Additionally, I ordered a personal diagnostic scanner from Amazon, which was easy to use, especially after viewing an online video that was specific to my vehicle. With my personal diagnostic vehicle scan compared to those from Autozone, I was preliminarily able to obtain some useful information to make an informed decision about how to proceed with the issue. Though I was not using this information as the final decision maker, it was a good starting point to return to the car dealership with some level of knowledge about the problem. The Autozone tech was very helpful. He provided useful printed information about the problem. The process was efficient. It was an overall good experience for me.

They let me borrow an OBII reader (battery is going bad) and the staffer Jamie even verified the problem with their dedicated battery tester. Above and beyond, I didn't even buy anything today. The relay I got here didn't work and just got hot (it showed signs of being defective). Went back to get a refund. I casually explained to the employee that I needed a new one because the first one was getting hot and just not working. Right off the bat he began gaslighting me that the issue wasn't the relay and was most likely a crossed wire. I disagreed, got a new relay and went on my way. That one didn't work either. I went to a different store (Ellicott City) and explained that the relays clearly weren't working and they refused to refund me because they are electronic parts. I didn't do the exchange again because they clearly weren't compatible with my vehicle or just plain cheap. I got a used Ford brand relay off ebay and it works just fine. Long story short I'm never going back to Advance Auto Parts. Bad experience all around.

As per him the engine he is going to replace will be in good working condition, otherwise he will pay the cost of the labor. But unfortunately the replaced engine was found bad as well.This practice was repeated three time. The third and final attempt worked. I lost more than $2500/- in the shape of labor cost. I supposed to get this money back from Calton Auto Parts which I was promised by the Manager. But still on I have not received any penny or labor charges. Every time I called to the company, Mr. Ricky, Manager tells me that the check is on the way. Just the precaution for all the customers.

Apparently, the items were by mistake sent out without being checked over for defects. The company acknowledged this and credited me for their mistake. They did advise to always get pictures emailed before ordering from a salvage yard which will be very helpful to anyone who orders. Since I couldn't remove the rating from before , I wanted to give credit to the staff who graciously helped resolve the issues with our order.
