The vibes outside are fun and it's right on the water. There was a dj playing that night as well. Since the outside does not take reservations our group of 8 had to wait about 90 mins for a table. We were able to get a drink from the bar while we waited. Overall the food was good but it gets very busy outside on the weekends. Be prepared to wait a while.

When we finally were, we were placed at a "couch table" where the table itself was so low that we had to completely bend over just to eat. We were also seated directly next to the DJ's speaker, making it nearly impossible to hear each other throughout the meal. The service only made things worse. Our entrees were completely forgotten, including two sushi orders. At first, we were told the sushi bar was "backed up," but we watched multiple tables that ordered after us receive several rolls while we continued waiting. Our waitress also seemed to avoid our table while we were waiting for an update. After another 25 minutes, we finally asked to cancel the sushi. The manager then came over and told us our order had actually been delivered to the wrong table. She then joked that she "hoped they were allergic to it," which was an incredibly strange and inappropriate comment to make. Nothing was offered or comped to make up for the situation, and two people in our party ultimately left without ever receiving their entrees. What should have been a simple dinner turned into a two-and-a-half-hour ordeal. Between the hour-long wait, uncomfortable seating, extremely loud music, forgotten food, lack of communication, and the way the situation was handled, we unfortunately won't be returning.

There was a long line to be seated and the host seemed to take a very long time to seat each party. I think on weekends they need to have more hosts to keep the line moving, especially with this being the place to be for the Halloween season. Once seated, the service was good. We tried 2 of their Halloween cocktails. I had the Cape May blood moon bag, which essentially was a cosmo but served in a blood bag. Super fun idea/theming for halloween, but there was no way to make the bag stand up, making it sort of a pain to drink. The flavor was good though and the drink was strong! My mom had the spicy little devil, which was essentially a spicy passion fruit margarita. It was good, but could have had more of a Halloween touch. For food, we split the fried cauliflower with sriracha aioli, which we both loved! The flavor was great and the cauliflower was perfectly crisp. I wish the sauce was tossed though and not just drizzled on top. For food, I had the buffalo wings. These were delish! My mom had the clam chowder, which she absolutely loved. Overall, I would say this is a fun spot for drinks and apps, especially with the Halloween decor. I do think the lights could have been a little more dim to add to the spooky atmosphere, but definitely a cute spot to check out if you are in Cape May this October!
