland and limp. These were crispy and well seasoned. I can't stand the bland tasteless fries at most McDonald's where they seem to have forgotten how to use the salt shaker. Takes me back to how good McDonald's fries can be and how they became famous for it. Couldn't be happier. One last thing, there tend to be shady people around this spot every time we stop here. Just a warning and there's nothing the restaurant can do about that. read more

BIG. That is the theme of this particular McDonald's. But what got me enough attention to write a brief review is their clean restrooms, with emphasis on large capacity. There is a large restroom with just urinals, a separate restroom with 3 stalls for longer visits. They definitely don't want you to wait too long if you have to make a restroom break on your long road trip and go. They need to be big too, because this apparently is popular pitstop in general, due to the lack of civilization for many miles once you leave Barstow. There is also a big room for kids to eat (can definitely host kid parties here, with a playroom with slide and tunnel for the toddlers to explore. The restaurant itself is spacious, you will definitely not feel the tables packed in to capacity here. The area in front of the ordering counter is bigger than normal too, but they need it when a crowd descends upon this place all at once. Other than that, same menu, same promotions. read more

3 stars -- It's not the world's best restaurant but you don't eat at McDonald's to have your mind-blown by their cuisine; you eat here because it's familiar, cheap, and consistently tastes good. During COVID, it appears this location may be drive-thru only. I did not see any customers enter or exit the restaurant. All the staff working the drive-thru were wearing masks and gloves. And despite the long drive-thru line, they were fairly quick. My number one complaint about this location, IS the location. From Google maps, it appears to be right off the freeway and you can even SEE the McDonald's sign when you exit the freeway but you have to drive this weird backwards way to get to it. You may want to keep Siri's voice directions on until you get to the parking lot to prevent getting lost. read more

On the way back from our trip in Las Vegas we passed by McDonald's and ordered breakfast for the whole family. I asked if I can have a small cup of water. They asked me to pay one dollar I don't know if this is a policy or they made up the policy. They were really rude and the three employees ganged on me and each one keep saying I have to pay a dollar. I just walked out. read more

We generally stop at this McDonald's off the 15 generally when retuning home from my dad's because it's convenient and generally a great quick pitstop. Not this time. Today, we ordered on the machine (without incident) and they were busy so i understood it would take some time. The wait was what we expected but when we picked up our orders is when it went downhill. Our drinks were missing (small shake and medium iced coffee) so we politely let the the gentleman who was calling out orders know, he promptly made my shake and let the coffee assembler know. 5 minutes passed as i was standing at the order pickup and i asked him again if he had an ETA and he said it should be right out and reminded the coffee maker again. I watched as for another 5 minutes they kept making drinks for people who ordered after us. At this point my fiance had begun eating her food because she was tired of waiting at the counter. I asked again what the ETA would be and he apologized and started to make it himself when the expeditor yelled at him to get back to calling out orders and that she would finish the drink. Well another 5 minutes passed and i said that I have been waiting at this point for about 15-20 minutes for them to complete my order. They said they'd have it right out. Another 5 minutes passed and i asked again, they apologized and said the drink maker messed and and that they'd have it right out. They finally after about 25-30 minutes of waiting and standing at the pickup, get me an iced coffee. Get to the car and start driving when my fiance mentioned that she thinks its the wrong size. Low and behold, after all that waiting they still messed up the order and gave us the wrong size. Needless to say, will never be stopping at this location again read more

A restaurant must be accommodating to their patrons. Unfortunately, this McDonald's requires you to order on the kiosk. There are things you cannot order on the kiosk, this makes me believe that McDonald's is enjoying having their market share shrink. I could've chosen to go on the other side of the freeway to In-N-Out, who's service is always fantastic. I made a mistake today to come to this McDonald's. As I tell my kids, vote with your buck. I had the unfortunate experience of of choosing McDonald's as my breakfast stop on the morning of July 26th, 2024. It is obvious that service is not a high priority to this chain. I was greeted by multiple LED screens that that should have read "no service" do it yourself. Let me a take a moment to say that the young man behind the counter was wonderful. He was helpful to folks that were not able to use the machine. Please keep in mind this is a busy location and he is the only face behind the counter. He is the only reason there is 1 star on the review. To continue, I had the pleasure of placing my own order and the device was kind enough to take my money and not provide a receipt or and order number. The helpful young man could not retrieve my number.I then had the joy of playing Sherlock Holmes as I stood near the counter. About 10 minutes later, they called out a set of items that mirrored my order and I grabbed it. Hope it was mine. In conclusion, if you have masochistic tendency's. This is your place. This is probably the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The fries that they forgot about was stale and had no flavor. The chicken in the crispy chicken sandwich was hard as a rock and the bread was soggy. The frozen coke was also 30% melted when I got it. Not to mention there were so many customers with just one cashier. We waited about 30 minutes and things were still missing. Don't go to this McDonald's unless your want to be disappointed. If I could leave zero stars, I would. I went Friday on my lunch break to get lunch for myself and my husband. Ordered a Deluxe chicken sandwich meal with extra Mayo and add pickles and a 20 piece nuggets. The sandwich was PLAIN with ONLY pickles on it... no lettuce tomato mayo and it was rubbery. The fries I asked to be well done and the nuggets fresh. Neither of those things happened. I tried to call the number to tell them and it was disconnected. Food is average at best. Service is terrible, I love locally and if my nephews didn't like McDonald's as a treat I'd avoid this place entirely.
