I wanted to write a Yelp review to persuade coffee drinkers to buy a superb cup of coffee for $1.07, rather than paying for overpriced Starbucks or Dunkin' Donuts coffee nearby. Auburn McDonald's sells a quality cup of coffee served by a consistently friendly, warm and professional staff. My dear friend and neighbor Elizabeth U. treated me to a cup on my first few days as an Auburn resident and encouraged me to save money by buying my coffee there whenever I am out, because I prefer to start my day with percolated coffee at home. McDonald's in Auburn is my only go to when the coffee is poured from a pot that is not in my own kitchen. Malia handed me this delicious cup of hot coffee this morning with the same amount of professionalism that I've experienced since patronizing this restaurant. I will occasionally buy a sandwich or a kids meal from my nephew and the staff is consistently warm, professional and friendly. I strongly recommend buying their coffee, rather than wasting money for the overpriced brands. read more

I hate this place I asked for a Big Mac with no Big Mac sauce then they proceeded to give me it with sauce and this isn't the first time this happened and it's not just the Big Mac they keep messing up everything read more

What a hot mess ! For the third time in a row this place can't get a simple order correct ! First I heard horror stories about this location on Worcester Eats . They put back mistake orders on the food rack ! Disgusting ! They make it almost moron proof in the kitchen with all these pictures and aids but it still doesn't help ! The manager is doing a horrible job at this location ! Avoid this fast food nightmare at all costs ! A cheeseburger is not a chicken nugget ! Stop hiring braindead employees ! Once is totally understandable , every visit getting screwed over is another !!! Five dollars in gas and a crying kid says Burger King for now on !!! Well a quick add on . After my wife returned back the horrible manager was nasty and rude ! She ordered a hamburger happy meal and was given nuggets instead . After a ten minute ride back to this dump the manager reached out with a hamburger and went to hand it to my wife ! My wife wanted fries that weren't ice cold ! This made her even more rude ! This explains why this location is an embarrassment ! Poor management tends to trickle down ! Avoid this dump ! read more

Their food was great. The two double cheeseburgers that I asked for were just the way I wanted it. Their service was perfect. The ambiance was perfect and was not too noisy. read more

Typical McDonald's, luke warm food, shoddy service when they finally acknowledge that you're there. The last two times I've brought the kids it's been pretty messy and lacking in the supplies we need to eat, straws, napkins, ketchup, ice. We'll be back though bc the kids love the nuggets. read more

I rarely write reviews or complain about food service but something needs to be done here. I live in Auburn and have had this issue several times but yesterday was the worst. We went here and the kiosks were broken and the store was a mess. We went to the counter and the staff was in the back chatting, nobody was coming to take our order until I had to call for them. I then ordered a small fry and 2 shakes and they had us waiting 20 minutes without coming to the counter. The line was growing behind me and in the drive thru and people were getting angry. I finally called to them and not only were they rude, they didn't put in my order! Finally when I got my food, the fries were cold. I hope a Manager sees this, this is unacceptable. read more

Staff was unprofessional and rude. They were also cursing about other customers and taking forever just for a drink. Which they also got wrong. Eh. I'll avoid this place when I'm in the area again. read more

This is one of the filthiest McDonald's I have seen in a long time. There is trash and food everywhere in the lobby you can tell in the kitchen area doesn't get cleaned that well. They were fries on the ordering counter, next to the rat trap. I feel that if I eat here I'm going to end up getting sick. read more

The worse McDonald's I've ever been to--staff surly, there is no customer service and I couldn't find one table that was clean.

I was there at 9:30 at night and the place was filthy all the table where dirty the drink station had trash every where and to top it off my food was cold I will not return there again read more

The worst Mcdonald's ever! 30 min wait consistently via the drive thru, rude employees (there are a few very good ones), and extremely overpriced. Go to the route 20 location if possible. This one is a consistently a headache. $$$ read more

so I worked a 14 hr shift and wanted some food after my shift, I've been standing all day, i made a order for table service 19. it's 755pm when I made my order and did not receive it till 8:08, on my bag it says table 19, he called my name twice I told him I was over here and he responded well come get it, first off if I asked for table service just bring me my food, I'm tired and sore and I don't want to stand if I don't have too. Also that's rude man, walk to me. did the worker bring me my food...no it was actually a very nice child who grabbed it for me...that's not his responsibility to pick up the slack of the worker. two things, it was dead inside the restaurant and out in the drive thru and two if you can't take the two seconds to walk out with a tray and bring me my food then why are you working counter, and if you don't want to bring the food ask a team member to do it if you are busy. i understand I'm just exhausted and this pushed me over the edge but come on man throw me a bone and pay attention to what the receipt says read more

Been a few times to this location. Usually pretty busy at peak times and on a busy road. They're pretty efficient!

Fries cold and burger made me Ill. I generally am not too critical of fast food but this was a big waste of money.

Ordered curbside. Waited 10 minutes, had to go into the store in the rain. Get to the cashier, she apologized and mumbled something about either not having someone to bring it out ( saw no less than three employees standing around) or nobody bothered to bring it out. I asked for the manager, named either Issac or Isaiah. He came over smirking that I wanted to speak to him ( I couldn't understand the lady). I said we were waiting 10 minutes and my food was sitting on the counter getting cold. He smirked and said the mobile app takes time. I called BS. He said, so what do you want me to do about it. I told him I will call corporate. Never going back. read more

Dont go to this "Wack Arnolds" in Auburn Ma. if you expect your food to be fresh and hot. They are serving cold burger patties that been sitting all day with burnt bacon. I called to complain about my food being disgustingly gross and telling the manager my issue and she basically didn't give a damn. She said they fixed your order, i said no it was even worse the second time. She kept trying to ignore the issue and basically brushed it off not give a flying f**k. I asked who is the owner of this "Wack Arnolds"? She said the owner of this "Wack Arnolds"name was Jorge. ATTENTION! JORGE!! make sure you get managers who actually care when customers have issues with the food they order and PAY FOR!!!! Your "Wack Arnolds" is straight trash!!!! Next time i want some McDonald's, i will drive into Worcester to Shrewsbury st. That manager actually cares about the business and customers. Stay away from this trash bin. Yeah I referred to this place as "Wack Arnolds" because thats what people need to call it. read more

This is a great McDonalds. It's located across from a high school so it gets busy around the time the students get out. The lines can get pretty long but the employees are quick and surprisingly efficient. The waits are substantially shorter than other McDonalds which makes it much more favorable. The interior is clean and spacious. There's usually enough seating even when it gets busy. The staff is quick to clean and sanitize tables. The restrooms are as clean as restrooms can be. I always drive the extra few miles to go to this one. I'd recommend this one over the other McDonalds in the vicinity. read more

I open the bag.. 100% wrong Went back in line, gave my order # said it was wrong they screwed it up 2 more times. Blind leading the blind. Hi, I felt it was important to leave this review as a frequent customer to the Auburn McDonald's. Yesterday, I had stopped by and on approaching the window, there was a boy with curly hair standing behind the window, who was not wearing any sort of uniform, giving my partner and I the middle finger. This really ruined my entire experience here and I don't think I will be returning. read more

Go to any McDonald's besides the auburn one. Watered down drinks, you need to ask for sauce three times and double check and still get an attitude when you ask for it. Stingy? Rude? Idk what's not right about this place it's just not good. read more

How does anyone give them any compliments! Horrible service, horrible attitudes, horrible personnel. The owner and the franchise should shut this place down and start over. To get put in a waiting line for a big Mac,because you don't want your timer to run..... Than to get cold fries! I have battled with the customer service here in New England since I moved here a year ago,and several times I've bit my tongue about this unprofessionally ran McD's.... But enough is enough, and yesterday was the straw that broke my back. This place is the worst McDonalds I've ever been, yes ever! read more

McDonalds in Auburn, MA I'm very disappointed this was one of my favorite McDonald's to go too. for starters the bathrooms were not clean the hand dryer was not working both of them there was no TP on despensers. In the Men's bathroom the water in the sink was not working. My husband, and grandson put soap on there hands and walked out without rinsing their hands because of that. How do the employees wash their hands when they go to the bathroom??? Order our meals 2 Quarter pounders one was with extra pickles and the lady that was putting the food together put one of Quarters at the side had the pickles added it was not a special order by the time I got my meal everything was cold. There was empty french fries containers and french fries on the floor. I haven't been inside a McDonalds over a year since the pandemic. I didn't care for the service needs a better management. This is my first time giving a bad review. read more

Whenever I am visiting my family in Worcester and I am craving for McDonald's, this location is my to go. I know you will probably say " isn't every McDonald's the same?" Well... Not really. This location is very clean and the service here is awesome. It's probably the only McDonald's around the area that deserves 5 stars. The staffs are always friendly. The way they bag your food is perfect. My food is never messy and fries are never over salted. This location tends to get very busy and long lines, but the waiting time isn't that long. read more

I went through the line for breakfast today. There was a misunderstanding in the ordering process. Food is always hot and good which i cant say for many mcdonalds but this one is great!

This is a superbly clean, fresh location. The food is always phenomenally fresh and clean, and the employees fantastic. There are the occasional hiccups due to some new employee who is still learning customer service but that is to be expected at times. The managers are fantastic. Did I say the place is clean? The food is always hot and fresh? Yes. Until.. It is no longer owned by McDonald's Corp and is now a franchise. Quality is already suffering. Please don't make me update this in a couple months. read more

As I write this review, it is 11pm. The web notes this location as open until MIDNIGHT. AT 10:35 tonight, with all the lights on, I sat and waited AT the drive through for several minutes, before a disembodied voice came on and said "WE'RE CLOSED." The food their is great, not to much pink slime but not to little. I also like it because it's close to the high school and shit like that.

My friend and I stopped there around 10:20pm last night on 12/29. We drove through the drive through, greeted the person on the other side of the intercom and ordered our food. When we received no response, we waited a few minutes and then decided to drive to the window. A male employee with glasses greeted us and said he was having technical difficulties but when he fixed it, we had already driven off. We informed him that we were waiting for a few minutes. He ignored this asked us for our order. My friend greeted him and stated that she wanted items off the pick 2 menu. Before she could finish her order, the employee interrupted her and told her she doesn't have to say that, and orders her to just state the items she wants. This shocked both of us as we were thrown off by how rude he was. My friend stated that she will try again at the drive through window and encouraged him to fix the operating system. We drove through again but while she was ordering, my friends voice got choked up so we decided to park the car and order in the store. When we stepped foot into the store, the same employee told us that he would not be serving us and told us that he called the police. Shocked, we asked why? At first he ignored us and told us that he called the police again. With further prompting, he asked us if it was just us at the drive through? The nature of his question was confusing as there were other customers in the drive through and we had informed him that we would be going through the drive through again. He didn't provide any further details but continued to threaten us with the police. We left and needless to say, we were humiliated and dissatisfied. He was rude, impatient and lacks proper customer service skills. read more
