.DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They ordered the wrong item for our truck and refused to return it. He showed us a picture of the part he was ordering. The item matching the picture DID NOT arrive. His response? "You should know the part number". Aren't you the expert? Apparently not. If I order something from any other company in America, and the item does not match the picture when it arrives, they return it. Yet this "veteraned owned company" wouldnt. THEY made the mistake and would not make it right. The owner will likely make up some lame excuse like the rest of his crappy reviews. HORRIBLE SERVICE. Joey and his team installed a rough country 6" loft kit and wheels and tires on my Sierra. They were thorough and upfront about the length of time it would take to complete. Pricing was fair, as I won the lift kit at the CCA annual banquet (Joey donated it to be auctioned off) I choose bigger wheels and paid the difference, Joey was easy to work with and helped me find the perfect wheels that would fit my truck! My only complaint was that there was some cutting that I wasn't expecting and I needed to add a Mudflap delete kit. But that's not a real complaint.! They stand behind their work and I will absolutely use them again if I ever need another lift! read more

Joey has modified 5 trucks of mine. I do not take my vehicles anywhere else. If I need my trucks to be lifted new tires or issues going on with anything with my trucks he's got my business. He has fixed my Fords my Chevys, my Rams, even fixed my challenger. I've been doing business with Him since his store next to blossom athletic center. I even bought trucks and would take it to him to inspect it before I bought it to ensure me that it was a good buy. He's not just a mechanic, but it's developed to be a friendship. read more

Exact same experience as all the other 1-star reviews. They quoted a price, doubled it, and picking up the truck with what was supposed to be a simple install cost THREE times the original quote. Very friendly at drop-off, extremely rude at pick-up and they never called to say the job was going to be that much $$. Bolts weren't tightened, sensors had to be reset at dealer for $480. Do not recommend. read more

These guys are awesome. Called them up and they were honest and said they were slammed and scheduled me out a week. Friday appointment for leveling kit and exhaust install. Dropped it off Thursday evening and got a call Friday around noon about completion. Quick and easy to deal with. Definitely going back! read more

These guys totally robbed me. Went in for a $1200 lift. They said it couldnt be done with the condition of some of the parts on the vehicle (76 Bronco). so they bought parts and had the vehicle for weeks. $5800 later....The work was later checked out by another mechanic that said I was totally overcharged and that things were not even put back together correctly. Paid for a new auxiliary fuel tank that was not put together correctly so it wasnt going to work the way it was supposed to. Lift was apparently a $400 kit. In hindsight should have gotten other opinions, so shame on me, But still.. they took me for a ride. read more

My husband paid quite a bit of money to have a lift done at this establishment and they forgot to torque down the lug nuts on one of the tires and the next day my husband nearly lost his life when they all came off on the highway. When we called to let them know what they did, they basically called us liars and said we couldn't prove that it was them who loosened the lug nuts. Unbelievable. Worst experience dealing with these people they put the wrong part on my truck MULTIPLE TIMES and left off parts I had paid $2,300+ for. This ordeal lasted 5 months and I will never go back. These guys are experts at what they do. I have a 2012 ram 3500 that developed the dreaded "Death Wobble". I had it in another reputable shop for over 8 weeks and the cost was over $3300 and it was still not fixed. I took my truck to Maximum Altitude and they fixed the truck within a week at a cost of $833. The fix was not replacing parts but their expert staff found a worn bracket on the frame that needed to be repaired. Joey and his team put a new adjustable track bar on the truck and repaired the bracket and the "Death Wobble" is gone. If you have a "Death Wobble", do yourself a favor and take it straight to this shop and save yourself a lot of frustration and money. read more

Maximum Altitude did some work on my vehicle three years ago, tires, tie rods, etc. No complaints about the original work. I made an appointment in person with Joey two weeks prior to today, looking to have my tires rotated, balanced, and aligned along with checking the steering linkage to eliminate some squeaking. I went to drop my Jeep off this morning at 9:00, only to find out my appointment wasn't in the system; same with the guy in front of me trying to drop off his vehicle. The front desk guy (not Joey this time), took down my information and took my key. Six hours later, I called to see if it was going to be ready today or tomorrow. Same front desk guy tells me that they just got some parts for it, but wouldn't be able to get to it for two more weeks. When I went to pick up the Jeep, it was parked in the exact place in the exact manner that I dropped it off. Went to talk to Joey personally, who remembered scheduling the job, but had no explanation for not having the job in the system, blaming the computer. When I asked what was actually wrong with the vehicle, Joey admitted no one even looked at my Jeep today, so the "ordering parts" story was a complete lie. So instead of telling me this morning that they had too many vehicles to service, they let me drop it off and waste two total hours of travel time and my whole day without a vehicle. He is supposedly in the process of opening another shop. Maybe he should rethink. From my experience, he has too much on his hands running the one he has. If I could leave less than one star, I would. read more

This place rocks! The staff were extremely accommodating, friendly, and talked cars! The showroom is pretty fantastic and shows you why there shop is represented at Sema. Joey the owner in a jeep guru. I've got $100K jeep and I usually do my own maintenance. Recently I had a severe steering problem. They diagnosed it, fixed it, and didn't charge me since I had overlooked tightening a few bolts. On top of that he talked about local clubs that get together and work on vehicles. I just moved here about three weeks ago and now they have customer for life. I can't wait to start future projects with them. read more

Highly recommend this place. Joey made some great recommendations and was very fair with his prices. He kept up communications with me and sent me pics of the new tires and wheels. I went to a custom muffler shop (not a corner CHEAP MEXICAN mulfer shop as the owner stated). I was charged $300 dollars to do the work Maximum wanted a $1000.00 to do. The shop I ended up taking my jeep to installed both catalytic converters for $300 and guaranteed their work. BTW, they drove my jeep to my house because I could not get home before they closed. read more
