He said the food was so good. He traveled all the way from 78th and stony Island just to come here for breakfast. The guy also said that he worked for the city and that was one of the spots that all the workers would come to. I asked about the other Joe's restaurant across the street. He said that it was old workers that worked for the original Joe's that opened up their own business. The food took a little bit about 20 minutes they cooked everything from scratch. I also loved that they used real mushrooms for my omelette. So many other diners use canned mushrooms. I'm glad they didn't. I also ordered an apple juice and our total was under $19. That's a steal!
