The second time, we walked in and the place stunk, not like the stink that breweries always get but like dirty taps and sewage. The menu was very expensive ($13 for a hot dog). I'm not sure why they couldn't stop at the store and pick some up but that's what we were told. We happen to have teabags with us so we asked for hot water. We ordered over medium eggs and received over hard eggs. My toast was burned. (You only get one slice of toast). I scraped my toast onto a paper towel so that she could see it was burnt. She asked how everything was I told her the eggs were over hard and that the toast was burned. She didn't offer a replacement. She asked if there was anything else we needed at that time that we said no. The ham was decent. I did not care for the mashed tater tot hashbrowns.. It was just basically greasy fryer food. The taste of the fryer grease took over the taste of what the potato should taste like so we did not eat them. I wanted so bad to like the breakfast there. The waitress was nice enough, but she did not offer a replacement for the food or even an apology for the way the food was cooked. We will not be going back thankfully there are other breakfast establishments close to that area that offer really good breakfast at a more affordable price. I guess I really can't complain too much about the price because eating out is expensive everywhere and I wouldn't have minded paying the price if the food was better. It was very dry and not seasoned well. My Philly cheese steak was a step above steak-umms with almost no flavor and was served on cheap bake-it-at-home bread. Had to purchase curly fries on the side and they tasted like Ore-Ida's. This makes sense since the waitress told me their mac and cheese was just Stouffer's when I asked if they were any good. This meal cost $26 and change PLUS an extra charge for paying with a card (don't get me started) PLUS tip. All said and done we spent $30.
