We had a great experience with Eddie and American Home Improvement on our full gut home renovation…read more Eddie stepped in after we had to part ways with another contractor who couldn't provide a clear scope of work and was inconsistent with budget and timelines. From day one, he took charge and completely turned the project around. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful, quickly creating a solid scope of work that met our needs while staying very reasonable within our budget. He made thoughtful recommendations that truly benefited the renovation without unnecessary cost and always looked for ways to help. Eddie ensured the project stayed on track, had consistent oversight, and went above and beyond to get the job done right. Our home is now the best looking in the neighborhood. We highly recommend Eddie and American Home Improvement

We also had new networking run throughout the house and his team worked with the networking team seamlessly. The original ceramic tile floors had been "refurbished" over the decades, but were worn and cracked, with missing and discolored grout, and really just not in line with my ranch house lifestyle decor dreams. The team did a great job removing the tile floors and installing the plank flooring. Jake made many excellent recommendations regarding the upgrades to not only the floors and baseboards, but also improving the door casings and interior millwork. Their attention to the details made all the difference! Jake and his crew were always prompt to address my questions and concerns, and I had more than a few! :) . The level of professionalism, friendliness, and expertise shown by Ofir, his wife Shimi, and the team was truly unmatched. They were communicative, always on time, and gave us timelines that were always met. Their work and results are truly of the highest quality. We were never left questioning when or how work would get done. You should seriously choose Ofir construction for any home project moving forward. Slightly on the more expensive side, but still reasonable, and worth it to feel comfortable with the quality of work, and to have your project completed on time, which can be hard to come by with larger projects! All bathrooms look amazing now, but especially our master bathroom, which went from a drab bathroom with a tub and curtain rod, to an open concept bathroom with a walk-in rainfall shower, and custom vanity with vessel sinks - feels like a bathroom you'd find at the 1 hotel (Miami or Hanalei)!

We were initially referred to Hector (owner) & his team by our pool builder (JM Pools) to do all the masonry, tile, decking, lighting, plants, etc. In the pool building world, there's so many horror stories about going over budget, prolonged waiting, expectations vs reality, etc. We didn't experience any of that working with Hector. Quite the opposite. We came in exactly on budget, finished earlier than expected, & we are absolutely thrilled with the results. I had a decent idea of what I wanted but Hector gave excellent suggestions on multiple design choices. I'm pretty picky when it comes to details & Hector never steered us wrong. His guys were always on time, very polite, never left work unfinished, & were genuinely talented at their craft. If you are thinking about building a pool or doing a similar type project, DEFINITELY give Blue Jay Construction a call. You won't regret it!

We hired this team for a major structural renovation--adding a loft in our high-ceiling living…read moreroom, building a wet bar underneath it, and replacing our kitchen's back door and window with a beautiful bifold door. (Note: The furniture bar cabinets and library were added later on and were not part of this contractor's project). From start to finish, the entire team was extremely professional, dedicated, and highly skilled. On the very first day we met, Nir helped design a 3D view of the project that perfectly captured exactly what we had envisioned. Throughout the build, we had a weekly walkthrough with Nir to check if we had any questions or concerns, which kept communication incredibly clear. Elba was also an excellent project coordinator who was always available to answer our questions and keep everything on track daily. The construction crew themselves were clearly very experienced and knowledgeable; they followed our approved plans meticulously and were happy to accommodate extra requests along the way. You can truly gauge the quality of their work by the fact that every single city inspector visit passed on the first try--nothing ever had to be rescheduled or redone because everything was built perfectly to plan. Additionally, all of the finishes--from the drywalling to the trim work and paint--were done with high-quality materials and top-tier craftsmanship. Overall, it was a great experience, and we highly recommend them!

I was first referred to Preferred Builders by my tax preparer, Happily, my first repair/remodel turned out wonderfully so I immediately started a remodel on my own home. Scope of work: remove all the carpeting in the house and install laminate plank flooring in those areas. The travertine flooring in the entry, kitchen and hallway had large craters which collected dirt and water residue after washing. I had the floor steamed, the craters filled and the whole floor resealed. I had a gasline installed in the kitchen and a new gas oven installed. I also had a complete bathroom remodel which included removing a huge jacuzzi tub and installing an elegant and safe walk in shower. For the bathroom Nir listened to my concerns and needs and then gave me two 3-D renderings of my options. Elba was fabulous and fast with permits, a purchase list and provided weekly job schedules and updates. I have now completed this remodel and I can't be happier. My Preferred Builders team was pure gold! I highly recommend Nir, Elba and Orel, the Foreman. Orel was caring and his experience was invaluable, Roman, (drywall, moldings, paint, flooring) Carlo (beautiful tile work) and Abnir were all professional, caring and kind. My remodel was reasonable and fast. I definitely recommend Preferred and I already have.
