Cheese cup not filled completely and told it would cost an additional $2.50 to fill the rest up.

1st: asked Jordyn the cashier how to interpret the calories in the parenthesis... because beside the item it would say (810/440)... she didn't know so she asked the manager... mgr replies" idk, they don't tell me that stuff". And no it didn't seem to be the sandwich size cal count cuz both a 6" and 12" sandwich would have different numbers in parenthesis. So I said ok and proceeded with my order. I ordered a spud that came with cheese sauce... (see pic below).... I asked the girl if she could plz fill the cup up the entire way... she went to the back and the mgr who didn't know how to interpret her own menu board told her no.... The cup is one scoop and topping it off would be an additional $2.50. Really??? . Welp, Thanks McAllister's for going above and beyond to make your customers happy.. Jordyn was sweet but the mgr could use some training in both knowledgeher establishment and customer service.

I ordered the brownie but never got it

Most times i come here the food is good. This time I placed an online order and came through the drive through pickup and they didn't put my brownie in . I love them here and was looking forward to it but i got home and it wasn't there. But everything else was good

I decided to do the pick two option wear you get two halves of whatever you pick. I picked the salad for me to eat for lunch and I picked the half sand which for my husband... but this is not half a salad, it's more like a quarter because I get their salads all the time. Very disappointed and still hungry after my tiny salad.

Hm... half my salad was the nasty end part of the lettuce. Bummer.

Club sandwich was good! Kid sandwich was a bit sad- seemed like they skimped on things. And the Caesar salad....photo attached. Yikes I'll go back a second visit, but hoping it will be a bit better.

Yum! Beats fast food and faster than most of the restaurants in town. Servings are generous and well-made.

The place is a meat lover's daydream--goat, Wagyu beef, turkey, and more cuts of steak and chicken than you can shake a cast-iron skillet at. And the best part? Prices that don't make you wince on the way to the register. We sampled our way through like it was our civic duty, and every bite backed up the hype. The Italian cotechino sausage ended up pulling double duty--first in a pot of collard greens that could make a preacher shout, and then in a potato hash that was nothing short of sinful. The olives? Lord have mercy. Worth the stop all by themselves. Now let's talk atmosphere. This place looks like a gas station that found religion and got saved by a butcher block--and I mean that as the highest compliment. It's got character, grit, and just enough charm to make you want to hang around longer than you planned. Do yourself a favor: don't just think about going--go. Make the trip, take the detour, tell whoever's with you they'll thank you later. And for the love of all things good and right, get the tuna dip. I don't know what they're putting in it, but it ought to be studied by scientists

So close to NYC but so far away too. Would recommend and will be back. The sandwiches were devoured by our guests as well as the sides.

The deck is quite enjoyable for a number of reasons. It is shaded and surrounded by lush vegetation and it's much quieter than inside and more conducive to conversation, especially for folks like me who have profound hearing issues. Service is prompt and attentive here. We decided to share the hot pastrami on rye and the antipasto salad. As you can see from the pic the sandwich is ginormous. So good. The antipasto salad here is unlike any I've ever had in my 77 years! It is composed totally of Capicolla, Genoa, and cotto salami, pepperoni, provolone, Swiss and mozzarella cheese, green and black olives, and artichokes marinated in an Italian dressing. There is no lettuce as in all the antipasto salads I've had before. It is absolutely delicious. We were unable to finish our shared portions of the salad and took easily a whole half portion home to enjoy later. As I'm sure I've said before, there's a reason this store is always packed.

We visited The Local Market because we kept hearing they had "the best Cuban in Destin." After…read moreeating there, I honestly do not understand the hype at all. First off, this is not a real Cuban sandwich. The bread was completely wrong. Real Cuban bread, especially if you've ever had one from Ybor City in Tampa, has a very specific texture and press. I even explained before ordering that I only wanted the outside pressed and toasted, while the inside stays cool. That's how an authentic Cuban is made. Instead, they brought out a sandwich that was heated completely through. The meat, cheese, everything inside was hot. It completely ruined the sandwich. When I politely asked about it, the employee seemed irritated and had an attitude about remaking it. They eventually brought another one out, but honestly it still was not good. The bread tasted wrong and the sandwich itself just wasn't enjoyable. It got worse from there. My grandson ordered chicken tenders and fries. The tenders were bad, and the fries tasted like old grease that should have been changed hours earlier. My wife ordered a shredded chicken and cheese sandwich that honestly smelled questionable, like the chicken may have been turning. The final straw was the fruit cup having visible mold growing in it. At that point we lost our appetite and decided to leave. Very disappointing experience overall. Poor food quality, bad execution, and not worth the money. We will not be returning.
