I really wanted to like this place but Marlene the owner didnt really make it easy. She has a very harsh attitude but i was willing to look away from that as long as she was good to my hair. But after my experiance I just cant. Came in asked for a honey golden blonde balayage and walked out with ash blonde highlights and my hair fried. I had to walk away at one point and cry in the bathroom I did not tell her anything I was in literal shock. Not at all what i asked for and even after showing her multiple pictures of what i wanted. As a customer you go in trsuting the person to give you what you want especially when you are paying the amount $$$ that you are paying. I hated the way i looked i hated the way i felt and i tried to to let it be but i coulndt even run the brush through my hair, it was so fried. I waited two weeks and jsut went to another salon to have color correction done. They showed me the patchy areas i hadnt seen yet. All in all just very dissapointed. Im not in any way trying to bash this salon im hoping that the owner takes this review as constructive criticism and listens to her clients vs. just doing what she wants. Also maybe a tip Do not work on multiple dye jobs at once. As i sat on the chair she had three other women whom she was also doing dye jobs to and i think that also is the reason she over bleached my hair. read more

Where do I start? I came to Marlene because her Instagram states she is a hair extension expert & due to an illness my hair hardly grows. During a hair consult she said the extensions plus her service would be about $550 but after that every month the price would be $150 for a hair lift. LIES. She charges what she wants. Sadly I came back to her twice due to not being able to find another open salon during the pandemic. The first time she charged me $200 & "forgot" I had already sent her a deposit. She laughed it off and charged $170. The next time (&last) I went she charged $180. I told her she said it would be $150, she said "Oh yeah sorry, I thought you were getting something else done." WHAT!? Whatever, my friend stopped coming here as well, she charged her $60 for a root touch up and wanted $385 for full hair dye(black) from another woman next to me getting her hair done. Her prices are outrageous & she's very rude and makes snarky comments. If you like good customer service & HONEST pricing, DO NOT come here. read more

I've been going to my hair stylist Marlene , for over 10 years, and she's truly more than just a stylist to me. She always knows how to perfect my hair and bring me back to life when I need it most-she never fails. She is so professional and the atmosphere at her salon brings tranquility to me every visit. My favorite is hair wash time with a good blow dry. They really take their time so you can relax a bit and enjoy the wash! Over the years, she's become a dear friend, someone who holds so many stories and with whom I've created countless memories. Marlene is awesome! As a mom of 3 little ones, I don't have the luxury to spend hours in a salon. I've gotten my peek-a-boo highlights there and loved them! I had previously went to a different salon for an Ombre - I had the biggest and most obvious line around my head - I had seen Ana's work on Instagram and knew she could help me.. She corrected my line and still to this day (Id say 6-8 months later) my Ombre is still amazing :) I highly recommend Ana! read more
