Not fully open, but the downstairs cocktails and tapas are amazing! Party of four and everyone loved all they ordered.

Gangnam Style implies a posh & whimsical Korean lifestyle & dance, none of which you will find…read morehere! Instead it's a down-to-earth food experience at this Kingston restaurant. This starts from the basic decor to the Korean lady traditionally running the kitchen. Menu prices were very reasonable, catering to the student demographic. Gam Ja Tang (pork bone soup) was a pleasant surprise, with large pieces of pork neck bone and fall-off-the-bone meat in the mildly spicy fresh kimchi broth. But the potato could've used more time to soak up the bold soup flavours. The colourful Bibimbap was served with a nice runny egg but the chopped vegetables caused stirred rice to be watery. That was atoned by a popping platter of Korean Seasoned Fried Chicken in sweet & spicy gochujang sauce. The boneless half portion was huge. Pieces were crunchy & saucy in one bite! This restaurant is a short drive up Princess St from downtown with city parking nearby. Both patio & indoor dining options were available. Service was smooth & easygoing. Glad to enjoy this spot for an authentic Korean meal among the few Asian food options in town.

Passed by this place a couple of times and I always thought it was just a hotel establishment but…read moremy friend was convinced there was a restaurant hidden inside. Finally went inside to confirm and then made a reservation of that night on their outdoor patio area. The vibe is really nice since the patio is it's own separate area with some really nice...tiling? Idk it just feels really premium and good vibes outside. Ordered the Nabulsi Cheese small plate as well as the Pan Seared Flat-Iron Steak as the recommendation from the server. I'm really not that well versed in fine dining or just more pricy places, so this was a relatively new experience on my end. The nabulsi cheese plate was exceptional. The blend of flavours (olives, tomatoes, shallots) were really nice mixed together. The cheese was amazing, chewy and just great texture all on a nice sliced baguette. Kinda like a flavour explosion which was amazing. Definitely try the cheese plate. The flat-iron steak wasn't you typical steak cooked along with a potato side (mashed or fries). The steak was paired with a quinoa mix, "panca pepper demi and aji verde" which were the dark brown/black sauce and the green sauce in the picture. Steak was super tender and with both sauces were phenomenal. On the same vein as the nabulsi cheese plate, these dishes are literally flavours I've never tasted before and they were amazing. I never really tried quinoa either and was skeptical as to how it would pair alongside steak but it was actually quite nice since the texture was so different then the other things we ordered. This place is the definition of a hidden gem for me. Not even a Yelp page (woohoo another business added!) and not signage outside indicating what it is. Hopefully this review gives it it's much needed appreciation! 5 stars easily.

I came here a few years ago on a girls trip and have been thinking about the pizza here ever since!…read moreSpecifically the Nona Mela pizza, which has apple butter, roasted garlic, cheddar, caramelized onions, and blackened chicken. Normally I would never get this type of pizza as I love a red sauce, but this was recommended by one of my friend's friends so we tried it. And I'm so glad we did! This pizza is amazing and the flavours are prefectly balanced. Fast forward to this year, I was on a road trip with my husband and my dog and I just HAD to have this pizza again. We ordered the Nona Mela and the Citta pizza (the Citta has prosciutto and brie), and they were both delicious! The Nona Mela was especially good, and my husband agreed that it was a lot better than what he expected. We couldn't finish the two pizzas between us, so we brought the leftovers home and reheated it two days later. Somehow, the pizza was even better than the day of! We actually ordered an extra Nona Mela to bring home to one of my friends who was on the girls trip a few years ago, as she also has been thinking of this pizza. That's how good it is! The pizza is on the pricier side though, but very worth. We sat on the patio since we had a dog and the waiters/waitresses were very nice and gave my dog a water bowl.
