What doctor yells at her patients? What doctor yells at them in front of the entire staff and lobby? All because of a difference of opinion- she thinks calling in and saying she can't see her 9:20 appointment (me) until after 10:00am is not canceling the appointment and I do. She thinks because I had to leave and go to work that I walked out. How did I walk out when I rescheduled my appointment right then and there? I arrived at 9am, wasn't addressed until 9:20am, then told at 9:40am that she can't make it because of an emergency and that I could wait; she expects to be in after 10. I couldn't wait and rescheduled the appointment. This is walking out? Then, because I told her I go by my middle name, she told me that she will call me by my first name and if I want to be addressed by my middle name I should legally change it. Really? I've been addressed by my middle name since the day I was born and the other doctors and staff in the same office always call me by my middle name. This doctor was looking for a fight, decided to yell at me and berate me in front of everyone and then refused to see me. This is a professional? Oh yeah, and don't dare call yourself a customer. According to her, this diminishes her career and she is better than everyone else because she saves lives. THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE!

She was always bragging about how efficient Dr Nahas was and how comfortable she always felt when she had to go there. I made an appointment and it turned out that Angela was still the receptionist and I instantly remembered her because my mom always said how kind and compassionate she was- not many receptionist in doctors office are as kind when you called. To me that's very important as the first line of contact. When I arrived today, I called the office from my car and Angela told me to come in. They took my temperature, brought me into a spotless examine room, had me wash my hands and take a seat. Dr Nahas spent a very long time with me taking all of my personal background then she gave me a complete physical, which is something I haven't had in years. When I left, I was so happy that I thought about Dr. Nahas and made the appointment. Now I have a primary care doctor to release me for surgery when it happens. Her office took extreme measures to make sure all COVID rules are in place. I felt extremely comfortable and safe. I would recommend her, especially if you're looking for a caring and personable doctor. She takes as long as you need- she's not on the clock of a large group insisting she see 25 patients a day, so it's much different visiting her office. I was so impressed. The parking is very easy and convenient, it's all one level. No stairs at all. In addition, she is less than 100 yards from St Barnabas hospital in Livingson. I'm so glad I called her office. Thank you Angela and Dr Nahas.

This review is long overdue. I went to Summit Medical Group today for lab work. I walked in a tad…read morebit late (Sorry!). I was immediately greeted with a smile by the phlebotomist. She verified my information and took me in after checking in the next person behind me. The service was fast, efficient and courteous. I do this review because I have been going to various locations of Summit Medical Group for 20+ years and for over 20 years the service has been spectacular. I started with them when my son was about 2 years old at their Short Hills location. I've used theirs Urgent Care, After hour Doctors, internal Medicine, Labs, Radiology, Gynecology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, Endocrinology, and a host of other specialties. Throughout the years I have had more memorable/pleasant experiences then unpleasant. I hate getting blood drawn and have 1 good, visible vain, but the staff always seem to put be at ease. The young lady today was more than great at her job (Shame on me for not getting her name, but she's been there for a few years), she was very professional and personable; it's because of people like her that Summit Medical Group is such a growing success. She not only provided stellar service, but World Class service. Not to mention the facilities and restrooms are always clean. So if you are seeking A great Medical Practice you may want to look at Summit Medical, they have so mNy locations Morristown, Florham Park, West Orange, Livingston, Berkeley Heights, WestField, Warren and some that I don't even know about, but they have worked for me. Truthfully I've only had 1 unpleasant experience in 20+ years and it's not worth writing about, because in this case the good truly outweighs the bad.

This post is for notification purposes and not intended to convince anyone not to patronize her establishment. However, I will not be returning. I scheduled and confirmed my annual appointment around my busy work schedule, without an issue. The day of my appointment, a work meeting ran later than planned and I ended up running late for my appointment. Respectful of Dr.'s time, I called into to let them know I was running late and to make sure it was still fine for me to come to the office. I let the receptionist LISA know I had a 12:30 PM l, was running 15-20 mins late and called to let the office know. Lisa, got rude over the phone and said that I needed to provide 24H notice of rescheduling/cancellation or I must pay a fee. I said the fee is no problem. I told LISA i had no intention on canceling and asked how would I have known I'd be 15-20 min late, 24H ago when I'm calling her TODAY? Lisa continued to be rude, stated I couldn't see the doctor because it was past the 15 min Grace Period. I asked if the Dr. had any open appointment slots later that day, to reschedule. LISA replied that the Dr. was booked for the remainder of the day. I said well let's reschedule for sometime next week, is the Dr available Monday by any chance? Lisa nastily said No and refused to reschedule my appointment over the phone. I'm not going to lie, Lisa hit a nerve and hung up on her, expeditiously. Then I decided to go to the Dr's office anyway, to reschedule and to pay the missed visit cancellation fee. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Lisa and she informed the Dr I arrived. The doctor said she was about to see a patient and asked that I return in 30 minutes. I said ok, and waited in my care for the duration of the 30 minutes. When I returned to the office I was asked to sit in the waiting area. The doctor came out and told me she couldn't see me that day. I said no problem, I don't mind rescheduling. She said no, you may not reschedule. I then asked, if she was implying that she would no longer treat me as my PCP, she said YES. She said that I treated her receptionist badly, based on her receptionist speaking to the doctor during the 30 minute wait. When LISA told me not to come to the office due to my lateness and refused to reschedule, I came in person anyway to find out why. Fearing disciplinary action, she LIED and told the doctor I was rude over the phone, which was untrue, LISA was the one who was rude, and unprofessional. As a patient, I felt the Dr. Kewalramani should have asked my side of the story. I found her taking the receptionists version of the narrative disappointing, appalling, and cold, considering that I am the patient seeking services from her medical office. Please be aware of the receptionist LISA and let the Dr. know if she treats you unfairly.
