So every week we try out a new place in Central, Florida and our son suggested we try out maxtros -He loves them. Right now it's a food truck and I know the location says orange Avenue but technically they're on 17-92 right by Minnesota. It's a food truck and they serve Wagyu hamburgers. They make their own aïoli sauce, which is good, but I would've liked a little ketchup for my fries, even though it has aïoli sauce on it too ... but no ketchup is available! They said they don't want to change the taste of the Wagyu burger. Fries also have the aïoli sauce on it as well as the tater tots and by the way, these tater tots were the best I've ever had in my life and I'm not a huge tater tot fan like my husband and son are ! Fries were good. I just wished I had a little more ketchup to go with the aïoli.... The burger had great flavor. You could definitely tell it was a Wagyu. It's a double patty smash burger and then you can add things to it if you want like caramelized, onions, or egg or candied bacon. Our son did just that both heavy and I just got the regular. They give you a bottled water when you walk up and as a special surprise, they treated us to these yummy yummy yummy guava churros.!!! (by the way guys save your money on the sauce. You don't need them. Those churros are fantastic without it.) Did you have one picnic table and that's where we sat and eat and it was fun to watch the people walking by on 1792 everybody was dressed up for Halloween tonight even though it's a week away I guess a lot of the local bars we're having dress up for Halloween. All the places we've tried our son like this one the best so far he gave it a 10 out of 10 Hubby was a nine out of 10 overall And I am an eight out of 10 overall . Parking well that's gonna be on the street or a side street and I can't say that this is handicap friendly,, except it is accessible from the sidewalk, but you're still gonna have little incline hills to go up not a lot but still uneven pavement and a little hill. Of course you could also have this delivered via DoorDash or one of the other sites I'm just enjoy it at home So definitely a place you need to check out !! I know the address says N. Orange Ave. but it's not on Orange anymore. He says they do have a traveling truck that you just "follow" for the next location but currently because of the great weather he's on 1792 by Minnesota. . by the way, they do sell many other items besides burgers it's just that that's what the three of us decided. We were going to rate this time around. ! Enjoy

I first heard about Maxtro's on instagram & had been meaning to try them out so I was thrilled to run across their truck at the Eola Christmas night market. They seem to do a lot of business so be prepared to wait at minimum 30 min for your order but the food is good and the service is top tier. You can tell each order is crafted carefully and the quality is definitely there, everything was served hot and fresh. The owner saw we had a dog and even offered us a complimentary "pup patty", so that was an awesome treat. If you see them out definitely give them a try.

After a heavy, long week, we dropped by our local brewery - Toll Road - where we have amazing beers and listen to the perfect music... and ordered dinner from Maxtro's. Wagyu HP's were out of this world! Delicious, juicy, crispy, tasty burgers.... Fries were yummy too! The young man in the food truck was friendly and courteous. It was a perfect way to wrap up our stressful work week!

Maxtro's is such a vibe. I usually order from the patio area at Alfie's, where Maxtro's employees are there to help with the ordering process and bring your food out when it's ready. The fries are absolutely amazing--packed with flavor and served in a generous portion that could easily feed two people. At only $5, they're the best bang for your buck!

I was so glad I found Maxtro's on Yelp. I was craving a burger and clicked on the pictures. Omg everything looked so tasty. As I was getting ready to head out, I saw that they had an online order feature, so I got curious. I put in an order and saw that they wait was approximately 45 minutes. I parked down the street and once it was near the 45 minute minute mark, I drove to park closer to the truck. The owner was there and he was very kind and welcoming. He asked how I was doing and asked if I had any questions. It was a very busy night for them. They had a lot of in-person orders and previously had an event before setting up. The food was ready in about an hour. They are a couple of benches next to the food truck where you can sit and eat. The food was amazing! I got a wagyu burger (added an egg), fries, a small macaroni and cheese, and 2 shrimp skewers (buy 2 skewers, get 1 free). The meat was juicy and flavorful well. The fries were crispy and seasoned to perfection. The macaroni and cheese was rich and creamy. The shrimp were marinated well and were packed with flavor. Overall, I definitely recommend checking this place out, you will not be disappointed!

My friend and I visited Maxtro's one night for dinner, and it was such a great experience! This food truck, tucked away in Ivanhoe Village, offers a really unique vibe. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, so we had plenty of time to browse the menu and order through the iPads they had set up out front--super convenient! I went for the OG Smash Burger, and let me tell you, it was everything I could want in a burger. The flavor was out of this world, especially with that garlic aioli - YUM! It was super filling and delicious, but the price was a bit on the higher side at $15 (without any sides). Honestly, though, it was worth every penny for such an amazing burger. It felt like a splurge, but one that paid off. The workers were incredibly friendly, and they even gave us a free grilled PB&J to try! It was seriously so tasty and a fun treat. You can really tell they put a lot of love and creativity into everything they make. Maxtro's is a fantastic spot to grab a bite, whether you're coming after a night out or just looking for a delicious meal. There are picnic benches if you want to hang out and enjoy your food there, too. Highly recommend this place if you're in the area!

Great experience from start to finish! I was greeted with water upon arrival & received amazing service from Max. He offered to bring me a chair while I waited. Service like that is rare, especially at food trucks, I really appreciated it. The whole team had great energy + the disco ball was such a fun touch. The food truck and kitchen were clean, which stood out to me too. I asked for their top sellers and loved every bite. Definitely recommending this spot to others!

Got Maxtro's while at Alfies. The fries were huge for only $5! I hope inflation never hits them lol. I wish my portion had a little more sauce on it as my friend's had a lot. They were great and I for see many more $5 fries in my future. The service was great and the cooks were helping check out tonight so they were perfect to ask questions.

Upon arriving at this location, I quickly understood why it has such high ratings on Yelp and TikTok. The customer service was impeccable, starting with the accommodations made for my Surf + Turf Fries. Since I don't eat red meat, the chefs kindly replaced the wagyu with extra seafood. The food truck and seating areas were clean and well-organized. The staff's exceptional service reminded me of more of a fine dining experience (I interacted with a gentleman with a ponytail that really seems to enjoy his job)! The food was amazing, with portions large enough to share. The fries were crispy, the shrimp was perfectly seasoned and grilled, and the sauce was a perfect complement. The other food trucks nearby were also pleasant and friendly which I may be trying also.

I'm not a burger person because there's never been a consistently good burger worth the indulgence around here but as I'm writing this review - drooling over the burger I had last night, I'm planning on going again tonight because who let that burger be so GOOD????? At first, I was skeptical cause most places that use Wagyu as their patty always tend to either overcook it or smother it in toppings to a point where it's not a burger anymore - it's a portable salad. Maxtro's was the definition of a burger - each ingredient was as succulent and buttery as the last, stacked together to form the BEST Smashburger I've ever had in my lifetime. The brioche bun was perfectly crisp, buttery, and soft with the inners of melty warm white American cheese, grilled onions, and their incredible aioli which I could spoon straight out of a bowl. The patty and cheese had crispy edges and was swaddled in their food foil like the most perfect burger baby. Upon first glance - you would think it's just a burger, but once you take that first bite and that cheese just pulls over and warms your chin, you'll know how much love was put into it. The team over at Maxtro's was so down to earth and caring not only in their food but the people they serve - there's no wondering why they have the best burger in Orlando. Whether you're a burger person or not - you need to try this place, it's worth the drive, the cost, and is the superior Smashburger. See ya tonight Maxtro's!

So we ordered.. smothered pork chops, fried catfish and shrimp, lemon butter chicken wings, red rice, Collard greens, Lima beans, black eyed peas, cornbread, candied yams, mac and cheese, and some onion fries.. with some sweet tea. I want to tell you, every bite I took had me closing my eyes and smiling. My only complaint was the lima beans were a little bit salty, but when I ate it with everything else it didn't really matter. The lemon butter fried chicken wings were absolutely amazing. I have not tasted anything like that in my life. You can't go there and not get them. You need these wings. I'd also like to say that all the sides are meat-free , so vegetarians come get some . We ate till we were full, and we had enough to take home as well. We took an order of bread pudding home for dessert and that was absolutely delicious too. Overall absolutely great food. The staff took care of us very well. Highly recommended!

My son got the fruit punch mixed with lemonade. I like to get half sweet and half unsweetened tea. We commenced to ordering. I got the lemon butter wing dinner again with the side of candied yams, yellow rice, and greens. The rest of the table got fried chicken, catfish and shrimp, ribs, and bbq chicken.. We all got a side of cornbread with our meal. We devoured. We got our fingers and mouths all sauced up and messy. We feasted. Everyone loved their meal and I felt like a hero for suggesting this fine, homey establishment. We decided that we couldn't fit dessert but greediness prevailed and we got desserts to go. Red velvet cake, peach cobbler, banana pudding, and lemon pound cake. The bread pudding is one of my faves. The banana pudding was nothing to write home about. Could have used some fresh bananas cut up in there. Last but not least, I have to mention our beautiful server, Audrey. She handled our table with a winning combination of love and skill. She has a lovely smiling face and her warmth shone through and made our dining experience that much better. I'll be back and will continue to introduce folks to this tiny treasure of a place.

Southern comfort food as a general rule just doesn't sit well with me anymore and I'm going to be very transparent and bare my soul a little bit here but here goes . . . Ever since being on GLP1's, I've developed a really complicated relationship with comfort food. Foods that are rich, buttery, creamy or fatty now hit me completely differently than they used to. It's almost like my body immediately goes into shutdown mode afterwards. I feel heavy, exhausted and like I've instantly ballooned even if the portions themselves aren't massive. For the longest time I honestly thought it was simply the richness of the food itself but now I realize it's because my digestion just can't process heavier comfort foods the same way anymore. Suddenly... it all makes sense. The food itself here is VERY good. Properly seasoned, well prepared, beautifully presented... absolutely no complaints there whatsoever. I simply have to become more mindful and strategic now with my menu selections no matter WHERE I dine. I chose the Creekstone Farm's NY Strip with the fabulous bone marrow which I KNOW is supposed to be incredibly nutrient rich and good for you... but honestly... it just about put me under afterwards. This dinner happened thanks to Ronnald M. and his sister Teris and it was our pre-opera dinner outing before seeing the fabulous Merry Widow at the Dr. Phillips Center. The Monroe is honestly a very good pre-concert restaurant choice because of both the atmosphere and location... I'm just personally learning that this new GLP1 reality means I can't approach menus the way I used to anymore.

I'm not a fan of curly fries, they came unsalted and they didn't bring ketchup. They were hot though. The fish and grits was OK, but the grits needed salt as well, but the texture was perfect.
