It's not possible to treat customers worse than this guy. He's so quick to take your deposit and then you have to chase him up over and over constantly trying to get him to deliver. He does not answer texts or his cellphone or office line after you pay him. We're still waiting four weeks for him to deliver. You can buy countertops from just about anywhere, from Home Depot to specialty kitchen stores. But if you want to work with someone that not only knows all the product lines but also does the installation and does it right, go to Sawaed. On first meeting he'll come to you job site and take measurements and work with you on the best configuration to minimize slab purchase (note, all solid surface type stuff like Silestone, Corian, Caesar, Pental, etc. come in slabs, so you need to order smart or you'll waste a lot). And he knows the surfaces from all the companies so he can help you pick what will look right, but also what will be most cost effective. He'll suggest alternatives to the ones you found that might be less expensive, better quality or fit better. Then comes the install. There is a lot of detail work here. Sawaed's team does a bunch at the shop, but then it takes real artisans on site to do the install. Cutting and grinding to make things fit right. Count on it being done well the first time with Sawaed. Happy customer. read more

Sawaed was hired by my mom's contractor to install countertops in her kitchen and bathroom. My mom picked out the stone she wanted at another store, and Sawaed convinced our contractor to buy the stone from him instead. We now realize this was a bad move. Once Sawaed received the advanced funds for both the quartz slabs and installation costs, we could not get him to come and do the work. As a result, my elderly mother spent 8 weeks without a functional kitchen, while waiting for Sawaed to keep his appointment, which he cancelled several times without even calling the contractor to let him know. This resulted in a lot of tension and delays for my mom's condo renovation. Finally, a decision was made by our contractor to hire another stone installer and he requested that Sawaed transfer over the quartz slabs to the new installer. Sawaed did not respond to repeated calls from the contractor. Also, when the quartz slabs finally arrived, it came to light they were purchased that same day by Sawaed, meaning he had never used the money to buy them all that time we were waiting for him to come and install it! Based on the above, I would not recommend this stone installer to anyone. read more

Paid for half up front for Caesar Stone to be installed in November. They said 2 weeks. I took time off work & called Monday to get the day they would be there that week. My counter was not installed until 5 month later (April). If I had know that it was going to be 5 month, I would have gone with another company. Hired Sawed to install Quartz counter tops in my kitchen - 1950's galley kitchen. It turned out spectacular, couldn't be any happier! He delivered what he promised, on time, beautiful workmanship, and no issues at all. Kitchen is about ten months old now, and the Quartz seams/joints are flawless and the sink was epoxied in place as an under mount type and it is still perfectly attached as the day he installed it.
