I want to give a huge thank you to Wally and Mayers Bakery! I reached out with less than 24 hours' notice to have custom cookies made for our company dinner, and Wally came through beautifully -- no rush fee, and the cookies turned out perfect! Everyone loved them! Thank you so much, Mayers Bakery -- you've got a customer for life!

Fresh chocolate iced Cup Cakes Sprinkle

PV's go to bakery and coffee shop for years. Every pasty or cake I've gotten has always been delicious and beautiful. I do often find service a bit slow especially if anyone else needing help at the same time given seems to be small family owned run business with little staff. Inside is simple but nice - I prefer to use the outside seating if ever I'm not taking away. Best to order ahead and pickup. Note cupcakes and such they will add the icing for you at time of pickup or as you order on the spot so allow an extra couple minutes but this ensures a fresh and great tasting cupcake so I love this!

Absolutely awful craftsmanship and design. Amateur at best. Scammed out of 150 dollars. Julie was incredibly helpful at trying to fix this awful cake while the manager charged me 150 dollars for this atrocity and tried to blame me for not explaining properly. Not much to explain about clumpy gray sprinkles instead of iridescent glitter. If you want something professional go somewhere else. If you like getting scammed this is the place for you

"We do not guarantee the quality of our products after 24 hours" I ordered custom made crème brûlée for a very important event. The owner and had Baker insured me the highest quality product if I paid a premium price which I was happy to do so. The crème brûlée was runny and a completely liquid consistency- because it was undercooked. However because I picked up the crème brûlée 24 hours after it was prepared I was told that they can no longer guarantee the quality. They refused to remake the product for me and refused a refund. I left the crème brûlée at their office because it is completely inedible. What a shame about this type of business practice and unskilled baking.

Friendly service and a great bakery. Stopped it for a treat, left with some stunning cookies!

Cute Gingerbread cookies!

Two words: Butter-cookies. Try them. They melt in your mouth. They're wonderful with coffee or tea and they always have wrapped platters that are great to take places. I havent tried very many of the pastries but I do remember the chocolate cake being good and the almond croissant being yummy too. Last time we got the gingerbread "woman" and she was one legit cookie. Get it? Lol Excuse my Mommy humor. I remember getting an estimate on a 1 tier cake and it was quite high but their designs are great and their flavors are delicious too. Stop in. Get the butter cookies(the pecan shortbread and their regular butter cookies with the sprinkles(I hate sprinkles but this cookie is sooo good.). Get a cup of coffee. Go to the car and stuff your face where no one can see. Bring an extra magazine for extra cover. You're welcome. =)

Recently purchased 2 challah breads for the holidays. Big disappointment. Bread was very dry and stale tasting.

When I lived closer to South Torrance I used to come here many times!!!! It was closed for a while…read more I moved and then moved back and YAYYYYY they are open! (Not sure exactly the timeline ) but all to say I was sad when they were closed for a while but now they are open !!! I love their baguette sandwiches. Literally every single one of them. My sons bougie taste buds only likes their baguette sandwiches. Literally we would get other nice smoked salmon or jam on sandwiches and my son will say the little store in redondo beach is way better! It's so good!!! We always get sandwiches and croissants. I know other things are really good too but sincerely that's what we get all the time. So so so so good! Tiny hole in the wall shop. Small parking that's never available but also a lot of meter parking all around. Fun family won business super nice family!!

The smell is addicting and the place is comfortable and they make you feel at home. The service just the best. They are so nice. They do custom orders and of course you can go in. They have more than just the wonderful French pastries. They have sandwiches that are great for lunch or even dinner. They are amazing. French Baguette Sandwiches are so good. We love their Parisian Prosciutto, which has brie cheese, arugula, pesto aioli all on one of their great fresh baguettes. Their Chicken Salad Lover Herb Chicken Salad has, arugula, tomato all on the great baguette. Their sweet or savory pastries are so good and nothing is ever stale. You do need to pre-order cakes. I suggest their Opera Cake which is layers of almond sponge cake soaked in coffee syrup, layered with ganache and coffee, french buttercream all covered in chocolate glaze. Just wow. You won't get a better Croissant and they have a few from which to choose. It is just so good.

LOVE this place. The cream puffs are the biggest seller here. I saw someone had driven in from a…read moredistance to order these cream puffs to go. They offer these ice packs which are genius and a must since these cream puffs will melt and worse, may not taste as great after the drive home. This place is cute and TINY. The ladies who work here are so kind,hard-working and humble about how amazing these puffs are. My favorite is the black sesame one. Of course, there are several other desserts here. Their cheesecake is another favorite of ours. Parking is limited but I've been able to snag a spot. Definitely check this place out.

Came here and have known owner before she opened Chantilly Lace but since the sale of this shop…read more.. I'm sure she knew she was handing it over to someone who would destroy it but did not care. It's too bad because she was right. Based on the menu... we came at open, but the new owner took our order as the clerk notified us surely there will only be 5 assortments available. The owner said we may have to come back as they are just opening. Which is fine but am having a party with people who like different assortments so we just wanted to place an order. Then the clerk told my wife there will only be 5 assortments of cake! That's it for the entire day! the only difference I noticed with the new management is a croissant section 3 months ago and the selection seem slim then. But the owner explained how she took over a year ago. Knowing Keiko Chan, she must have been torn handing it over to someone like this. Trying to use the name while up pricing mediocre small pastries which seems is her niche. And paying for the recipes the chef left behind. It's a shame what it's become and the chef will be missed. But having the clerk act as boss talking over the owner as she takes orders while the clerk says "Nope, we won't have that" is just weird and acting out of leadership and bad for business. Just my two cents after coming here and knowing the old owner personally before it became a sensation in the J community RiP Chantilly Lace. After reply the lady Helen does not look like the lady who I spoke to 3 months back saying she's is now the new owner. Nonetheless it doesn't make sense what her reply is as far as being opened from 11 am to 8 am... like I said I've been coming to Chantilly when it opened and have been her Guinea pig before she actually opened the shop. Not sure why you would open the shop just to tell patrons nothing but 5 selections are available. But no sweat you just lost patrons that really appreciated the old service and taste. Good day to you Helen Y
