All day long. This is the place to go. I don't know why anyone goes to a dealer. My Toyota dealer…read more(doesn't matter which because they all stink equally) during my free routine service told me I needed new tires and quoted me a high number. Went to Labarges. They told my nope. My tires were good. Another routine service. The dealer said I needed new brakes. Labarges agreed, but half as expensive. Most recently. My fan was making a weird noise so I thought they might cover the repair since I was at 40k miles, just outside the warranty of course. They also noticed my state inspection was overdue. Had to pay the dealer a $189 "diagnostic fee" to discover it was just acorns clogging a filter so I needed a need filter and of courses the acorns removed. $21 for state inspection which is failed because I didn't realize this, but I had two chipped taillights (my daughter is 17 and I'll leave it at that) so I'm $250 into the dealer and they tell me it's another $700+ to repair the taillights. So I stop at Labarges. They tell me to go to a junk yard or eBay and order a left inner and a right outer tail light and they'll pop them in for me. $155 on eBay brand new. And I happened to have a slow leak so they said that the sensor is starting to go, it he cleaned it up, but the aluminum sensors are garbage so they wanted me I'll likely need to replace them eventually. Charge to replace the headlights, cleanup sensor, and repair slow leak. $50 because it took them 30 minutes to do all that work. They charge you for the time they spend. A novel thought no? For anyone looking for a mechanic, why go anywhere else? They saved me over $1,000 on my most recent visits from what the dealer wanted to charge me.

The building has the feel of my hometown mechanic and the issue was handled as it would have been at home, right down to the product manufacturer. The price was certainly comparable and really a bargain because I didn't wait a week for it.

I moved to Watervliet a couple of years ago but I still trek 15 miles to come here. Follow up - Here is why I love these guys. Through no fault of their own, Lia was contacting us Honda owners about faulty air bags. They would repair the air bags for free as part of the recall. Fair enough. Well clearly out to score from this, they did a ...wait for it...FREE inspection. Isn't that nice of them? Well surprise surprise... Lia found half a dozen things "wrong" they were so graciously happy to "fix". Things like a supposed corroded fuel pump, worn brake pads (which I just recently had replaced, and on and on. I said no thanks, and a couple of weeks later took the car to Warren Tire for an oil change. I asked them to run through the list while I was there. Guess what? Warren Tire said NOTHING on the list needed fixing. They could have charged me an arm and a leg and I'd never have known. I love these guys.

And most importantly (in my opinion, at least) they worked on my car immediately. They even invited me to bring my dog into the waiting room, which is very clean and comfortable. This is the first review I have written, but these folks really provide a pleasurable experience and I strongly recommend them.

I was tired of…read moreMavis always trying to sell you something you don't want (or need) and dealing with the grumpy, horrible manager now at Wal-Mart tire dept. I found the snow tires I wanted online, went to Grand Premier's website and requested a quote. That took a few days but that was during Thanksgiving holidays so I have to cut them some slack on that. I ordered the tires on Monday. Tues afternoon I got the call that they were in. I went there right after work. I paid for them up front - yes paid for them BEFORE they were installed (which to me meant that they weren't going to try and sell me on any additional services) and told to pull up right behind the red car over there. Soon I was told to pull into a garage bay. There are people all over the place. They have workers, supervisors, managers all making sure that the job gets done right. And those in charge aren't just standing around waiting for something to happen. They're watching everything and making sure that everything happens right. These guys know tires. So, you sit in your car and it's almost like a NASCAR pitstop, but slower paced. They work while you're in the car. Two man crews. One on each side. I had to move a tire from the back to the front and put two new snows on the back. The two guys working on my car were well-coordinated making sure they had the car jacked up so they can do what needed to be done. One supervisor made sure that the wheels were installed with the wheels facing in the right direction - apparently it does matter - and it makes sense especially if they're snow tires designed to grip the road. Then as they finished up, one guy put the bolts on with the air wrench while the other followed behind with the torque wrench. It was like watching a well-rehearsed, greasy ballet from backstage. They were done in no time at all and I was on my way home. From the park and ride to home it was an hour and a half - with a tire change in between. This place is amazing. I'll be back to get snows on my front tires in a few weeks. My wife will be going there for tires on her vehicle as well. All in all, I'm a very happy customer!! NOTE: This is a dupe of another review I posted earlier on a different newly created account because computers like auto-filling in everything for you these days. So, if admins can delete the other and keep this one, that would be great!
