I'd really like to come back another time for proper drinks--they have an impressive wine list and a nice selection of sangrias that caught my eye. We also ordered a Thai green curry cod that comes with cashews infused in the sauce. We had a nut allergy at the table so they were able to remove the cashews to make the dish nut free. Service was decent but this is a dining environment where you are not rushed out the door. Dishes come out sporadically so you are meant for slow dining. This is a good place to celebrate a special occasion or if you just want something different while in Kingston.

But the potato could've used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Kinda like a flavour explosion which was amazing. Definitely try the cheese plate. The flat-iron steak wasn't you typical steak cooked along with a potato side (mashed or fries). The steak was paired with a quinoa mix, "panca pepper demi and aji verde" which were the dark brown/black sauce and the green sauce in the picture. Steak was super tender and with both sauces were phenomenal. On the same vein as the nabulsi cheese plate, these dishes are literally flavours I've never tasted before and they were amazing. I never really tried quinoa either and was skeptical as to how it would pair alongside steak but it was actually quite nice since the texture was so different then the other things we ordered. This place is the definition of a hidden gem for me. Not even a Yelp page (woohoo another business added!) and not signage outside indicating what it is. Hot brown savory gravy melting the lil cheese curds so they were melty over the crispy and salty fries. YUM. Baos were OK! The filling tasted different than what I'm used to but the beef noodle was flavorful for being a light broth, where I'm used to it being dark. Noodles were chewy and good. Their menu is *huge* and I didn't have much time to look thoroughly at it, but will be back soon to try more!

We asked the front desk recommendations. She recommended Dianne's very close walk. We ate outside. It was balmy for Kingston in early June with temps in the 70's F around 8 PM; their average high temp in early June is only upper 60's F (around 20 C). Our server was friendly. She said people are enjoying the first really warm evening of the season. We both got their fish n' chips. It's an Alaskan Pacific haddock as opposed to cod or others used. This is superior to other fish n' chips I've had. This is delicious. Fries were good too, but the fish was the real star and about the best fried fish I've had.

Flavor-wise, I think they needed more. The sauce that came with it did not seem to give justice to the dish. Nice location though. And service was good. Food, unfortunately, felt short of my expectations.
