I called around to some places, and searched online, and the prices I was quoted at other places were significantly higher. I thought about scrapping my iPad, but it does have some sentimental value since it was bought for me by my husband after I passed my CA real estate license exam. After searching some more, I stumbled upon RXTech Repair in Mission Viejo. I sent a request via their online form, asking if they also service my older model iPad. I received a quick email reply, stating the price for replacing the charging port. I had to make sure it was including both labor and the part, as his price was so much more reasonable than other places! When I told Abdullah I would bring my iPad in, he gave me very detailed directions as to where to find the shop. I'm so glad he did, because it's in a shopping center at the corner of La Paz and Marguerite, and there are several shopping centers around there. Even told me where to park! He told me he would try to look at it later on that day (Friday) since he has shorter hours on Saturday and he's closed on Sunday. Sure enough, it was the charging port. He contacted me later that day, telling me when the iPad would be ready for pickup. I went on Saturday before my open house. Paid cash since I didn't want him to have to pay for credit card fees (even though he doesn't charge extra), and I refused to take the $1 change from the cash I gave him. My iPad now works great! Abdullah was so pleasant to work with, took care of my issue quicker than I expected, and I have been telling anyone who will listen to me that it is worth the extra drive from the RSM area to MV for tech repair, as he gives spectacular service at stellar prices! I cracked my iPhone screen pretty badly and needed it fixed. He warranties his work for the lifetime of the phone. The screen isn't from apple but I haven't had any issues so far. It was $200 for my iphone 17 pro. I hope I never crack my screen again, but if I do, I know where Im going.

Unfortunately one of the parts wasn't working properly when it came in, but that was not due to anything Daniel did,but was the fault of the place the part came from. My freezer department was failing to remain frozen. The upper ice maker also had stopped working, but it was a secondary issue. The directions and instructions HP offers give multiple approaches and app installations, all of which failed to successfully install the pdf scan option for Searchable PDF. Greg from Kevin's Computer Service came over to look into it and set up everything on two of my computers. He came on time and had both of them going in about an hour. We were very happy with the service and the on-site visit, so to be extra safe, we also scheduled a remote support scan on both computers for virus & malware detection even though we use both the consumer versions of Malwarebytes and McAfee. The remote support was excellent and went very smoothly.
