We're in a hillside home, which brings a lot of complications. We got blueprints for an addition, an expansion, and multiple internal renovations, including moving multiple walls and a full bath renovation. We had to move out for the job, and John took everything in stride and small tweaks to the original plan were no problem with no additional cost. He was on time, within budget, and on top of that he was just the sweetest man. I couldn't have asked for a better foreman for our huge project. He spent a half day before even committing at our house to confirm every last detail. He's super communicative, sending text regularly and adjusting to your needs. If you discover a possible issue with the work, he corrects it immediately. As the project is yet to be completed, I may update it, but for the time being, we couldn't recommend him enough to be a foreman for your construction project. For clarity, John is not a designer, but his team does fantastic work on anything rendered and fully designed up front.

We were initially referred to Hector (owner) & his team by our pool builder (JM Pools) to do all the masonry, tile, decking, lighting, plants, etc. In the pool building world, there's so many horror stories about going over budget, prolonged waiting, expectations vs reality, etc. We didn't experience any of that working with Hector. Quite the opposite. We came in exactly on budget, finished earlier than expected, & we are absolutely thrilled with the results. I had a decent idea of what I wanted but Hector gave excellent suggestions on multiple design choices. I'm pretty picky when it comes to details & Hector never steered us wrong. His guys were always on time, very polite, never left work unfinished, & were genuinely talented at their craft. If you are thinking about building a pool or doing a similar type project, DEFINITELY give Blue Jay Construction a call. You won't regret it!
