We are typically seated right away, and the chips and salsa arrive almost immediately. One thing that has changed recently is their chips and salsa policy. They used to provide additional chips and salsa at no charge, but now they charge for refills. I believe it was around $3 for an extra order, which feels a little excessive. Our favorite menu item is the fajitas for two, with half chicken and half steak. It comes with six taco shells, a sizzling skillet loaded with meat, peppers, and onions, plus a plate of lettuce, pico, cheese, sour cream, and guacamole. Everything is super flavorful, and it's always more than enough food for us. I also like adding the table salsa to my tacos, although I'll probably do that less often now that extra salsa comes with an added charge. The service is consistently good and attentive, and we're usually in and out without any long wait. While I'm not a fan of the new chips and salsa charge, the food, convenience, and service keep us coming back. Overall, it's a reliable spot that we enjoy visiting.

I love when restaurants offer complimentary chips and salsa--I truly feel that should be a staple at every restaurant, even non-Mexican ones. The steak quesadilla was really good. The steak had great flavor, and the meal itself was very filling. The toppings made it even better. The drinks were also great--strong without feeling like I was drinking pure sugar. Despite our large group, the staff was very attentive and made sure everyone was satisfied. We sat outside, and it was very nice. The vibe was great, and the weather was perfect. I will definitely be coming back, and I would highly recommend this place for large groups.

The waitress was absolutely helpful telling me all the drink choices. I decided on papaya juice. It was pretty watered down. Everything on the menu looked amazing so I started with a beef empanada while I continued to contemplate on my entree. The empanada was huge and delicious especially with the yummy garlic dipping sauce. The hot sauce was definitely hot! Finally I made a decision on the rabo encendido (oxtails) with a side of boniato (fried steamed sweet potato) and congris (Cuban black beans cooked with white rice). The servings were massive. The oxtails were seasoned to perfection and the hot sauce elevated the flavors. I enjoyed my lunch and had enough left over for dinner to share. I would absolutely come back here in ever in the area again.

This is a local business serving American food with a French chef who adds a "twist" as stated in their Yelp profile. This was certainly the case with my order. Located in the Deerfield beach "Cove" shopping plaza, the restaurant doesn't look like much from the outside. Upon entering, my first thought was it's really small and needs a face lift. So, it might be considered a "hole in the wall" by some but turned out a "gem"to me. It was quite busy and we were lucky to be seated right away at the one remaining table. Our server promptly brought our coffee and water. We told her it was our first visit and she spent a good bit of time praising the chef and telling us about the longevity of the restaurant and great food. She also showed us the board with all the daily specials. I ordered the french crepe which was a tasty scrambled combo of eggs, Swiss cheese and ham wrapped in a thin yummy pancake (aka a crepe) . My boyfriend went with a traditional egg, sausage and french toast breakfast. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Everything was cooked perfectly with great flavors. The parking is easy (and free in certain spots) and the prices were very fair. Who cares about the decor, i believe we found a new breakfast spot for sure.

It was obvious that the decor was to provide a peek into "Old School" Cuba, and the suceeded. Canvas art work and paintings of vintage American cars sprawled against the warm wood panel walls complemented by corrugated metal wrapped around the lower portion of the walls and counter provided a distinct industrial and rustic style with small café tables and multi-colored aluminum seating. The scent of smoking meat was evident and the echoes of a metal spatula tapping against the flat grill drew my eyes to the small kitchen where a Cuban Philly sandwich was being cooked (see pic). They brewed me a Cuban colada presented in a common styro cup without a logo, lacking a simple and cheap detail. The coffee provided me a quick jolt of pleasure. The gender neutral bathroom was clean and basic with a square cut distressed style mosaic wall mirror above the sink. Will try the Cuban Philly and of course another colada at their other location on West Atlantic Blvd.
