You are going to be SO happy you chose this company. This afternoon I was dismayed when my old sofa couldn't fit on the elevator of my 8th floor building. Luckily I called Robert and within an hour he had booked two guys to come by later in the evening. From chatting with him to texting photos to working with his team, everything was professional and respectful. The guys even stayed to help assemble my new sofa! Not a single scratch on the walls - they carried the sofa as if it were a feather. I am so relieved to have this all taken care of. Thank you Robert and Top Hat Movers! Highly recommend! A++++++++

With a 4-5 man crew, I was amazed at how fast and efficiently they were able to work. After an almost 2-hour move out (stairs and a stoop) they moved my stuff into my new apartment in 1 hour! Working with Robert always includes personal attention to your concerns, needs and special items. And he's always thorough with close attention to detail. And the crew is friendly and just cool to work with. He also has bins available to rent and always has additional supplies, boxes, tape, bubble wrap etc. I would hire Top Hat every time honestly, and it's a great feeling to support a local Brooklyn business that's been around for three decades.

Mr. Chris Allen was very clear and upfront with the information about the compound the carrier. When I ask all the pertinent information, he didn't hesitate in providing information to all questions and clear any doubts on my behalf. Pick up and delivery was on time. The carrier was Unique Delivery, LLC. George, the driver provided an excellent service also. I will highly recommend Mr. Chris Allen (US AUTO MOVERS) for any related transportation needs. They told me…read morethey'd do a great job and protect all of my belongings, but I really didn't know what to expect when it came to what would actually be done. I'll tell you that this company exceeded my expectations in many ways! As you can see they took extra precautions when preparing my antique wooden headboard for delivery, which was of the utmost importance to me as it was built by my grandfather. Not only that, but they wrapped multiple items that probably would've been ok without, that spoke volumes to their care towards the items of my house. If it were possible for your houses items to look better than they did before the move, it would be these guys. Would/will be recommending to my friends and family.

After talking to them, I knew I wanted to go with them. Their customer service, attention to details, and organization are 5-star levels. One thing that really stood out to me was that instead of asking me how many boxes I need, they asked me to send them pics of my place and stuff, and they calculated the number of small, medium and large boxes I need. It's so easy to underestimate and get a different price at the end. Also, I know I wanted packers because its speeds up the entire process of moving and settling in. I'm so glad I did with Roadway. It usually takes me over half a week to pack and be stressed for over a week, but Diego and his 3 teammates packed up our studio in 2-3 hours. They're so professional. They moved so quickly with care and accuracy. Most importantly, all my kitchen appliances were wrapped with care and delivered and arrived to my new apartment in the same condition. It took us about 2 hrs to settle in, and they once again unpacked most of the furnitures and reassembled them, making me feel settled in and relaxed. I cannot thank their team enough. They're all so polite, friendly and efficient. Within 1 day, I already feel 95% settled in. It's the easiest, stress-free moving experience I had in a while!

Before they even arrived, I got a tracking link to follow their location just like Uber, which immediately made me feel at ease. Crisanto and his crew showed up right on time and were incredible. They worked quickly but carefully, wrapping all of my furniture and somehow managing three giant mirrors without a single issue. Not one complaint and not one moment of stress. What really stood out was how above and beyond they went. They helped me figure out which part of my couch would actually fit in my space, laid out my rugs, and organized everything so I could still move around my studio comfortably. Also shoutout to one of the crew members who was on his first day. You truly could not tell. The whole team was professional, efficient, and just genuinely great to work with. This was hands down the easiest move I've ever had. If you are debating which moving company to use, this is your sign. Go with them.

My husband and I were planning on renting a uhaul and doing the move ourself to pickup our stuff in…read moremy moms garage in NJ and bring it to Connecticut. Last minute we decided the almost three hour drive each way combined with how much stuff we actually had vs what we thought we had wasn't worth it doing it ourselves. We checked around a few places Sunday night asking for a Tuesday move and Braha was very prompt in replying and had the lowest quote so we went with them. So glad we did! Russ was extremely communicative over text, email and phone and transparent with pricing. We ended up the night before adding a few more items and thirty boxes and the price only went up a bit. The day of the move Klim and Alfonso called me they were stuck in some traffic and would be an hour late which was nice they called. My mom kept texting me while they were packing her garage that these guys were the best and so nice and quick. I felt the same when they arrived for the unpacking. Very professional and delicate with all our stuff. We helped them unload and it got done super fast. The whole team truly made this process so easy that I don't think I can ever move again myself! Will 100% be using them in the future.

Braha did a one bedroom apartment move last week from Englewood, New Jersey to Tampa…read more Pickup - very professional, kind foreman - Showed up an hour late - Showed up WITHOUT the COI which I clearly communicated with email - One of guys asked me if he could have my small packet of jerky sitting in the kitchen and I said "sure." To that he answered "we don't take, we always ask" - completely unprofessional Delivery - so no one keeps us updated of the move, we have to keep calling "dispatch" - Alex, a young gentleman, gives us a delivery window of 8 am to 10am and shows up at 11:30 with other notifying us. Here's where it goes sideways. They do an excellent job putting together the bed and couch. However, they did it hastily & we have damage to out brand new home walls and corners in multiple places. Alex has an attitude, a bad one. They cracked my garbage can and I asked him how we can rectify it and he goes with a look "you're going to claim that?" Mind you this is a $75 stainless steel garbage can with an infrared sensor. Now here comes the TIP. After him denying the damage to the walls, being 1.5 hours late and making me feel foolish for asking about a broken garbage can, he then asks for a tip. I say "I am sorry, I cannot tip you" To that he states "I got into moving because it's hard work with big tips and that we drove all night". Keep in mind I paid a pretty penny for professional packing and unpacking. Tips are OPTIONAL, I shouldn't have to pay nearly 4 grand for an attitude, damaged walls and (over an hour late) on both pickup AND arrival and then being shamed into tipping.

Warning: be prepared to pay cash for their service at job completion…read more James and Jay of Xpress Moving & Logistics did a great job moving our furniture and things from an upstairs apartment to a country house. They were careful, fast, and efficient. I couldn't ask for more. Normally, I would have given them a 5 but didn't because Xpress Moving required cash when complete even though they said I could use Zelle which I tried. The Zelle payment was delayed because it sent the 2FA code to my home phone, miles away. This caused a hold on the transaction for hours while I tried to resolve this via phone, meanwhile I was being charged by Xpress Moving at full rate. Finally, I drove to the bank, withdrew cash, and paid Xpress Moving a much higher bill because of the delay. Although I tried to cancel the original Zelle payment after paying Xpress cash, it went through later in the day to Xpress Moving and as of four days later I have only received a partial refund from Xpress for this over payment.

The day of the move came, 3 movers came one of which did a walk through. He tells me there's no TV on his list, so he would need the charge me for a TV box. I say ok fine. We then sit and I sign off on the paperwork and I give him my credit card to pay the remaining balance. He then tells me that tolls are not covered in the quote and that tolls needed to be paid in cash. Wish I would've known this prior to, but again not a big deal I go to bank and get the toll money. I returned from the bank and the movers are finished and would like for me to do a walk through. I walk through and see several items that still needed to go. The lead mover gives me an attitude and states that I should be charged extra because my cooler(the size of a box) was not on his list! Fast forward I fly out to my new place a week later only to find a box missing. I immediately contact the sales representative Fred. Fred responded that yes they in fact had the box. Great I'm thinking to myself. However, I'm also thinking in my head... well were you going to tell me you failed to deliver the box??? Why did it take for me to reach out to you, about something to forgot to deliver!!! Fred goes on to tell me that they have a job coming my way in 2weeks and that my box, that was careless left on the truck, would be delivered then. I agree to these terms and patiently wait. 2weeks pass and I haven't heard a peep from anyone. No communication whatsoever. I reach out to Fred to follow up. He tells me that the job coming my way had been cancelled and they are "trying to figure something out". I say well why not just mail it. Fred says well worst case scenario that's what we'll do. Umm excuse me... you screwed up and now you're being cheap about shipping a box. Wow!!! I asked Fred when will he have an answer, he tells me to call back that Friday. Friday rolls around, now Fred is nowhere to be found, not in the office, and doesn't respond to any of my emails. I wait another week, Fred answers the line and tells me that he "thinks" the dispatcher mailed the box, but he'll call me back at the end of the week once he knows for sure. At this point it's now 1 month after my move date and I'm still with out my box or a straight answer as to when it will arrive. I got to a point where I called almost everyday and the office staff would tell me they couldn't help I would need to speak to Fred. On October 3rd I call and a woman I'm not even sure was speaking English hung up on me. I call back, a man answers and tells me again Fred nor the dispatcher are in. I ask to escalate my call to the owner, I was refused! Told the owner was not in. I said leaving a message is not an option, if the dispatcher is out, please place me on hold and contact him via cell phone. The male says "no he's out in the field, he's not going to answer this type of call". Wow, seriously where is the costumer service. I'm having to harass and chase this company for something that belongs to me!!!! Unbelievable Thankfully I still had one of the mover's phone number in my call log. I call him and he tells me to call the office, because he doesn't know what I'm talking about. I explain that I plan to call him everyday until I can get a straight answer he simply responds "ok that's fine". 2 minutes later the lead mover calls me back stating that he spoke to the dispatcher and he'll mail my box out soon. I reply that soon is very vague, and that's what I was told 2weeks ago. The mover responded "well I don't know what else to tell you" and hung up. Again this company could careless about its customers. Smh. A few minutes later the dispatcher calls me and identified himself as Tamas. He's very hostile and yelling at me telling me that he's not a liar and doesn't need my box of pictures or my business. He then goes on to tell me he works 16hr days and hasn't had the time to ship my box. I explain to Tamas to 1. Lower his voice and 2. I could careless about your work schedule!!! This was your mistake. Sending me my belongings should have been a priority not an afterthought!! I suggested to him if he's so overwhelmed why not have one of your office staff mail my box??? Tamas replies "that's not their job, And that by law he has up to 90 days to send me my belongings ". Again I'm still trying to wrap my brain around such horrible customer service!!!! And it's not as if the move was free, I paid in full for their services. He then tells me he will mail my box the following day. They following day I receive a call from a random number. I answer and a male on the other line says he works for the company and has a delivery in the area and will be at my home at 1:30pm. Umm excuse sir Im at work, and I live alone so no one is home, on such short notice! Long story short, they ended up dropping the box off near my job.
