I ordered the turkey, mac n cheese, string beans, and djon djon plate, and my husband got the jambalaya plate. And we got two drinks: cherry lemonade and fruit punch. 0/10. The turkey tasted old, the pickles were spoiled, the rice was disgusting, the mac n cheese tasted like boxed Velveeta mac and cheese with onion powder and garlic powder... no salt. My husband took a few bites from his food and said it just tasted like rice and shrimp, no flavor whatsoever. I'm convinced these people get paid to review this place. Never again! Edited response after reading the owner response: Instead of the owner taking ownership of their nasty food, they want to bd combative in the response left under my post. Someone else calls out the food being tasteless and gets asked to come back to make it right. My opinion on the food IS MY OPINION. I don't ever write reviews for people, but that I had too. WE COULDNT EVEN EAT THE FOOD, so we tossed it out when we got home and had to buy food elsewhere. It was unacceptable. We are not from Orlando, we are out of towners, so how can we come back??? The food is trash and that's that and you pay for reviews PERIOD! If it weren't paid it would be better. I'm not the only one saying the food is nasty. Accept the fact and be better. Claiming to come back and speak to you as if one can speak to an owner behind a window... please. I still stand ten toes on my review! They have zero decorum, piss poor attitudes and customer service. I should have called the health department and report them for serving Poor quality food Since they want to be nasty to people who don't leave them positive reviews.

I pay an Uber to get here so I'm very frustrated about that because I couldn't eat my food. I ordered two pastries one chicken, one beef it literally took 30 minutes. There's no one you could talk to in regards to how long it'll be for the food so I had to wait just to get the food so I can order another Uber to go somewhere else when I get the two pastries that are four dollars apiece the ground beef one is horrible. The chicken is just basic that's there. There's no veggies there's no nothing inside these places just bread and meat very disappointed.

We seen Nikki's on a YouTube recommendation and decided to visit. We have no regrets whatsoever!!! From the start to the finish I knew we were in for a treat. Walking in Nikki's felt like stepping into Nanas kitchen, very down home, walls filled with accolades and other interesting things. The customer service was personable and very friendly. And the food, was wow!!! I've never had grits better than my own until Nikki's , my husband had bacon, home fries and grits and was very very pleased. Our waitress offer us their reputable biscuits and gravy complimentary and we definitely were grateful to take it. The biscuits were freshly made and sooooo great!!! I stopped getting pancakes while at restaurants because they were dry and just tasteless, But ....... I knew Nikki's would be different lol I got 1 pancake to go and this 1 pancake single-handed restored my love for the pancake. I will not be ordering pancakes just because though, I will however get another pancake from Nikki's Place when we return to Florida!!! Nikki's thank you for restoring my love pancakes and giving us an authentic taste of Florida!!!!! Bravo

I decided to do my last magical dining for 2026 here. I made a reservation through OpenTable. I…read moredecided to sit at the bar since it was open, and tried the Capari cocktail for 15 dollars. It was literally bitter sweet, with the sweetness coming from the fruits, and the bitterness most likely from the liquor. It was still a good and refreshing drink. For the appetizer, I had to try their unique and popular pork belly s'mores. It looked like a dessert, but a sweet and savory dish. The pork belly was braised nicely and tender, with the marshmallow adding the sweetness. The homemade crackers were very nice, and the jalapeno added a nice kick. The main dish was the bourbon chicken. It was nicely tender and had a hint of sweetness from the bourbon. The rice went well with the chicken, and the broccolini was perfectly grilled. For dessert, the bread pudding with ice cream was a perfect end. Moist and delicious. It was getting full, so I was able to save some and enjoy at home too. The service was attentive with my bartender checking up with me occasionally. They were quite busy, but still friendly. The dining area looked dark and a bit more formal than last time I visited. But still social and relaxing. I didn't get to see the outdoor patio, but it looked nice from the inside. I parked at the UCF/Valencia garage, which was 3 dollars per hour. Sadly, they don't validate parking. I am so happy I ate at the Monroe for my last magical dining. It's been a while since I eaten there, but the food and drinks are still great. I must say the food was definitely high in calories, sugar, and fat, but it was well worth it. It's just that good in a very nice environment. Definitely will come again when I need southern comfort food! Overall: A

I ordered a brat with mustard and sauerkraut, paired with sweet potato tots, and it was exactly what I needed for a mid-to-late evening bite. The brat hit the spot--simple, satisfying, and done right. The sweet potato tots were surprisingly memorable: petite, crispy, light, and not overly greasy. It was a simple occasion, but the menu definitely left me curious. There's enough variety there that I'll need to come back and explore more. Sometimes you don't need fine dining--you just need the right food at the right time. The Classic delivered.

We were told upfront that two of the kitchens take a little longer to get the food out, but to our surprise it came out pretty fast. We ordered from Shay's as the menu looked really good! We ordered hot honey wings, fish and grits, Mac n cheese, collard greens, fries (which were curly), and garlic knots. The Mac n cheese and collard greens wIere a NO. The greens were dry and the Mac n cheese needed salt and seasoning. It just taste like noodles. The garlic knots were really good. I'm not a fan of curly fries, they came unsalted and they didn't bring ketchup. They were hot though. The fish and grits was OK, but the grits needed salt as well, but the texture was perfect. The chicken was quite large which I didn't care for. Like really huge chicken wings. Luckily, they were cooked all the way through, but massive nonetheless. They do give nice portion sizes, so if you happen to enjoy the food, you'll have plenty to eat. The service was OK. Nothing to complain about, nothing to rave about. He did his best and was very friendly. Would I recommend this place, probably not, but everyones taste buds are different.
