1/2 Ruben 1/2 Spud Max

One of my favorite lunches. Easy pickup service. Spud Max if you've never tried this loaded potato, it's a must have. Taste the quality of the ingredients in everything on the menu. Located in front of Hobby Lobby so busy lot, add Sandhills at light it's a little tricky in/out. The restaurant is clean always. The team makes sure your order is perfect. Chill deli vibe.

I'm torn between 3 and 4 stars. Humans make mistakes but I just hate it when it's with my food, Gahhh! I wish we could half our ratings sometimes. But anywho....here I go We wanted to try something different so we ordered from McAlister's, despite looking at the reviews. I'm in agreement with some points that have been made previously. I ordered a two (something can't think of the name) but it was a half Reuben with no sauerkraut (as pictured) and chili. The chili was amazing! The sweet tea was great as well. The Reuben....ehhh! Let me explain. I'm not 100% against Sauerkraut, but I'm also not a major fan. That is the reason why I didn't want it. I felt super comfortable when I saw that it was marked on my Sammy box, but I opened it and there it was, in all it's glory...SAUERKRAUT! At this point, we were home, so it was what it was. The sandwich wasn't bad, it just wasn't what I wanted. Plus, I just can't understand how you Mark a box one way but throw a sandwich in there another way! Tuh! This wasn't a deal breaker but you can bet your bottom dollar if I return, I will be checking inside the box! Anyway, on to the next review

Always love the quality of food and service provided here. They never disappoint even when busy.

Why are the cucumber slices as thick as the sandwich! Ugh! Complete nonsense.

What is going on with McAlister's lately? Carry order wrong (again), missing 2 items and the others are just thrown together. Very disappointing and will be a while before we order again. Come on! Cukes as thick as the sandwich.

Came in after a busy lunch rush. Staff was frazzled but worked hard to ensure prompt service, quality food, and a positive environment.

Maybe they were short staffed? Every table needed busing and the laminated menus were filthy.

Really high quality food spot…read more All of dishes were delicious, but I especially recommend the sesame paste noodles. They were perfectly cooked and seasoned-making for an excellent dinner. I did not have a bad bite here. The restaurant is also relaxing to sit in and the food comes out fast. Making for a great combination of good food and service. I highly recommend checking this spot out!

We were instructed to seat ourselves, and was greeted immediately by our server. It's not huge inside but there is plenty of seating along with bar seating as well. We ordered so much! For starters we ordered the Cucumbers with garlic sauce which were so good, the cabbage which was packed with so much flavor, and the spring rolls which I didn't get a chance to try but my mom loved them. We also got an order of the Pan Fried Vegetable buns which were so pillowy soft, and scallion pancakes which were so good. The scallion pancakes were more crispy than what I'm used to and I would have preferred more scallions, but the flavor was still really good. For our course we ordered the Noodles in scallion oil with vegetables and the Sesame pasta noodles with vegetables. Everything was delicious and you get really nice portions. Our server was so nice and checked in us frequently. Overall, we really enjoyed our meal and glad we got a chance to try it out. We'll definitely be back for more!

It was mostly empty on a Wednesday around 3:00. There were so many food options; but both my husband and I had the $10 lunch specials. I had the chicken salad sandwich on a croissant with Mac and cheese as my side. The sandwich was delicious! Both the chicken salad and the bun were great! The Mac and cheese was a good sized portion, but nothing special. Husband had the buffalo chicken sandwich and the bleu cheese Cole slaw. He said the sandwich was just ok; but the Cole slaw was fabulous. I would definitely recommend stopping by here for a mid-week lunch. They have so many $10 lunch specials, and they were well worth the money! The service by Synclair was great too!

The onions and peppers did not seem fresh. They looked off. I was scared to eat them. The actual taste of the chicken philly cheesesteak was good. The fries were good and hot too. I think if I was able to dress my sandwich appropriately, I would have been set.The service was really nice, and it was a good setup to watch sports or hang out.

Yelp did not fail; it wasn't a 5-star experience My food was burnt, not good at all. I had two burnt waffles. I know better. Never go to a chicken place and order a burger or vice versa (cultural phrasing). I was not at a place known for Breakfast or Brunch. Back to the review, the server acknowledged and then said, "They will prepare another." I think "another" meant the two waffles they returned, one. I said to the other server, "Where is the other one (waffle)?" His response wasn't, "Let me send your server over." NOPE, that's not what was said. He said, "Ask your server." I would have asked if he had returned. He didn't return; in fact, no one returned for a while. I shared my disappointment. Our server said, Oh, I thought only one was burnt. The waffle is a strong NO. Please don't order it, as it will be burned. The chicken was perfect. It was seasoned well and cooked perfectly. I enjoyed the chicken. My friend had the burger, and it looked good. It was on what I call Toast Bread. Here are the clues, 1. Everyone had salads or sandwiches. I watched them pass my table. 2. Reviews were about sandwiches. Lesson learned: watch what others are ordering I should have ordered a salad! The review would probably have been better. I don't think the service would have been better. Now the icing on the cake! He brings the bill, and it's over $50 for two people, and he said, I didn't charge for the extra syrup! Dude, I didn't use it as the waffle was burnt!
