This is what they now are calling a pickle spear. Two bites and it's gone

I've eaten there for years. I've gone though getting a nice pile of free standing potato chips to a pathetic bag of Kettle chips. From a decent serving of potato salad on my plate to a premeasured little cup. They went from having a big jar of pickles to serve yourself to giving you a pickle spear if you asked. But now it's a little two bite pickle chip at best. Ridiculous.

I ordered extra chicken salad... paid and extra $1.35 I believe and this is what my sandwich looks like. This is the second time this has happened. Just sad.

One of my favorite national chains finally getting another location in the area, the mobile app is smart and intuitive offering all the great ways to customize items especially triggering my fancy with able to load up sandwiches with spinach and peppers, the rewards program is wonderful, and this location boasts a fresh new building and friendly staff. I ordered takeout with the app getting the reuben and a Southwest sandwich both made perfectly and loaded up on moist and savory meats and veggies. Both were enjoyed by me and a few others within the hour for dinner, like seeing paper based take out boxes! Much better for the trees and water cycle - definitely an easy fast food option for West Lafayette knowing they can get properly cooked ingredients on a large menu. My mom loves the huge spuds! I'm stuck on the chili and broccoli sides especially as few places offer a healthy side menu. It's all good to go here and real fine to dine in.

Soo.. I was hired at McAlisters in Plainfield in early March. WHERE AND WHO I LOVED WORKING WITH. but then I moved back to town and started at the West Side location which was built the same month I started in Plainfield. I came home & I was very open with my managers at both jobs, (McA & Yata) about my last year, my therapy, & my situations at the time. I tried to contact many people about the people in charge of this store because especially at the time and the regional manager Amber did nothing. Then her boss Tom came when he heard that one of the managers was talking about how she pictured all of us NAKED & how we all had SEX. (In better wording.) the stores attitude depended on the assistant manager most times. The text message screen shots tell them all. There was so much that happened including them selling expired meat. If you wanna work with children go to one of the elementary school cafeterias. They will know how to manage & lead people more and what's right instead of thinking they're your minions. At first it was all fun and games until it wasn't. -Cutting hours for going to higher ups -Refusing my day off for therapy due to a "black out" schedule that was never mentioned -management is petty and refuses to talk to you -after I didn't show the day I had therapy *refer to allison and Nicole's screenshots* -they will give you the silent treatment while at work -single you out -rules that apply to those they don't like -the GM screaming at the assistant manager calling her a bitch in front of a group of toddlers & their parents *refer to Malik's texts* -never sending my W2s -most of the other employees didn't speak up because of how they saw the management treating me when I was put as the face of texting upper management (which originally was never me but I never corrected them because I could take it) -Never even told me about my employment or my status. -My mom is the DON of Bright Star told her girls not to eat at the West Side location and a couple weeks later 2 of her girls did and they got sick from it.

I ordered a soup + mac & cheese. The food itself is okay but it was pretty pricey and the portions were not that good.

The Homestead - Salad bar ham & cheese which we split

You place your order as soon as you enter. We were unsure as to how it worked so went to look at the salad bar. It was ok nothing spectacular. They also had soup. All food in this area is weighed and you pay by the ounce. Reminded me of a hospital cafeteria except it was more expensive. I was never sure how much per ounce. A friend had the chicken salad sandwich which was on the most wonderful croissant. Chicken salad is very thickly applied. It was good not over the top but good also we split a coconut cream pie. It was on the heavy side a lot of coconut and not much pudding. I like my coconut cream nice and fluffy. . For a very small salad and the chicken sandwich, it was 39. Dollars a bit much.

Then the worker came over to check how our food was and if we needed anything else. Highly recommend the BLT or the BBQ Grilled Cheese. If you do the meal, get the parmesan ranch style chips. The portions were great! The interior has a small store and a dining area beside the salad bar. The restroom is small but has a baby changing area if needed.
