With my 2-part visit, I was greeted both times by Demetrius, the Cashier, the Color Advisor (unbiased approach of course) & the Color Mixer. The 1st visit, he showed me around the enormous palettes of color where I got paint schooled...a touch up course never hurts. After 30 minutes of going back & forth with my hue of preferences, I selected my 2 swatches of color. On my next visit, Demetrius welcomed me back & asked if I was ready to mix those vibrant colors I picked out...nice for him to remember me. He juggled all the of customers including myself with an engaging & witty persona. My wait was just a few minutes until my unique cans of color was ready to go. The store is well kept & organized, even in the mixing area. There are many 'Did You Know or How To' stations throughout the store so you can self educate yourself & become a master of the brush, or roll or spray gun. I did an in-store sign up for their Paint Perks program & received an instant $10 off coupon that I was able to apply to my purchase. The store is located down the street from MOM's Organic, next to a Chuck E. Cheese. I received real good customer service from Demetrius, I'm happy that I caught a good sale with additional savings & enjoyed my shopping experience that was fun & educating.

He was explaining something about how BM categorizes their paint collections. I was learning something new, but there was something that was bothering me about the guy. After a couple of minutes, I realized he wasn't masked. NONE of the people working in the store were masked. Not sure why they think the mask mandate in MoCo doesn't apply to them, but if they don't care enough about their customers or each other to put a mask on their faces when they're in contact with the public, I can easily say that's not a company I want to do business with. In general, I think the prices are pretty similar or a bit lower compared to those in other places. Unfortunately, parking is a bit of a mess, primarily because two of the three entrances for vehicles are located right next to two VERY busy intersections. For one entrance/exit, it's virtually impossible to make a left turn leaving the shopping center, and you can make only right turns for another exit. However, I will not necessarily fault Strosniders for this because these horrible parking situations seem to be pretty standard in this area. It's as if developers throw a million and three stores in a shopping complex without any regard to the parking situation or traffic patterns. Also (as of Jan 2026), the store is dog-friendly.
