Anthony is our go to person for HVAC. Long story short,…read moreour heat pump decided to retire in the middle of the 2021 winter season (out of nowhere). I left Anthony a message and he quickly responded to my call and scheduled a time to check out the unit within days. After assessing the unit, he explained that the unit is dead and provided me with a few recommendations, replace what's required or the entire unit. He was very patient with me and explains the pros and cons. At the end, I decided the right thing to do is to replace the entire HVAC unit since the original unit is more than 13 years old. He helped replace my thermostat with Nest and even found a vent that was not connected and fixed it! Anthony is very thorough, professional and made the entire process very easy and not stressful! Price is very reasonable!

Our heating is now comfortable - with appropriate humidity levels and real control over the two zones in our home. Mr. Valenti was patient and expansive answering our many questions during the proposal phase, providing information that enabled us to complete the upgrade and stay within our budget. The work included a redo of our zoning controls, so now each operates independently and as needed, with new thermostats that tailor system operation to our zone preferences. Mr. Valenti completed the work on schedule and with minimal disruption to our household routines. We are quite pleased with Mr. Valenti, his candor and professionalism during the proposal process, and his execution of the work. We look forward to further collaborations with Mr. Valenti for other upgrades in our home and the ongoing maintenance of our system.

This is the third time we used this HVAC service company - and only initially because when I was…read moreaway for work my husband found them in the book during an emergency when the heat wasn't working (they 'sold' him a completely new thermostat system despite ours having been new not that many years before). We had issues subsequently not only with the 2 heating zones not working multiple times (causing them to finally replace one of the new thermostats which was clearly malfunctioning - but not until after the main boss man came and was incredibly rude and tried to weasel out of taking responsibility). Then later when our A/C went out we called for service on that (which was completed sufficiently - but belabored by multiple visits eventually found to be a sticking damper). However, this latest visit to fix our condensate pump after finding a flood on the floor near the furnace (due to them being the only ones to have worked on the system in recent years - and my wish to be loyal as they had in the end -despite the pain - gotten to the root of prior problems) led to the guy fixing the piping to the pump, but never turning the system back on to test. So when we turned it on that night we found our A/C (which had previously been working flawlessly) wasn't functioning. They came today to say/find that the furnace fan wasn't running, and only after pressing for more information said it would be at least 3 days (in 80+ deg heat - with our whole family arriving for a graduation celebration next day) for them to get a new furnace fan motor and motor control board. While relaying this to me the owner (boss man again) started screaming at me that I was a problem, disrespecting his man - which was not the case AT ALL; I was nice and was helping him turn things on/off to try to assist - and that I could take care of my problem. The 2 folks in the house with me witnessing this were appalled. NEVER AGAIN. STAY AWAY!!

I had an amazing experience working with David Mercado and his crew. David is not only a great…read moreperson but also an exceptionally talented HVAC technician, and his expertise is reflected in the quality of work and care his team provides to every customer. For many years, I used a large HVAC company because I knew the owner personally, which made the experience easy. However, after the company was sold, I noticed a significant decline in both the quality of service and attention to detail. I was fortunate to find David for my new HVAC installation, and the difference was immediately apparent. Not only did his team complete a top-quality installation, but David also identified and corrected efficiency issues from the previous system by enlarging the air intake, which significantly improved the system's overall performance. If you're considering a new HVAC installation, upgrading your current system, or dealing with ongoing repair issues, I highly recommend Technique. David and his team are knowledgeable, honest, and take great pride in their work. You won't be disappointed.

He was courteous (put on booties when entering my home) and explained what the issue was after climbing through our attic crawl space to get to the air handlers. Being home with my two kids, I really felt he was honest and friendly. I didn't know we needed to get the A/C system blown out at the end of the summer, and that was the cause of it not working this spring. Thanks to Jorge, now I can better maintain the system. 4 stars instead of 5 because although I'm not sure how similar pricing is across HVAC companies, I thought it was pricey for less than a 1 hour visit.
