When I spoke with Mike at Harris Electric to ask about pricing (his quote came bake at 2.5k for a simple install), I explained how I measured the wire distance and noted that I had received three other quotes from Tesla-certified/recommended electricians that were all over $1,000 less. Instead of addressing my questions professionally, Mike quickly became argumentative. He repeated the same explanation multiple times without really engaging with my concerns. When I attempted to interject and state that I was no longer interested due to both the cost and the tone of the interaction, he raised his voice, used profanity, and ultimately called me a "f***ing clown." There is no reason for that, and no reason for Mike to speak to me the way that he did. The situation escalated further when he began bringing up religion and pushing Jesus into the conversation despite me clearly indicating I was not interested. I ended the call, but he proceeded to call me back multiple times continuing to argue, repeat himself, and boast about his "good reviews" as if that would change how he treated me. At no point was there any meaningful attempt to handle the situation professionally, aside from a few disingenuous "I'm sorry" comments while continuing to speak to me in the same manner. I have never experienced this level of hostility from a contractor. Based on this interaction, I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere. Especially when there are so many other Tesla-certified electricians in the area who are far more professional. No one should be subjected to profanity, personal insults, or unwanted religious discussion when simply trying to obtain a quote and do business.

They refuse to give you a cost estimate, no matter how basic the job or how detailed you describe the problem, until you pay them $70 to come out to your house. Dear Yelpers, please please do NOT normalize this greedy practice by giving this company or any company that does this your business. They'll say it's a standard industry practice. It is not. There are many honest services out there that offer free cost estimates and don't try to manipulate you to buy their products. They'll also say the fee is to compensate for the time that the technicians spend coming out, but that's just being dishonest. That $70 sure as hell ain't going to the worker. I had a plumber come in for a consultation so that I could buy a tank-less water heater. I paid…read morefor a consultation so that I could buy a water heater that fitted with my home set up. I did not want to have to make changes to my house. I wanted to get a system that was compatible with my current set up. He gave me his advice and I ordered a Rheem 36kw tank-less water heater as instructed. He installed it and the next day it blew a fuse. Ok, no biggie. A few days later, it cut off again and would not turn back on. Called in an electrician and it turns out that the plumber didn't know what he was talking about. The fuse in my disconnet box blew because he hooked up the water heater's electrical components dangerously incorrect. The Rheeem he suggested requires 4 double 40 breakers to power it. He hooked it up to 1 double 30 breaker. Of course the system was too strong for the breaker and the wiring. I'm grateful my house didn't catch on fire but now I need to changed the breakers, upgrade wiring, and add additional disconnects to work the system properly. F that plumber. I paid him to avoid this. Enter Mister Electrical to the rescue. The tech came out. He was professional and extremely respectful of my home, even took extra time to make sure he didn't leave a spot behind him. After examining the set up and talking with his senior, the tech said they would take some time to make sure they get it right. He didn't want to give me any misleading information. The Senior plumber, being made aware of my situation, took a few days to go over the manual and my set up to find the best course of action for my problem. After a few days, he came up with a solution to hook it up to 2 double 60 amp breakers and to run it at a lower setting (the normal power settings were far beyond what I could ever use... damn plumber). At the end of the day, I appreciate how Mister Electric took the time to find the best solution to my specific problem. They were always respectful of my home and money. They could have rightfully charged me $5000 to hook it up like the manual basic instruction. But they took the time and effort to learn the system and find a way to save me over $3000 dollars.
