Moy and his crew did a great job. The project started and ended on time, even though additional dry rot was discovered and of course, created more work. The guys were great, always on time and cleaned up on a daily basis. We have a tricky driveway, and the other contractors were convinced that they would have to haul the debris out by hand. I was referred to MC Roofing from one of his previous clients. The process from start to finish was perfect. He met with me and sent me a quote within days, which was very reasonable. Even with the added demolition of dry rot, and damage from the squirrels, he repaired all the stucco and wood. He was able to use the previous Spanish tiles in both areas, and this saved me a lot of money. He even replaced the fascia board and it matches my trim. I got water drops from the heater vent inside the house after Tuesday's storm, suspecting something was wrong with my 15-year-old roof. Due to my good experience with MC Roofing a few years ago when I lived in a townhouse, I contacted Moy, who came over even while the rain was still heavy today. Moy inspected the roof, taking a few pictures. He then told me that the roof was still in good condition and may last 3 more years, explaining that the possible cause of the water drops was not the roof, but rather the vent letting in some water when it was super windy and the storm was strong. It was a big relief after hearing about his explanation. Best of all, he didn't charge me anything even though the issue was not related to the roof. Moy is really an honest man to do business with. I highly recommend him and MC Roofing for both honesty and high quality. read more

I had a roof leak shortly we moved into our current house, and was referred to Moy by my insurance contact who Moy recently did roof repair on her house at the time. I count this as one of the most fruitful referrals I've had. Moy's quote was far less expensive than 2 others I called, and Moy and his crew redid the flat portion of our roof and was done in 2 days. He asked me if I wanted to replace the arrestor on top of my chimney and I declined at the time, only to fast forward 3 years and I had yet another leak in my roof due to the arrestor #facepalm. So I had him come out again and replace that, and also add a canopy for our walkway and repair other rusting out edges near our roof. Again, he came out the next day as soon as I told him, gave us another quote that was better than others, and doing the canopy, the arrestor, the ledge, and a drainage pan was done in 2 days. He asked me if I wanted to replace the angled shingles at the front of our house and I punted on that again so there's a good possibility I'll have to call him again :) but I don't think I'll be going with anyone else for my roof needs. Great guy, great service. Already getting compliments from neighbors on his suggestion of replacing the arrestor with a copper one so Moy has a good eye for that also! I own a rental house in Alameda, California. I was notified that my homeowner's insurance was not going to be renewed because of the condition of the roof. We were so happy with our experience when we hired MC Roofing to fix our roof. Our house suffered a lot of damage over the years from rain along with wear and tear. Our parents are much older and unable to maintain the house therefore we literally had more than ten leaks throughout. We requested bids from several roofers and were very pleased we picked MC Roofing to re-roof our house. Throughout the initial bidding process, we were impressed by the professionalism of Moises and Jose. Both answered all of our questions, educated us on roofing specifics and gave us the confidence to make one of the biggest single purchases one makes in a lifetime. The roofing job was complicated by the fact the ceilings in the house are old and all of our skylights were falling apart. Moises took photos of the roof/skylights before the work was done and informed us of what we needed fixed and or replaced.
