This was the first time I been to Mc Alister's Deli. This one is in a two called troy Alabama. I was visiting family in this area and I seen t mobile Tuesday gave away a free meal. So I stopped in to try it. First off the place was clean and looked like a nice restaurant. Staff was professional and polite. Did a very good job. I ordered the club with a tomato cucumber waited. And got a sweet tea Didn't have a long waite. Yo get my order. The teas was good for a sweet tea one of the best I had but not the best. But good. The salad was good for it juts being onions tomato and cucumbers. The club had turkey bacon and cheese it was very good. I do recommend trying McAllister's at lest once . Can't say enough great things about our experience here. My wife, two daughters under two, and I were making a pit stop on our journey through town and were greeted with kindness, generosity, and a lovely meal. The staff even treated our 1.5 year old to a cup of water with a splash of juice in it, and a cup a fruit, neither of which we asked for. We are grateful to the folks who made a roadtrip with two young kids brighter. Thank you, from all four of us. read more

Food isn't worth the amount of time they make you wait. Wasn't a busy time at all when we went, 2 people ahead of us in line. Cashier walked around on the phone ignoring the customers in line, waited 40 mins for a food. Half the tables in the restaurant were dirty. Napkin dispensers flung dust all over the place when you'd grab a napkin. read more

Very disappointed in this McAlister's--tables weren't cleaned off, restrooms needed cleaning, food was just ok when we finally got it, and one of our orders was completely wrong and had to be returned. Management needs to step in! read more

Don't be in a hurry to go and eat here. The staff practically ignored us at every turn. At first, I thought they only had 2 employees working so I had sympathy, but it turns out there were more working in the back. They apparently could only work on one order at the time. We ordered our food at 1:05, and did not receive our food until 1:50. Seems a little too long for this place. Have enjoyed other McAlisters, but I would steer clear of this one. read more

We ordered two veggie sandwiches and they let us know they were out of avocado, which is fine, I know it's hard to get stuff right now. The sandwiches are supposed to have spinach, cucumbers, tomatoes, bell peppers, avocado, herb Mayo and salt & pepper. Both sandwiches came out with tomatoes and cucumbers only. No Mayo, peppers or anything else. So I took them back up to the front (the staff was very nice by the way). They said they were going to remake them. When they brought them back out, they had basically just replaced the cucumbers with spinach. They still had no Mayo, peppers or anything else, just tomatoes and spinach only. We were traveling so luckily I had some cheese in the car so I put that on it, but it was still terribly dry and bland. I also ordered a side of tortilla chips and queso, the tortilla chips came in a little baggy that contained maybe 8 chips at most. So I just gave up and went to get a snack at the gas station across the street after we left. Also, the floors were so sticky that I could hear my shoes peeling off the floor with every step. The bathroom was also very gross and the floor looked like it hadn't been mopped in days. So in a nutshell, the staff was very nice and helpful but the food was terrible and the facilities were gross. Better management is desperately needed. read more

I think the earlier reviews were while they were training and working kinks out. Staff friendly, my food has been correct 3 times now one carry out order of the 3. Clean place and didn't take long at all. Now all Troy needs is a nice sit down place other than b graves. read more

I have ordered from this restaurant 3 times and they never get it right. Tonight I went into this restaurant and ordered a Chicken Caesar Wrap and when I got it home there was NO CHICKEN, NO CAESAR, ONLY LETTUCE, CHEESE AND CROUTONS. Had to make a second trip to McAlisters Deli , Troy, AL to get the corrected wrap. read more

The food is good, the staff are nice. Building is nice now that they've stopped mopping the floors with sweet tea. The problem is that EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. we go something in the order is wrong. It's a running joke I think to myself "wonder what they are going to mess up this time?" You'd think that an online order would be a sure fire way to get what you ordered too...nope. Same problem. Sometimes it's something small like sauce on a sandwich. One time a whole sandwich was missing in the order. If this is happening to me every time, it's got to be happening to everyone else too. read more

The other review was about the staff being nice and the food being bad. My experience is the complete opposite, the food is pretty good (kind of pricy), but the staff is not the best. Food can take anywhere from 20-40 minutes to get to you, but it tastes pretty good to me. The staff here can be somewhat rude and a new manager is definitely needed. read more
